I ordered a Riesling and we shared the hot honey pepperoni flatbread pizza and an order of buffalo wings. The flatbread happy hour special is pretty solid- $8 instead of $14. It was fresh and hot. I came in alone and famished at 2:30 in the afternoon. Apparently, only two of those things were noticeable. I sat there long enough without a menu that the CUSTOMER NEXT TO ME finally handed me one--shoutout to her for unexpectedly joining the waitstaff. Eventually, one of the two bartenders appeared and took my drink order. About 15 minutes later, the drink arrived. Food, however, remained an elusive concept because he never came back to take my order. To be fair, he was extremely busy. There were other customers to attend to, people to socialize with, a computer system to stare at in visible confusion, and--most importantly--limes to cut. I don't know what those limes had that I didn't, but they received a level of attention and commitment I could only dream of. Meanwhile, I watched other guests receive service while I sat there wondering whether I needed to submit a formal application to order lunch. As the lone Black woman dining by myself, the difference in attention was hard not to notice. I can't tell you what was in his head, but I can tell you what happened: other people were waited on, while another customer had to give me a menu and neither bartender bothered to take my food order. Eventually, I accepted that lunch was not part of my dining experience and left. One star for the drink. Five stars to the random customer who apparently recognized that restaurants traditionally provide menus and take food orders. This is the place for a Sunday day of the National Football League. Henry's is ideal together with friends, colleagues, and/or family to watch games on the big screens or play shuffleboard or any of the other games. Came here after walking around 16th street shopping. Cute place on the corner with giant open windows so you can people watch. Service was good. My Salmon was extremely dry.... Great beer list! Would be fun to try them all. My husband had the smash burger and he said it was delicious!! It certainly looked good! I had the southwest chicken salad. I asked for no tortilla strips and dressing on the side. It came with no tortilla strips, no cheese, and no avocado. The dressing container had bbq sauce on it which was kind of gross. Hostess was welcoming. We went to sit at the bar and there were only single seats next to others. There were open high tops next to the bar so we sat down on one. He went to the restroom. A server goes to the bar and I just smile because I do that. She comes over and starts to question me about seating. When she asked if we wanted to sit at the bar I said yes. She aggressively stated that we weren't sitting at the bar and she'd have to go let the hostess know. I told her we were just going to have drinks and leave for a show. But she went to get menus and was really put out. When he came back he caught the tail end of the server's statement and asked what was going on. I told him she was peeved that we were sitting there and it wasn't the bar. He cancelled the order and we moved to the bar as a couple left. He didn't feel we should have to be subjected to her attitude. The bartender cleaned the counter top and brought menus. We ordered drinks and sat for a minute. The Moscow mule was well made and went down smooth. Service was much better at the bar. Restaurant wasn't busy. Restroom was fine. Don't think we will be recommending this place because who wants attitude? Lots of places to choose from. Go to another restaurant or bar. That ended up being a good choice because this place was packed! There is a variety of seating options once you go up a few stairs. Tvs are along the major walls. They have a good selection of cocktails. We ordered all different options from the mojito to the smokey Bourbon. I got the peach sidecar. It was sweet, delicious and very strong. We also ordered all different dishes. The trash can nachos for a laugh because they are dumped out of a large can. The fish tacos had good toppings but there was a bone in the fish. I got the bison burger with waffle fries. I realized some time later the waiter never asked for the temperature on the burger. Thankfully it came out as medium rare which is what I would have ordered. Had to send it back initially though because it didn't have the waffle fries and there's an upcharge for them. Burger was great despite the bacon being very undercooked. The service was chaotic but fast. We had 3 different people trying to take our order. My group was here in Denver for a conference and we had a big group of 32 people. We coordinated with Susan and she did an absolutely amazing job accommodating to our menu preferences and budget. We ordered Caesar salad, Chicken Parmesan Sliders, Oven Roasted Chicken, Brocollini, Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Mac & Cheese, Veggie Pizza, Spinach Dip and Tortilla Chips! The Oven Roasted Chicken was a bit dry, but I paired it with the spinach dip and it was really good. Odd combo I know. I would recommend ordering the Brussel spouts bc they were very juicy and savory. Also the Mac& Cheese and Sliders were favorable with our group. When came the night of an awesome UFC fights all night. Once we left from dinner my buddy found this spot and thought we should try it out. It wasn't bad at all but for whatever reason they stopped serving alcohol at 10pm. Look I am from Texas we are not used to that kind of treatment with alcohol.
