Jay the bartender was the nicest person I've met in my trip to Denver! Great service from her and everyone else! Cool atmosphere

I can only speak for the drinks, the service and the view here. We were in town for the Colorado Avalanche game and looking for some cheaper beverages before entering Ball Arena. It was chilly out, but we were still craving a rooftop patio since those are so far and few between in Fort Collins. This came up on our search so we hiked over from our hotel and went through the downstairs entrance, up the stairs to the rooftop. We were greeted by dozens of taps, all featuring Colorado beers, ciders and seltzers ranging from $5 - $10. Our bartender let us try a few different options since there were 70 options to choose from. The patio garage doors were closed on the chilly day, and it was nice and cozy inside, but we opted to take our drinks and sit in the sun while we could. I grabbed a cider and we took one of the open picnic tables overlooking the street below. The only disappointing part of our visit was the table of Red Wings fans who chose to sit next to us to pre-game the game as well. Definitely will be back the next time we make it to Denver! read more

This is on the rooftop of hayters and they play the Chicago Bears games and there's a huge following in Denver. Moving here from Chicago, I was sad that i couldn't watch the game and I found this place. So awesome! Service is always friendly. Came on a Thursday after work for happy hour with some coworkers! Great vibes, the music was just a little too loud. But it was super hot, and they had misters. If I wasn't wearing my work clothes, I would've enjoyed it! Plenty of great beer options on tap and spirits if you're looking for a cocktail. Very disappointed in the service here. Came on a Sunday afternoon for a few drinks with some friends and the waitress, Lisa, was rude, spilled one of our drinks on the way to the table, rubbed the lime all over her hand, and still handed it over like that. We ordered some wings with the drinks and both the wings and fries felt cold and a bit hard as if they had been sitting out too. After all that our waitress even gave us attitude about the tip as she checked the screen and stared us down when paying. Tap Fourteen was a bit tricky to find; you have to go into Hayters bar, and then go immediately to the left and up the stairs. It's a smaller but well used outdoor space. We enjoyed Colorado beers on tap - there were a lot of them! Also neat that there was only Colorado spirits on the menu up there. Got drinks here with some friends the other night while we were in town. We get up to the rooftop beer garden, another large party has just left one of the tables but it hasn't been cleaned yet. We're not sure who to flag down as it's quite busy, but eventually a server comes over and says, "So you guys are just going to stand around waiting for the table to be cleaned?" Okay, kind of odd considering that we're not going to clean it ourselves, but we thank her anyway and sit down once she cleans it. She says she'll be back to take our order. She comes back while we're still deciding, so we ask her to give us a bit more time. Five minutes after that, some of our party wanders over to the bar to order drinks. I think some of them also hit the bathroom and then just went to the bar straight after because it was closer. It was a miscommunication on our part and we should have all stayed so we could order from her. I don't think everyone realized she was coming back to take our order, it was quite loud in the bar so I guess not everyone heard her. But some of us stay behind so she can take our order. Eventually she comes back and asks us, "So some people in your group went to the bar to order drinks?" We say yes. She immediately says, "That's shitty," which surprises us as she goes on to say, "That's really shitty of you. You guys stood around and watched me clean this table and now your friends who aren't here are going to give their tip money to someone else at the bar. Whatever, I'll get a tab started for you." I get we made a mistake, we should have thought of her tip money and some of us just blanked while wanting to get some drinks and wandered off. But to cuss out the people remaining at the table who are going to order drinks from you is horrible and unprofessional behavior. That's way too extreme of a reaction for the mistake we made. I get we're at a sports bar and not a fine dining establishment, I'm just asking to not get verbally reamed out by my server over a genuine error on our part. She was acting like she did us the biggest favor by cleaning a table we didn't dirty when we're coming in to get some drinks. It's her job to clean that table whether or not we're here. If she had been nicer and explained that she would've appreciated it if we had all stayed to order, we would've called our friends back immediately and apologized. Or at least tipped her more generously to make up for the lost money. But we were so shocked by her swearing at us that we just quietly ordered and let her storm off. That shit was a mood-killer from her in an otherwise nice bar with good drinks. We heard from our friends that the bartender was actually really nice when they came by. I now wish we had all gone to the bar and not given her a dime. When our other friends showed up later, we still had them order with her even though we would have been well within our rights to buy drinks from someone who didn't cuss us out our party fifteen minutes before. If you get Kaitlin B as your server, walk the fuck out or you'll have a bad time. She's awful. And those of us at the table felt pressured into tipping 20% for her just because we didn't want her to throw an even bigger tantrum. I'm giving two stars purely for the quality of the drinks and ambiance, but Kaitlin ruined our experience overall. read more

