Perfect divey Irish pub next to Coors Field. No food just booze so you know it's good. Also perfectly lit, on the dark side. Very friendly staff as well. I will be back.

Amazing time at Scruffies for their St.Patrick's day celebration, as they had a great band and they provided portapotties and the drinks were flowing. They were pouring them quickly to be sure. The atmosphere was rowdy and music was good! Thanks for putting on this event.

Scruffy Murphy's out did themselves. The pickle shots are nothing short of delectable. Srufffy's bring all the vibes. Especially on st pattys. Come here if you want to have a good time. Take a pickle shot at my funeral please.

Cheers to the best St Pattys day vibes!! Love coming here to celebrate St Pattys. Be ready for a big and fun crowd and if you don't like noise go home. Amazing vibe and can't wait for the next time we stop by. No opinion on food/drinks outside of st Pattys at this time.

    Police Call Box! Fun touch.

Final stop on my girlfriend's bachelorette bar-crawl: Scruffy Murphy's! When our dwindling group of 5 made it here I was surprised, given that it was a Saturday night, to find that it was not as busy as neighboring bars. The music was the traditional mainstream hits. So we made our way to the dance floor and proceeded to dance the last bit of the night away. Once we had enough dancing, we ordered a couple rounds of mixed shots. Our bartender was on point and very friendly. She mixed up a pretty delish Scooby Snack (at least I think that's what we had). The bar top was covered in pennies and an acrylic coating. Super cool! There was a police call box in the area separating the two main parts of the pub. While it's a neat touch - it's not very Irish (IMO). There was a quarter pool table and an assortment of items decorated the exposed brick walls. Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub was a great addition to our evening of bachelorette shenanigans. Def a place I would stop by again! **Pro-Tip: Come while the kitchen is still open and indulge in a tasty looking item off their food menu. Shepard's Pie anyone?

Favorite stop to drink at while in Denever from Vegas. Although they didn't have karaoke like they had before covid, I'm hopeful they bring it back as it was a great spot! Bartender was awesome and definitely worth the stop with a fellow veteran!

Most of the staff know up by site, if not by name, and they are usually a fun and friendly group. My regular drink order is a Car Bomb and a Jameson and Ginger, single, short with a lime. My food order varies, but I do love their fries, and their ranch dressing ain't bad either. The Falafel Wrap is really good for an Irish place. The Grilled Cheese is phenomenal, even without the bacon. The Beer Cheese soup is also excellent without the bacon, actually. They also have White Bean Chili that is vegetarian (vegan possible), which I have tried but found too spicy for my taste. They also have Seitan Wings... I love them and get them often, but they are more like seitan nuggets than wings. Easier to eat though IMO. Chad's had many of the meatier fare, but he'd have to tell his own story on that subject. For dessert, the Bread Pudding is to DIE for! Thankfully, it's also quite filling, so I rarely end up eating it all. If you love 'Pub Vibes', definitely check this place out! If you aren't into a noisy bar/pub atmosphere, probably don't come here on a weekend or most weeknights. With the lively chatter and sometimes live music, it lives up to the Irish Pub name!

Stopped in on what turned into a pretty busy Friday night, and the place is interesting to say the least. It's a converted old house, so all of the dining/bar areas are tucked into different rooms, around corners, up and down stairs. Ended up sitting at the bar in the first room. The bartenders were friendly, knew the regulars and their orders, and did their best with the rush. Oddly, there is a "seat yourself" policy, but because of the quirky layout that seems to involve wandering room to room, on multiple levels, until you find a spot. At one point, one of the bartenders was told there were no more seats, and she replied to the customer "Yeah, we might need to start a list. Try upstairs and we'll get to you." Later on, she said to the other bartender "I should check upstairs to see if I have any tables up there"- bad news for anyone seated up there. As far as the menu, it's pretty large and all over the place. I'd expected Irish staples and while they were there, I was surprised to see items like a falafel wrap, Buffalo wings, spinach-Artichoke dip, a shrimp basket, ribs... when I see a menu like that, I'm always prepared for pre-made food from some distributor and nothing special. Ended up getting the Shepherd's Fries, Beer Cheese Soup and Irish Castro (Irish spin on a Cuban). The fries were good, and the portion was MASSIVE. 3-4 people could easily split them as a large appetizer. The soup was pretty good, but nothing great, as was the Irish Castro. The one ding on the Castro is the pickles are huge, and pretty overpowering. All-in-all, it's a fun and kitschy place, and I see why the regulars come back. Decent food, friendly service, a little disjointed, but I would describe it as a good place to hang with some friends and catch a game. It's not really a traditional Irish Pub with yummy Irish staples.

In fact, we didn't eat anything that wasn't well seasoned, cooked to order and authentically British. Not an easy find, if you ask me. We sat at their bar, chatted with the bartender - who was really friendly and checked on us often. The place was packed, but we got in quickly and you'd never know they were popping. Their cocktails were amazing and after some chit chat about what I liked and didn't, the suggestions were fabulous. Loved the British decor as well. Such a fun place. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere but that's not a bad thing. Lots of parking and outdoor space to wait for a table or pull up a chair. The service is a little stiff and slow but what can you expect from a pub style restaurant. It can get pretty busy inside especially around holidays so definitely make a reservation if you plan on having a big party or don't want to sit at the bar. As far as English/Irish food goes this the only serious contender in the area, i haven't found another UK restaurant that quite mimics the pub atmosphere as well as this one. Check it out for some stick to your ribs goodness!

Any time I go to Denver for a conference, I try to make it out here. I went in the middle of the day for lunch and there were a couple tables and people at the bar, but not crazy busy. Staff is informative and friendly. We got the: 1) Chips and Curry: -It's house made fries and curry sauce. -I'm used to Japanese curry, so I'm always a little bit taken aback when the curry has a bit of sweetness to it, but delicious either way. Slightly sweet and savory curry with lots of layered spices to it. Went deliciously with the chips. 2) English Breakfast: -Comes with 2 eggs (your choice for the style), rashers (thick cured pork), bangers (sausage), baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and we added some black pudding for $2. -Always get English breakfast when you get a chance to. Filling and comforting. Great diversity of textures and savory, salty, and umami flavors. Gotta get the black pudding too. 3) Scotch Egg: -Comes with spicy mustard. -I LOVE scotch eggs. I'm a low key hardboiled egg enjoyer, so the addition of the sausage layer around with the deep fried breadcrumbs and dipped in mustard? Divine.
