This is the place for a Sunday day of the National Football League. Henry's is ideal together with friends, colleagues, and/or family to watch games on the big screens or play shuffleboard or any of the other games. The staff here are super attentive and very accommodating. While I didn't try the food, their appearance and the empty plates were clues enough that game day crowd approved. Came here after walking around 16th street shopping. Cute place on the corner with giant open windows so you can people watch. Service was good. My Salmon was extremely dry.... Great beer list! Would be fun to try them all. My husband had the smash burger and he said it was delicious!! It certainly looked good! I had the southwest chicken salad. I asked for no tortilla strips and dressing on the side. It came with no tortilla strips, no cheese, and no avocado. The dressing container had bbq sauce on it which was kind of gross. Our table was a little sticky when we sat down and it was really loud, so the ambiance fell a little short for my liking. Hostess was welcoming. We went to sit at the bar and there were only single seats next to others. There were open high tops next to the bar so we sat down on one. He went to the restroom. A server goes to the bar and I just smile because I do that. She comes over and starts to question me about seating. When she asked if we wanted to sit at the bar I said yes. She aggressively stated that we weren't sitting at the bar and she'd have to go let the hostess know. I told her we were just going to have drinks and leave for a show. But she went to get menus and was really put out. When he came back he caught the tail end of the server's statement and asked what was going on. I told him she was peeved that we were sitting there and it wasn't the bar. He cancelled the order and we moved to the bar as a couple left. He didn't feel we should have to be subjected to her attitude. The bartender cleaned the counter top and brought menus. We ordered drinks and sat for a minute. The Moscow mule was well made and went down smooth. Service was much better at the bar. Restaurant wasn't busy. Restroom was fine. They have a good selection of cocktails. We ordered all different options from the mojito to the smokey Bourbon. I got the peach sidecar. It was sweet, delicious and very strong. We also ordered all different dishes. The trash can nachos for a laugh because they are dumped out of a large can. The fish tacos had good toppings but there was a bone in the fish. I got the bison burger with waffle fries. I realized some time later the waiter never asked for the temperature on the burger. Thankfully it came out as medium rare which is what I would have ordered. Had to send it back initially though because it didn't have the waffle fries and there's an upcharge for them. Burger was great despite the bacon being very undercooked. The service was chaotic but fast. We had 3 different people trying to take our order. We ordered Caesar salad, Chicken Parmesan Sliders, Oven Roasted Chicken, Brocollini, Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Mac & Cheese, Veggie Pizza, Spinach Dip and Tortilla Chips! The Oven Roasted Chicken was a bit dry, but I paired it with the spinach dip and it was really good. Odd combo I know. I would recommend ordering the Brussel spouts bc they were very juicy and savory. Also the Mac& Cheese and Sliders were favorable with our group. My husband and I were in town for a baseball game and walked to Henry's from our hotel. The atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. We sat at the bar where we were served by Adriana. She was AMAZING! I normally hate sitting at the bar but she was so welcoming, personable and inviting! She took time to chat with us about the restaurant & the food. She offered to go get the chef so we could tell him how amazing our food was. We never got to chat with him as they were offering a new menu and he was SLAMMED, but we asked her to tell the chef, Colter Wilkie, that his food was beyond delicious and made our visit memorable. Now for the food... My husband got ribs and I had the killer grilled cheese. I do not like ribs. I never eat them. I never order them. My husband insisted that I try them..... When came the night of an awesome UFC fights all night. Once we left from dinner my buddy found this spot and thought we should try it out. The salad came with an oil/vinegarette dressing (forgot to ask for the dressing on the side). It had a fair amount of toppings. The chicken club was served on a sour dough bread. It also had lots of toppings. Both were good. It was a nice combo to split among two people. Service was fine. The atmosphere is of a sports bar. Lots of TVs and people cheering their fav team. Food was fine but boy was the service surly. I was there during happy hour and they sat me without a happy hour menu. Nor did my server mention that they were on happy hour. I ordered a $16 cocktail only to later overhear another server mention happy hour and discover that my same drink was only $9. When I asked the other server if I could have a happy hour menu he responded with a dismissive "I'll get to it." They ultimately changed the price after I questioned it on the bill but did so in such a rude and dismissive manner that it makes me wonder if management actively encourages bad attitudes in their staff. read more

I was able to get a seat by the bar where I could watch the NBA playoffs going on. I ordered the boneless chicken wings with an old fashioned. Everything came out quickly and was wonderful. The wings were filling and delicious. The drink was strong and hit the spot. The only negative I had was when the waitress brought the bill it did not include the happy hour prices. Good thing I noticed this or I would have been stuck paying double the cost. I mentioned it to her and it took a while to even everything out in order to bring it back down to happy hour prices. The atmosphere was energetic, with people either enjoying their meals in the restaurant section or hanging out at the bar, with TVs all over the place, showing live and prerecorded sporting events. Unfortunately the food did not match the ambiance. The fries were overcooked, the tacos were cold, and the wings were ok. We just arrived from San Diego and were looking for a good dinner. Again, the service was great. The ambiance was very energetic. They close at 9 pm, and we arrived a little before 8:30, so my hope is that the food was not rushed because of this. read more

Terrible service when I went here the other night. It was not that busy and we sat at the bar. We got our food and had no utensils. At least 5 employees walked by too quickly for me to get their attention (including a manager) and the bartender was nowhere to be seen, never checked on me. I finally had to get up and go to the host stand to start eating my meal. I've worked in the industry and have never set food down without checking if they at least have something to eat it with. For all the times I have been downtown, I've never taken opportunity to dine at Henry's. Tonite was a pleasure to have enjoyed dinner before a show. So many great things to rave about. The food fresh (I'm very particular about a salad and the greens were just that...FRESH), the atmosphere fun and our server Estrella so wonderful and delightful. The place was busy so it was expected our food would take some time. We gave ourselves 2hours and it worked perfectly. Estrella was very apologetic with the delay but once dinner arrived the chili was hot and the salad pretty delish. The portions are very decent, very much in line to the prices. I'm not only particular about my salad but also, cleanliness. The establishment was well kept, including the ladies room. Well stocked, simple and modern decor, I was very impressed. Bravo to the staff and management. Henry's has a telly everywhere so it's easy and convenient to catch up on sports, the news, even the Chive TV channel. They also have a private room for larger parties. Huge recommendation to reserve via OpenTable. The staff stay busy so it's easier to reserve a table online over calling. Henry's is convenient to the Pavillions Parking Garage (they do not validate however) and within walking distance to the Paramount, both of which were prime reasons we chose to dine at Henry's. After our wonderful dinner experience, we are definitely going to keep this place in mind for future preshow dinner and/or drinks. read more
