    Mozzarella Coins

Keep in mind when reading this review my wife and I were quite drunk so our thoughts on the food may have been a bit inflated. The bartender from Lincoln's mentioned this a spot for late night bites and was correct. So, from what I could sense this is a popular light night cheap eats/drinks spot for what appeared to be a mostly younger crowd! Bartenders were friendly enough considering the large crowd they were dealing with. Needing some quick food to hold us over until the next day we decided to split mozzarella coins (like sticks just coins....duh!) and carnitas nachos. The coins were great and had phenomenal cheese pull to them! The highlight was the carnitas nachos though, although I believe the queso had a little kick so my wife could not enjoy them quite as much as she hoped. If you are drunk I think you will enjoy it here and if you go in not expected world class experience I think it'll be good. Just have expectations realistic!

I met with some friends to hang out with. The atmosphere was very sporty so to say. Ha. The night we went wasn't crowded so we weren't bumping into strangers and needing to wait long for the pool table. Also no long wait for drinks at the bar and the servers were very courteous.

If you're reading this and need a good bar, with a good vibe, AMAZING food and an amazing staff, then this is your spot! We came in for a trade show and the icehouse for some drinks, food and music. Let me tell you, the pizza rolls, pretzel bites, pickle fries, pizza, hot wings and everything we ordered was really good. We ended up ordering the pizza rolls 3x, yeaaaa, 3x.....in one night, don't believe me. Ask Toben, Amber, Corey and this guy that looked like Seth Rogan but we didn't get his name (sorry, Seth Rogan guy). they'll vouch for my story and provide 5 star service at the same time, great crew! This would be my local bar if I lived in the area. The happy hour and all around pricing is great. Trust me, stop by and get the pizza rolls lol. See the staff above, they'll make it even more fun.

Icehouse is a fun spot to watch your favorite team and grab a drink / some bar food. Casual environment. Great beer deals during happy hour. It was crowded when I went and only 2 bartenders so it took a while to get drinks but those 2 bartenders were running as fast as they could.

Great place to enjoy a cheap beee after the Rockies game! Great music and great beer. I'll try the food next time because I hear really good things!

My buddy and I were in town for a wedding and sticking around for some adventuring while in town. We were in Denver for 5 nights and we ended up at Icehouse Tavern all 5 nights. Now is this bar so great that you need to spend every night there? No. Our hotel was close by and there wasn't much else open in the neighborhood so we stopped in to finish our first night here. Then we had fun so we came back each night. Even after the wedding... we had a party bus and a few cars of people and were looking for a spot we could all meet up so we went to Icehouse. By the end of our stay, we knew most of the staff, bouncers, and even patrons. It became our Cheers bar for the week and we even got to watch the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup here. Plus you can't beat the price on a Montuckey Cold Snack and a shot of bourbon!

Small sports bar which is a bit dark but that doesn't bother me. There's also some outdoor seating available. The location is awesome and the drinks are cheap. I see absolutely no reason not to go back unless I'm looking to take advantage of a sunny day. I kind of wish there was more natural light coming through. Service was professional and social distancing is enforced which is great to see. I ordered a Mexican Lager which came with a shot of tequila for just over $4! To be fair that was on happy hour which ended at 6pm. I'll likely return on a not so sunny day to take advantage of the cheap drinks.

Great food! Great service! Love this spot whenever I'm hungry late night. The bartenders hustle and kill it even when busy! Def recommend if you're in the area

Dank af as always. Duh. Come here if you want the best bar pizza in town. Easily. It's the best spot to come into and just get jammed and eat even more. John Taffer loves it.

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

Would not order again. The soup was good! Not the best I've ever had but definitely good. The only thing was we ordered a soup but didn't specify and got the small size. I would specify a bowl if you want a meal sized portion. The grilled cheese that came with it was tasty! The chicken Caesar wrap was fine. Portion is sorta small but glad it comes with a side. It was tasty all the same but would have been much better and more enjoyable had it been thorougly cooked. This put us off a bit, so we opted to skip the entree and go straight for dessert. The Burbon Peach Crumble is also served in a skillet, and - you guessed it - also lukewarm. It made for a very dense hard to spoon out experience. With that, he cancelled my order and made me something "not on the menu" but what I called the "Patrick special." So good. Thanks, sir! Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Overall, great first Denver meal; good beer, mostly good food, and a relaxed spot that made for a solid welcome to the city.

The server gave us a lot of info like telling us which food dishes were James beard award winning. The breads were yummy but very small and the server came around to distribute it to us individually. We tried the fresh bacon first -- it's basically a piece of pork belly in a garbanzo bean mush with butter / oil around it. I liked the bean mush the most, it added a lot of flavor to the pork. The pork is actually pretty similar to a piece of Kalua pork, we were eating with some Hawaiians and they thought it was just like kalua pork minus rice. I ordered the artichoke tortellini but it was extemely rich and I was a bit shocked by how creamy it was. Served with small pieces of artichoke hearts and some cheese. I found it was best if you ate it with a bit of the broth as it adds a lot of flavor that balances the super creamy tortellini. I loved the dessert-- it's basically a chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. Some of my table mates ordered the peas and carrots dessert and it looked really interesting kind of like a salad. I took off a star because they seemed to keep clearing only half the table and taking away our silverware without giving more. We found ourselves short of utensils a few times! There could also be more clear signage about where the bathroom is.
