My sister and I came here for a late afternoon happy hour snack. It was not busy and we were seated immediately at a large booth. I ordered a Riesling and we shared the hot honey pepperoni flatbread pizza and an order of buffalo wings. The flatbread happy hour special is pretty solid- $8 instead of $14. It was fresh and hot. A little greasy, but it tasted good. I liked the wings as well but the portion seemed a little small for the price. Service was good and we enjoyed our meal. @azfitfoodfun read more

I came in alone and famished at 2:30 in the afternoon. Apparently, only two of those things were noticeable. I sat there long enough without a menu that the CUSTOMER NEXT TO ME finally handed me one--shoutout to her for unexpectedly joining the waitstaff. Eventually, one of the two bartenders appeared and took my drink order. About 15 minutes later, the drink arrived. Food, however, remained an elusive concept because he never came back to take my order. To be fair, he was extremely busy. There were other customers to attend to, people to socialize with, a computer system to stare at in visible confusion, and--most importantly--limes to cut. I don't know what those limes had that I didn't, but they received a level of attention and commitment I could only dream of. Meanwhile, I watched other guests receive service while I sat there wondering whether I needed to submit a formal application to order lunch. As the lone Black woman dining by myself, the difference in attention was hard not to notice. I can't tell you what was in his head, but I can tell you what happened: other people were waited on, while another customer had to give me a menu and neither bartender bothered to take my food order. Eventually, I accepted that lunch was not part of my dining experience and left. One star for the drink. Five stars to the random customer who apparently recognized that restaurants traditionally provide menus and take food orders. And my sincerest congratulations to the limes--I hope they're very happy together. read more

Nothing spectacular to write home about here, there are probably better places to find food on the 16th st strip. I ordered the bison burger (sans blue cheese crumbles) and fries, decent amount of food just nothing that really stood out about quality to exceed my expectations. Typical bar environment and service was adequate. read more

Service here was a bit slow, which was disappointing because by the time the food came out, we had to leave. We were here for a conference that was happening a few blocks away and were on a time crunch. There were few other customers, so I'm not sure why it took so long for our food to be served. But the server was really friendly and we grabbed out to-go boxes after taking a few bites of our food before heading out. The music is really loud and I'm not sure if it's just the vibes of the place but when we asked to be seated in a more quiet area, they told us that it was loud everywhere in the restaurant. read more

This is the place for a Sunday day of the National Football League. Henry's is ideal together with friends, colleagues, and/or family to watch games on the big screens or play shuffleboard or any of the other games. The staff here are super attentive and very accommodating. While I didn't try the food, their appearance and the empty plates were clues enough that game day crowd approved. Shout to the company sponsor Tingley for inviting us and thank you to the Henry's Tavern team for making us feel welcomed and spoiling us. read more

Atmosphere nice place. Waitress great! Cheese sticks were awesome and hot!! Meal not so much. Food took 40 minutes and arrived cold. Bison burger was well undercooked. Sent back to cook more and they sent out a new burger, this time hot but, the kitchen staff who delivered it just dropped it and left. Did not say a word. That's not normal. Trash can nachos were good but spicy. Asked for no jalapeño and they are in the sauce FYI. Waitress did not know that. Glad no food allergies. But they are good if you like spicy. We ordered 2 drinks and 1 glass came out not cleaned. It was easy to notice. I feel they should look at items before serving them up. They were not that busy for a Friday late afternoon. We were really nice about all of it as it was not our waitress fault and she asked if we wanted to speak to management. read more

Decent beer selection. The food was good but overpriced. I had the tacos. Generous portion but not worth the $$ Denver is getting more expensive every time I go. The 16th street mall is a lot cleaner than in previous years but still not a good place for families read more

We came here for lunch on a Monday. It wasn't crowded but there were other tables. The server was super sweet and helped us with recommendations. Husband got fish tacos and he really enjoyed them. They were huge tacos with big pieces of fish. I got the chicken pot pie and it was amazing! The crust was perfectly cooked and flaky. The service was quick. Came here after walking around 16th street shopping. Cute place on the corner with giant open windows so you can people watch. Service was good. My Salmon was extremely dry.... Almost not edible and my coworker said the ribeye was very fatty. (More than usual for that cut) Potato's were okay. Wished they came out hotter. Wedge salad & mozz sticks were great. I'd eat those again. Cute place to hang out and watch sports. read more

Great beer list! Would be fun to try them all. My husband had the smash burger and he said it was delicious!! It certainly looked good! I had the southwest chicken salad. I asked for no tortilla strips and dressing on the side. It came with no tortilla strips, no cheese, and no avocado. The dressing container had bbq sauce on it which was kind of gross. Our table was a little sticky when we sat down and it was really loud, so the ambiance fell a little short for my liking. The manager who was working was very nice and helpful; he is the reason for 4 stars and not 3. read more

Hostess was welcoming. We went to sit at the bar and there were only single seats next to others. There were open high tops next to the bar so we sat down on one. He went to the restroom. A server goes to the bar and I just smile because I do that. She comes over and starts to question me about seating. When she asked if we wanted to sit at the bar I said yes. She aggressively stated that we weren't sitting at the bar and she'd have to go let the hostess know. I told her we were just going to have drinks and leave for a show. But she went to get menus and was really put out. When he came back he caught the tail end of the server's statement and asked what was going on. I told him she was peeved that we were sitting there and it wasn't the bar. He cancelled the order and we moved to the bar as a couple left. He didn't feel we should have to be subjected to her attitude. The bartender cleaned the counter top and brought menus. We ordered drinks and sat for a minute. The Moscow mule was well made and went down smooth. Service was much better at the bar. Restaurant wasn't busy. Restroom was fine. Don't think we will be recommending this place because who wants attitude? Lots of places to choose from. Go to another restaurant or bar. Nothing special about this place to warrant the attitude. read more

