Conveniently located in the central market. Came in middle of the day on a Thursday and there were only a few people in line. It moved quickly so I was probably in and out in less than 10 minutes. They have such a large selection and everything looks beautiful. This can make decisions tough! I grabbed a nice variety of pastries and everything was absolutely fantastic. The peach Kouign Aman in particular was very very good. I don't think you can make a bad choice.
Izzio Bakery was such a treat! I originally stopped in just for the pastries and desserts, but after seeing and smelling the food coming out of the kitchen, I'll definitely have to come back for a meal. I picked up a cupcake and a few croissants to enjoy with my morning coffee the next day. Well...that was the plan. My husband couldn't resist and ate one of my pastries before I had the chance! Of course, I had to replace it. The cupcake was absolutely delicious; moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The croissants, chocolate and almond; were equally impressive and paired perfectly with my morning coffee. They were buttery, flaky, and exactly what you hope for from a good bakery. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just something sweet, Izzio Bakery is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back to try more of the menu, and next time, I'll be keeping a closer eye on my pastries!
My name is Izzy O so it was legally required for me to stop in and grab some pastries at Izzio! The roulettes were definitely the most delicious of the pastries we got, we had a dulce de leche one and raspberry cheesecake. I will be dreaming of the raspberry cheesecake one. It has the perfect filling to croissant ratio. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Denver
I saw this place on a tiktok and KNEW I needed to come try them on a recent trip to Denver! If you are local, GET TO THIS PLACE! If you are visiting, GET TO THIS PLACE MULTIPLE TIMES! We went on our second to last day and I wish we had been able to go back!! This place is located in a food hall! Parking can be a bit tricky, so my boyfriend stayed in the car and I ran out to get these amazing treats! The food hall is actually a pretty cool space and it appeared to be dog friendly. The service here was wonderful! They were so unbelievably sweet! 10/10 ladies! I got a strawberry cheesecake Cronut (croissant/doughnut) and 2 of their La Roulette's (chocolate and raspberry) When I tell you these were packed with filling, dripping down our faces as we drove to the Rocky Mountains haha! We didn't care at all!! These were SO GOOD!! The crunch/texture is just outstanding! The fillings were to die for! There is a reason these guys went viral! Definitely check this place out!!
If we're friends, you've probably heard me talk about the truffle chocolate cake here. I'm obsessed. But Izzio is way more than just dessert. It's actually a great spot for a casual brunch or just grabbing a pastry and calling it a meal, which I fully support. The space inside Denver Central Market makes it easy to pop in and hang out for a bit. We tried a few things and everything was really solid. The Eggs Benedict on a croissant stood out, and you can tell they take their baking seriously. Their "Queens" (their version of a kouign-amann) are especially worth trying. They also use high quality, locally sourced ingredients, and it shows in the flavor. Go for the cake, but definitely stay for more.
While visiting family we ventured out to the Central market in Downtown Denver to check out a few places in the same area. We grabbed a coffee at Crema Bodega and stepped over to Izzio to marvel at all of their delicious and amazing looking pastries. Mama Mia! What incredible work they offer and taste just as good as they look. We picked up an almond chocolate croissant that was so fresh and light served warm from the oven it was so incredible I forgot to take a photo. Trust me when I say it was Semplicemente delizioso! Come to the Central Market and be amazed at their work and flavors, you won't be disappointed and very reasonable. Hardest part was picking from their items, so be prepared to take a few home with you. Bravissimo Izzio.
A cute little bakery inside an indoor food stop, some savory/lunch options but also plenty of sweets. I got the raspberry cheesecake roulette pastry and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was also helpful when it came to recommendations, (I couldn't decide between raspberry or chocolate, lol) 10/10

Location was so busy and chaotic slightly overstimulating! But the desserts were so good! Would highly recommend. Such sizable desserts and the cream inside of these are truly dreamy.

