More like a neighborhood bar than a hotel bar. The bar is located in the Renaissance Hotel lobby. The building was originally a bank and the setting is airy and comfortable. The bartenders are knowledgeable and helpful.

Wow what a random awesome bar find tonite! Stopped by the Renaissance Hotel & asked a guy what bars were good for Happy Hour. He mentioned "Teller Bar" (it used to be a bank back in the day). Beautiful interior decor w/stunning chandeliers & extremely knowledgeable bar staff regarding mixology/specialty cocktails. *Ask for Paul or Matt! Manager Brian was super friendly & had us taste their salmon appetizer. Salmon, creme fraiche w/ a crispy onion potato cake. It came w/truffle arugula...oh Ma Gawddd we killed it, it was amazing! They also had a Happy Hour $6 well liquor drinks, $6 local craft beers & $6 house Red/white wine. Hope you catch singer "Jack Hadley" when you are there, he was the singer tonite, he is truly talented artist. Perfect evening for my first time in Denver. Highly recommended!

Scallops with risotto and a wonderful sauce.

We have been frequenting this establishment for a few months, a hidden gem in The Renaissance hotel in downtown Denver. The Teller Bar has live music and a great drink and good menu. A new chef has recently started and is bringing some great dishes. We tried the scallops today YUM! The food is good, the service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is wonderful! Thank you Max, Emma and Heather for providing wonderful service for our date night. We will be back

THE FOOD 01. LOBSTER MAC AND CHEESE ($20): cheddar jack, cavatappi, & panko a classic indulgence with a good helping of lobster! 02. WINTER FLATBREAD ($16): whipped brie, roasted apple, kale, dried cranberries, candied pecans, & balsamic maple gastrique a superb combination of ingredients so fresh and flavorful that this vegetarian menu item ended up being our table's favorite! 03. RACLETTE & HAM BAGUETTE ($20): tomato bisque, cornichons, & whole grain mustard a delicious pairing that never goes wrong! THE VIEW the blinds were raised as soon as the sun started setting so that guests could enjoy the view without any obstruction. as an out-of-state visitor, being able to see all of denver surrounded by mountains and bathed in gold was the highlight of my trip. THE SPACE peaks lounge feels private without feeling standoffish or corporate. it is an intimate setting that seems to offer seating for any type of guest. there are large sofas for friends to sink into, small tables for romantics to lean over, and long tables for families to gather around. THE SERVICE staff were patient and accommodating throughout our stay.

Cash only. $5 for all drinks. Don't expect any fancy cocktails. They can still make a juice, soda, liquor concoction with a lime, and voila! You have a cocktail. The crowds are super diverse in age and ethnicity, a rarity I desperately often miss in CO. The music is awesome.. 90's grunge, rnb, hiphop. We bought a stack of playing cards. Also $5 and entertained ourselves for hours. I visited other bars afterwards and had to come back to old faithful for our nightcap. If you're looking for a casual and fun place to hang without breaking the bank, this speakeasy is it!

Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.