I really liked the location and ambience of this sports bar. The TVs were big and clear, but it was a little disappointing that there was no sound playing. My favorite part was the open windows and natural light which made the place feel bright and inviting. The hostess wasn't friendly, but our bartender made up for the poor first impression with her great service. The food didn't look very appetizing, so we decided to head somewhere else to eat. Overall, would come back again just for sports. read more

One of the worst dining experiences I ever had. Came in around 5 and ordered a draft beer on their happy hour menu. The draft beer didn't arrive until after 6 even though others at the table received mixed drinks. Got a water when I walked in and never got another fill up during my hour stay. At one point I thought they had forgot about me and was about to walk out because of the lack of service. Came here for conscience and realize that was my mistake. read more

Loud and packed atmosphere. Drinks were great. Food was decent for bar food. I came here with friends while in town for a conference. We made reservations because other places were books out. That ended up being a good choice because this place was packed! There is a variety of seating options once you go up a few stairs. Tvs are along the major walls. They have a good selection of cocktails. We ordered all different options from the mojito to the smokey Bourbon. I got the peach sidecar. It was sweet, delicious and very strong. We also ordered all different dishes. The trash can nachos for a laugh because they are dumped out of a large can. The fish tacos had good toppings but there was a bone in the fish. I got the bison burger with waffle fries. I realized some time later the waiter never asked for the temperature on the burger. Thankfully it came out as medium rare which is what I would have ordered. Had to send it back initially though because it didn't have the waffle fries and there's an upcharge for them. Burger was great despite the bacon being very undercooked. The service was chaotic but fast. We had 3 different people trying to take our order. I don't know if that is how they usually do it or if there was a mix up about who was assigned to us. read more

This Tavern has its hits and misses. My meal of chicken tortilla soup and ceaser salad was a miss. The soul was too watery and I couldn't find any chicken if at all. The ceaser salad was much to be desired. The dressing is what makes it and the dressing was a miss. On the other hand my friend had a salmon and pasta dish. She couldn't quit raving about it. The server was very kind and attentive. And the ambiance of the establishment was laid back. read more

My group was here in Denver for a conference and we had a big group of 32 people. We coordinated with Susan and she did an absolutely amazing job accommodating to our menu preferences and budget. We ordered Caesar salad, Chicken Parmesan Sliders, Oven Roasted Chicken, Brocollini, Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Mac & Cheese, Veggie Pizza, Spinach Dip and Tortilla Chips! The Oven Roasted Chicken was a bit dry, but I paired it with the spinach dip and it was really good. Odd combo I know. I would recommend ordering the Brussel spouts bc they were very juicy and savory. Also the Mac& Cheese and Sliders were favorable with our group. Shout out to the servers who kept refilling our waters and check with us. We loved the service and the food. We had so many leftover that we just took it to go. My husband and I were in town for a baseball game and walked to Henry's from our hotel. The atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. We sat at the bar where we were served by Adriana. She was AMAZING! I normally hate sitting at the bar but she was so welcoming, personable and inviting! She took time to chat with us about the restaurant & the food. She offered to go get the chef so we could tell him how amazing our food was. We never got to chat with him as they were offering a new menu and he was SLAMMED, but we asked her to tell the chef, Colter Wilkie, that his food was beyond delicious and made our visit memorable. Now for the food... My husband got ribs and I had the killer grilled cheese. I do not like ribs. I never eat them. I never order them. My husband insisted that I try them..... Let me tell you, they were PHENOMENAL! Don't worry, the killer grilled cheese was just as PHENOMENAL! The cheese curds were perfectly placed and the sandwich was evenly toasted. When came the night of an awesome UFC fights all night. Once we left from dinner my buddy found this spot and thought we should try it out. It wasn't bad at all but for whatever reason they stopped serving alcohol at 10pm. Look I am from Texas we are not used to that kind of treatment with alcohol. Needless to say to we had a wonderful time still. We had to leave because all of us were starting to fall asleep. Lots of options on the beer menu but not all available. I ended up choosing a Sierra Nevada but was looking forward to a local brew. We split a Cobb salad and grilled chicken club. The salad came with an oil/vinegarette dressing (forgot to ask for the dressing on the side). It had a fair amount of toppings. The chicken club was served on a sour dough bread. It also had lots of toppings. Both were good. It was a nice combo to split among two people. Service was fine. The atmosphere is of a sports bar. Lots of TVs and people cheering their fav team. Bathrooms were clean. Liked the exposed brick. The 16st mall is pretty dead so this was a nice option on the far end. read more

Food was fine but boy was the service surly. I was there during happy hour and they sat me without a happy hour menu. Nor did my server mention that they were on happy hour. I ordered a $16 cocktail only to later overhear another server mention happy hour and discover that my same drink was only $9. When I asked the other server if I could have a happy hour menu he responded with a dismissive "I'll get to it." They ultimately changed the price after I questioned it on the bill but did so in such a rude and dismissive manner that it makes me wonder if management actively encourages bad attitudes in their staff. read more