She saw a viral video about this crème brûlée croissant. In it, the guy said you have to try it because it's the best pastry ever. I can confirm. It is the best pastry ever. Like holy moly. Let me just... take a moment. Because this is insane. The pastry cream/filling was delicious and honestly, probably the best thing I've tasted. It wasn't too sweet but was just enough to balance the caramelized sugar on top. Which added another texture! You have the crunch of the sugar, the soft filling, and the flaky croissant bottom. I mean, bread bowls? Croissant bowls! We ate this whole thing and it was just so good. The line moved really quick and the cute vibes of the Denver Central Market in the background? Perfect! I want to try everything in their pastry case but if I went back, I'd have to get this again. I'd be crazy not to!
This is 1,000% worth the hype I have seen online. The food was so fresh and delicious. Their croissant had a finishing salt that was paired so well with the buttery crust- it's hard to picture a croissant with a new flavor but wow did they master it. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is counter service and you take your food to a table in central market- really fun and great place to be!
I have been addicted to spiral croissants for quite some time now and there has only been one place that makes these delicious baked goods at a very high quality level. However, after visiting Izzio Bakery, I believe I have found something even greater. Their spiral croissants (la roulette) have unique and tasty flavors outside of the ordinary chocolate. I ordered the matcha cheesecake and creme brulee and every bite was dreamy. The flavor and texture are just so well-made. I hate that I don't live in Denver to experience this on an occasional basis. Izzio Bakery also offers other baked goods and breakfast meals. My friends ordered their eggs benedict and thought it was very solid and delicious. If you live in or visiting Denver, please make a visit to this place - highly recommend!
Colorado Queen Pistachio was super salty. The pastry itself was crunchy and flaky, it was baked well but the saltiness of the glaze was too much. I would not recommend unless you LOVE salt La Roulette Pistachio Cheesecake that was good. Both pastries hard to eat with how it fell apart with one bite but it had tasty sweet cheesecake custard. I would get this again.

Located in the Denver Central Market, Izzio Bakery's long line is certainly worth waiting in. I'm a sucker for great pastries. Izzio has a massive selection of traditional and specialty options. While I would have liked to try one of everything, I settled on a strawberry cheesecake "Colorado Queen", which is their name for a traditional kouign-amann. The pastry was deliciously flaky and buttery, with a rich, velvety cream cheese topping and fresh strawberries on top. I was wildly impressed with the quality of the pastry. Based on the line, I would guess this place is consistently awesome. They also had a menu for savory options. The Denver Central Market is such a hip place and offers plenty of seating in the vibrant food hall atmosphere. I am bummed I didn't get more from Izzio. I have thought about this place a few times since leaving Denver. Certainly worth the visit! read more

crunchy, crispy baked perfection the eggs on brioche may look simple, but it was so fluffy and soft while still having a comforting, savory side the dulce de leche pastry, crème brulee croissant, and chocolate croissant were all fantastic the almond croissant had a little too much of almond extract for my taste amazing pastries overall read more
Since I had a disappointing experience by getting a dessert from one of the grocery chains yesterday, I was determined to find a good one from a solid place. I had an errand I needed to run in the neighborhood, I chose Izzio Bakery hoping to find a quality cake or pie or tart. Unfortunately however, it wasn't as great as I hoped it to be. I got me one of the Passion Fruit tarts and I didn't love it. Well, precisely speaking, it was mediocre at best. The tart crust was a bit soggy or too soft (or it got old or not so fresh as it had been sitting in the showcase for hours. I'm not quite sure.) I did taste the passion fruit but it somehow lacked something important where it tasted a bit bland. Maybe it needed to be a bit sourer. I paid $7 for this somewhat small tart and it sure was a money waster. Service was good at least; I got immediately assisted. Although I can't really speak about its ambience or cleanliness as it's in a market/building where it shares the space with different vendors, but their area wasn't dirty or anything. I thought I like this place or at least what I got here before was decent enough where I really didn't have anything negative to say about it. Not that I go here often to eat their baked goods or sweets, I think I will take a break from them for a bit before I give it another chance. It sure was a hit and miss situation. We headed to Denver Central Market to start our Valentine's Day with some of the best pastries in the city. Here is the breakdown of our experience at Izzio Bakery! The Atmosphere: We arrived right as the Denver Central Market was opening. Even though it had just started the day, it was already a bit busy! There was a line at the bakery since it was Valentine's Day, but it moved quickly. We only waited about 5 minutes. On a typical weekend, expect it to be a popular, buzzing spot! Price & Parking: -Price We spent $35 (including tip) for our spread. - Parking We found free street parking! It's definitely the way to go if you can snag a spot nearby. The Food: We picked up three different pastries to share, and they were all delicious: - The Heart Pastry: The star of the show! It was perfectly crisp and crunchy on the outside, filled with a delicious raspberry jam and smooth vanilla cream. - Ham & Cheese Pastry: A savory classic that was super filling. - Guava & Cheese Pastry: The perfect mix of sweet and tangy. Overall: This was a delicious and very filling way to start the day. Even with the holiday crowd, the wait was short and the quality great. My wife loves this spot and so do I. I appreciate that they are open late and their offerings are extensive. Great spot for a coffee date or late brunch. Their prices are on the higher end but good example of you pay for what you get type execution. read more

