Loved it! A friend and I visited for lunch on a Friday. Service was great. The bar selection was great. And, the fish-n-chips were great! We just happened to walk in for a "football" game. Great crowd!

    YNWA great British/soccer theme.

Had a great time here. The fish and chips were amazing, and green chili was out of this world. Great beer selection. Atmosphere was wonderful. If you are a football (soccer) fan and are in Denver this is your place. Bartender was great.

Dinner at British Bulldog; the Mile High Burger is DELICIOUS with the roasted cerrano cream cheese and raspberry jam, the perfect combination of spicy and sweetness! They serve british and indian food. Friendly staff and prompt service, the perfect place for a late night meal.

We came for the weekend breakfast - a legit British breakfast. We weren't disappointed. Soccer is life for these folks and we were here for it. We watched part of a few games and cheered teams on. Such a fun morning. Our bartender was friendly and laid back. The bar back was centuries old and the wooden seating areas and murals were the same. Soooo much history here. Way cool. And, on top of that: our breakfast was really tasty. Even though I was a bit nervous to try the black pudding, turns out it was really good. Nothing like I expected. Some folks call it blood pudding as well. You can see why I was worried, haha. Def would recommend and have again. Not at all what comes to mind for an American breakfast but we left very satisfied and full.

British Bulldog is a divey English pub off of Broadway and Stout St. just on the outskirts of RiNo. To be quite frank, considering I'm in this area all the time I can't believe it's taken me five years to visit. That changed over the weekend, with some strings attached along the way. One bartender on a Friday night. I rolled in late after a work event and was actually pleased with the setting. It wasn't too crowded and it felt very low key. I sat for 5 minutes at the bar before the bartender came back inside from smoking a cigarette. Really? I just have no tolerance for these kinds of things anymore. Am I becoming old and cranky in my 30's?! The best thing this place has going for it are their prices and portions. I ordered the fish and chips and with a big pint of beer and I was pleased what was in front of me. Fish and chips were good, not great. Nice, crispy crunchy exterior, though the fish was dry in the center. The fries were inedible and tasted off. It comes with coleslaw too and it was fine, though not necessary in my humble opinion. The bartender was weird, and safe to assume a little drunk. I planned to have another beer yet decided it was in my best interest to leave. Always a bummer when one person can make or break an experience. I'll also add that though you can find free street parking nearby, that it does get a little sketchy at night in the area. Maybe the British Bulldog had an off night, and maybe it's best to visit on a game day. But I won't be rushing back here considering there are some great English pubs in the city that I already really enjoy.

Starving late at night didn't want hotel food. We came here and had an amazing burger. The Mile High Burger hit all the right spots and I recommend the tots as the side. Typical pub atmosphere, easy walk from a business district downtown, and a friendly staff.

Good bar/pub fish and chips. No frills service and experience. Just what seems pretty consistent pub food.

Alright, listen...if you're ever in Denver, hungry, and not sure what to do get yourself to Wild…read moreCorgi Pub. Trust me on this. We kicked things off with the Tater Kegs basically five mega tots stuffed with bacon, chive, and cheddar. They were insanely good. I could've easily taken down another order, but I knew what was coming next... the wings. These bad boys are smoked for 12 hours, then fried up and dunked in house made sauces that taste like they've been perfected over time. We went with Kicking Bourbon (sweet with a little heat) and Alabama White Sauce (creamy, tangy perfection). The blue cheese and ranch are homemade...you can actually taste the difference and the fries? Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. To wash it down, I grabbed a local Kölsch on tap; icy cold, light, and spot-on with the wings. And the vibe? Perfect mix of chill and fun. The bartenders were super friendly, the music hit right, and the whole place just had that "local favorite" energy. Honestly, Wild Corgi Pub is one of those spots that doesn't try too hard it just nails it. Good food, good people, good beer. That's all you need. I'll definitely hit this spot again when we return for another weekend getaway!

Stopped here based on a Yelp review and didn't really know much about the place other than we heard…read morethe food was excellent. So, this place is outstanding across the board. The two guys working the bar, Josh and Jake, are super friendly and made us feel like they've known us forever. That was awesome. Such a great neighborhood bar vibe. There's a great selection at the bar. I tried the seasonal porter and went so far to have another when I finished the first one. Josh and I talked about porter beers for a bit. The food selection is great and the food itself was awesome. No complaints. Great sized portions, the Cubano Sandwich exceeded my expectations, and we had the stuffed tater tots (tater kegs?) as an appetizer. Again, outstanding. As mentioned, even though it was our first time there we were made to feel like some of the regulars through conversation and the like. The crowd is eclectic. And, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was fun to do a shot of Malört with the bartenders and some of the other folks sitting at the bar. Go here. One of the best experiences I've had in this type of establishment in years.

As someone who has been working with goats for quite a few years now this made our Denver trip list…read morestrictly due to name. How could we pass up a pub/bar that has goat in the name...? Well we couldn't and after exploring the botanical gardens and grabbing a beer at a brewery this was our chosen spot to grab a bite to eat! We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly, we did not have a drink so cannot speak to that. Food wise after quite a few days we both felt like being a little on the healthy side. We both decided on a chicken Cesar wrap, only difference is I grabbed fries and my wife had onion rings. In the end we agreed that fries were superior! Honestly the best fries of our trip so far! So crisp thanks to the breading used, that gave the perfect crunch. Onion rings were decent and the wraps were tasty. The vibe is dive bar/sports bar that I assume is a great spot for locals who live nearby. As the name implies they do have a decent amount of decor that is goat related. Two other patrons came in looking to watch a soccer game and the bartender made sure it was on for them. Like I said we cannot speak to the actual bar experience since we skipped on drinks but in our experience it was the perfect stop. May be a little bias in liking and appreciating the name.