This might be the worst place in Denver. The service is so poor and slow, we waited for 20 min and the food never came. The restrooms were disgusting and at the end the waitress told us that "we sucked" after not leaving a tip because... I didn't get to eat. Love this spot! It's one of the few places nearby that has a rooftop, so it's a go-to for me and my friends. The ambiance is fun, even on weekday nights (as long as it's not raining). The food isn't anything to write home about, but drinks are reasonably priced and good! Lots of local beers to try. Love the peach sour they have currently. read more

This place was one of my favorite locations while visiting Denver. The way it's decorated, and the overall ambience of this place was worth the walk in flurry. I was obsessed with the fact that their upstairs bar had the option to sit inside or go outside with there fire pits. They had a huge selection of on tap craft beers and even offer samples. I believe they sell food but we didn't order any to confirm. The outside view of the city was spectacular and I will definitely be back my next time in town. Overall Rating: 10/10 read more

This place the last two trips the rooftop was closed. It on my third trip this was my go to after 1up. This place is a serious vibe! I love the rooftop view and you can see the buildings and the main area of Colorado. They play underground hip hop! From Joey badass to the roots to tribe called quest to digable planets ! Like old school hip hop and it's awesome! My bartender Jenessa was very informative, friendly and offered great service. The food was good! I had the wings with their special company rub and let me say I literally ate one and had to put it down so I wouldn't kill my dinner lol. When you walk into Hayters, you are greeted by a door person who checks your ID. Immediately turn left upon accepted entry and head uo the stairs ti the rooftop, this is Tap Fourteen. It looks like an outdoor sports bar with views of downtown and Coor's Field; which is only 2 blocks away. There is plenty of seating on the rooftop patio, from table tops to picnic tables with huge umbrellas. There's a gas fireplace, DJ booth, and a bunch of TVs. This is the place for OHIO ST football fans. Fortunately, we were there to watch the Colorado Buffaloes game. They might want to allow 1 TV for that, as this is Colorado & strike while the iron is hot right now. There weren't many Ohio St. Fans there today, probably bc they were at the Colorado Buffaloes game in Boulder. The food is great, it's the same menu & kitchen as Hayters. The bar is a little different. They have a lot of different selections of craft beers upstair, which is amazing. If you love craft beers, this is nice to have with a nice Colorado breeze. The staff are amazing, very friendly and the service is quick! If you don't know what you want just ask they are great at giving you recommendations. read more

If I could give this a zero, I would - the Assistant General Manager, Dyllan, is the most laughably unprofessional human being. There's absolutely no need for such unprovoked, rude behavior. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone short of my worst enemy. If you're in LoDo this is a cute spot that has a rooftop bar that you can hang out with friends. They have a wide variety of beer so if that is your vibe, you will definitely get that here. It is a late night spot so it's great for meeting up with friends on the weekend and enjoying a beer or even watching a game at the bar. The service was good when we went here and they were very responsive. I did not try any of the food but I did enjoy the beer that I got here. If I'm in the area, this is definitely a spot that I would return to again. Especially now in the summer months. It's great to be able to have an outdoor rooftop area. read more