This is a wonderful bakery with a nice variety of pastries to choose from. It is located in the Denver Central Market and is a popular spot. I went here on a Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy. There was a line but it moved fast. I took my time deciding what I wanted to get as there were several good looking pastries I was interested in. The staff member attending to me was patient while I was deciding. After telling my time, I decided to get a Kouign-Amann, a Raspberry Cheesecake Roulette, a Lemon Meringue Tart, and a Croffle. All of the pastries were good. The Roulette was my most favorite. I hadn't had that before anywhere else. The flavor and texture were on point. Simply irresistible. The Lemon Meringue Tart was my next favorite. Creamy, tangy, delicious goodness. I received good service. The pastries were on the pricey side but well worth the purchase. The pastries were of high quality. This shop is definitely worth checking out when visiting Denver. read more
Must try Carrot Cake! We were visiting Denver and this bakery's carrot cake came highly recommended to us. Of course, we had to try it accordingly! The Carrot cake slice was huge, so we shared it among three people. The cake was very moist and you could tell that it was made with fresh pineapples and coconut flakes. The frosting was made with cram cheese, but it had the perfect creaminess yet not overly sweet. Definitely, worth the trip! Be advised thought that this location does not have very much seating especially in the cold weather. read more

Absolutely love this bakery. The case shows everything they have to offer and it all looks delicious. I'm slowly making my way through it all. Food comes out fast and can eat inside by the bar. Everyone is very nice in helping find what's good. Definitely a little chaotic just because it's in a smaller place but definitely with it. read more

I have wanted to try this bakery for the longest time. I was so excited to actually have the opportunity. While the staff was not the friendliest. They were busy chatting and hardly paid us any mind. I ordered the Caramel apple tart and the Creme Brulee Crown. Both were amazing and I highly recommend them. The Caramel Apple Tart was this small pastry. I am not sure but the dough was. It had perfect lamination of the dough but it was surprisingly soft. It had a mix of sweetness from the Caramel, tartness from the apples and a bit of salt from the dough. It was the perfect package. Not too sweet but just enough. The Creme Brulee Crown was my favorites. It was like a round Croissant that was topped with a cream custard layer that had the perfect torch to give it the brulee feeling. It was heavenly and probably the best pastry I have had to date. Brought a family of 6 people here and we all really enjoyed what we had. Ordering and going through the line was fast as was the delivery of some of the savory dishes we ordered. I tried the cookies and cream roulette, double chocolate cookie, and burrito. Both the roulette and cookie were delicacies and were easily a 10/10. The burrito was also fantastic. The market the bakery is within has a coffee spot, bar, ice cream, etc. A great place to go and meet friends or take a larger group. Overall, I loved Izzio and would happily go back and try more of their bakery items! read more

The pastries were so beautiful and fresh. I got the matcha cheesecake roll, raspberry bar, and the dulce de leche cruffin. The only thing I did not like personally was the dulce de leche cruffin. The cream had a similar texture to pudding and it was oddly a little too sweet for me. Everything else had the perfect texture and wasn't too sweet. I would definitely come here again. Note that it is in a food court style area so you may need to find available seating. read more