Great stop before a Rockies game or a night on the town! They have a ton of food options, but we chose to share some appetizers before a game and try their beer selection. The watermelon sour was refreshing and delicious! The food and drinks came out quick and it all tasted good just normal pub food. The atmosphere is fun and lively! The rooftop was seat yourself and they had plenty of shade and even misters which was great because it was so hot when we got there! An interesting note, they have a bathroom attendant, not something I was expecting as it was 4 pm, and it doesn't match the vibe of this place. Really enjoyed visiting Tap Fourteen! I went for a drink/food after work with a large group on a weekday and it was very easy to find a spot on the roof. The roof is well laid out and offers really nice views of the city. There are umbrellas and misters to help keep you cool when the sun is still up and the servers removed the umbrellas once the sun went down for more of an open air feel. I loved the variety of food and non-alcoholic drink options on the menu and enjoyed a delicious NA margarita and appetizer nachos that was filling enough to split with my partner for dinner. The security guard was yelling at us to leave and threatening to call the cops as we were trying to figure out what to do and where to go. He didn't ask us any questions or offer any help to get her out. I understand his responsibility to make sure the space is under control, but to show a little consideration and aid to our friend, would've been nice. She was the last of our group to arrive and was there for 45 minutes and had two drinks. After one drink and a green tea shot, she was unresponsive. I don't know if it was an employee or another customer that violated my friend, but I do blame the bar and the so called "security" team that's supposed to ensure safety. We visited Tap Fourteen on a Saturday afternoon a few hours before a Rockies game. It's a block away from the stadium. It was busy but had a great vibe. Music playing, bumpin bar, misters and a good friendly crowd (lots of young adults). If you're trying to drink and chill, this place is perfect. Their spirits list is impressive- many vodkas and gins that are local to Colorado. Same with the beer. The dry rub chicken wings were AMAZING. They were slightly smokey, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Bonus: they came with a big ol' cup of ranch. The beef nachos were less desirable. 1/2 the chips were completely soggy before we got to them (and there were 4 of us working on these nachos). The queso on top of the nachos was mighty tasty though, I will go for chips and queso next time instead of the nachos. I felt very old and out of place here but that's on me since I don't go out to bars much anymore. Tap Fourteen was packed (at least upstairs) on the Friday before Christmas. We opted to sit outside even though it was getting chilly just to have some space and be able to talk to the couple we were with. The views made it even better of course and plenty of room for our entire family. My cousin brought us to this rooftop bar and we were very happy with the service and the ambiance. We were visiting Denver, and learned about Tap Fourteen online. After doing some research, we found out that this place was in walking distance of our hotel, has a rooftop bar, and an awesome beer list. Who can ask for more? After a short walk, we arrived around 7:30 pm. There was hardly anyone downstairs, but the rooftop bar was popping!! At first there were no tables, but a nice couple let us share the end of their table. We moved once something else opened. The night we went, it was a hot, June evening, but luckily a lot of the tables had umbrellas and the owners had water spritzers set up to help keep customers cool. The beers I ordered were really good. My favorite was the Graham Cracker Porter from Denver Beer Company. While we were there, we also ordered the nachos. I kept with the veggie option, and it was a huge plate. My husband and I shared the plate, and there was so much, we couldn't finish. Great place, great service, great beer! read more

A beer bar with a rooftop with rotating Colorado beers on draft? Yes, please! This place has it all. A nice rooftop area with picnic tables, misters (to keep you cool!), and umbrellas. It was comfortable even on a super sunny day. Our waitress took our orders (menu is via QR code) and I tried a refreshing peach beer that was of course brewed in CO. They also made sure to provide us with ice water (which will become your best friend while in Denver) and kept the refills coming. First off our waitress was great. However 0/10 experience. During St Paddy's day my friend's drink was spiked. She was unresponsive and vomiting. Security staff harassed us and kicked us out after threatening to call the police. We were trying to get her out but security gave us no time to figure it out. We were kicked out to the sidewalk and we had to rely on the kindness of strangers. If this was done to her it could have happened to another person or persons that night. We are lucky we were able to get her help. The drink was brought over by waitstaff. The treatment we received while she was in an active medical emergency was abysmal and frankly embarrassing. We visited Tap Fourteen for the fun and lively rooftop on such a sunny day. It was the place to be, to watch sports, have a drink and for enjoying the weather. Once you walk into the building Tap Fourteen is in there's a sign directing you to the stairs, leading up to the rooftop bar. On a Saturday the place was pretty busy, as there were a ton of college football games on the multiple tubes. And for such a sunny day, all of the tables that had an umbrella or shade were taken. However, they have misters everywhere on the patio! I ordered a Paloma Margarita and it was solid, with plenty of tequila! The grapefruit juice was a nice contrast to the tequila. But if cocktails aren't your thing, they have plenty of beers on tap, as the name suggests. Plus, food. Tap Fourteen was a fun rooftop to check out, especially if you need a place to pre-funk for the Rockies game, as it's super close to the field. read more

Ok this place was pretty neat. It's a rooftop bar in downtown Denver and you can get a nice little view of Coors Field (just the stadium) from a few tables up here. I didn't get food, just had a cocktail since they had a selection of local gins, which I couldn't resist trying. The staff was very friendly and helped me pick out a popular gin. From what I experienced, I couldn't see how this place would be any less than 5-stars. This is definitely a place I'd love to come back to during my next visit. read more

We visited Tap Fourteen a couple of weeks ago, and had a good time overall. It was pretty packed on the rooftop with good music playing and the vibes were nice. However, we came back yesterday and were utterly disappointed. We ordered from the bar and found a table. Multiple servers then skipped over us, never asking if we'd like water, let alone saying hi, and did not bother to come by to see if we needed another drink or refill on anything. It was clear as day that the servers slighted us since we originally went to the bar and they wouldn't get the tip. Not only is this bad customer service, but it's just a bad overall look as another table experienced the same thing when we were getting ready to leave. If the servers really care that much, then they should keep an eye on the door to greet people and offer them a seat to take their order. read more
