I was craving some Boba tea and saw this on the map and had to stop by because of all the good reviews. Turns out they don't actually have any Boba, but they're milk. Tea options are unique and cover a range of amazing flavor combos. I went for the black sesame, it was absolutely incredible. They have an open " kitchen" if you will, grinding the Matcha by hand constantly, right in front of you. The entire vibe is very zen, it's a very small place but the entire front has very tall windows, giving it a larger field, and very natural, minimalist energy. Prices are pretty average a little under $10 for a drink

My favorite tea spot so far!! The tea drinks were so fresh & vibrant tasting. Very unique flavor options & not overloaded with sugar! Clean aesthetics!

FIRE matcha spot in Downtown Denver. ambiance is so minimalistic and clean. drink menu had lots of latte options, fruit tea options and a few desserts. not too much to be overwhelming but enough to want to go back and try something new. the cinnamon horchata matcha was INCREDIBLE, one of the best matchas I've ever had!

Not quite as impressed as last time, but maybe I ordered wrong. We got the golden yunnan cheese cream which had a nice salty cream layer but I was recommended to not stir it which was hard because you only tasted the cream. The tea itself tasted very fresh and had a lot of depth. Very similar to a boba milk tea flavor. I also tried the orange blossom matcha (not my favorite, the artificial orange flavor covered the matcha completely) and the orange creamsicle which just tasted like ice cream so how can it be bad.

A great tea spot! Inside is super serene with a few stools and open layout to be able to watch the drinks be crafted.

Another five stars for Milk Tea People! My husband just started working downtown, and on our walk to the light rail, he somehow has not been here yet. WHAT?!?!? If I worked this close, half my paycheck would be going to Milk Tea People. I got the Uber Cream and it was DELISH!!!!! I only wish I'd gotten a waffle. Next time! Cause I will def be back soon

Amazing drinks but pricey. Service is also great, they hand you your items once they're done making it. You can really taste the Jasmine in the ube drink. Hojicha is also really good. More of a grab and go place. Not much room to hang out inside

Whaaatttttt. How have I not been here!? Tucked away in the Base Camp marketplace is an extremely aesthetically pleasing milk tea shop! The decor is simple, clean, and really beautiful. I ordered the hojicha milk tea latte and it was delicious. Hojicha is so toasty and nutty and delicious and mixed with the milk and sweetness, it was utter perfection. I think I need to get it hot too! I also ordered the coconut ube waf chi. Waf what, you say? It's a mochi waffle. It's fantastic. You gotta try it. I love the texture of mochi and I love waffles so there was no way I wasn't going to love it. I ate the whole thing by accident. Hahaha. Ube and coconut is a perfect combo. The coconut ice cream was delish. The waffle texture was superb. I need to come back and try all of the other flavors. Needless to say, 10/10 recommend stopping by you guys.

I liked the creativity of the drinks, the sweet cream foam is good and the matcha itself is fragrant and had a very nice color! However, it did taste a bit watered down. Personal favorite is the Black Sesame! Overall, 7/10.

This is a cool little spot with tasty matcha! I like how many flavors they had. They blueberry lavender was really good but lacking blueberry flavor a little. The orange blossom matcha however was spot on! It was a really good drink, definitely will be back to try more. Good service too, the person who took our order was polite and quick!

This is by far the most expensive matcha I've ever had -- $10 for a matcha drink! There are other spots nearby that serve matcha, so I'm curious why this one is pricier . Someone did mention that matcha prices have gone up due to tariffs, so maybe it used to be cheaper. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha is very tasty. I also appreciate that they don't use much ice.

    Kendy Z.

Delicious and hand crafted and as delicious as top shops in China/Taiwan/CA/NY. So expensive for Denver though but they use very high quality ingredients. I come here twice a day when I visit. The ube drink is delicious, it's thick ube blended into the drink I also love any cheese foam drink, the tea flavor is super strong Wait time is quite long so order online! Clean interior with nice staff.

I tried one of the teas I was curious about as a cup since I was a bit cold from walking about (the Bi Tan Piao Xue jasmine green) and ended up buying a bag. The lady at the counter referred to it as "Uncle Iroh's tea" (I guess that's her head canon) and I thought that was adorable. Definitely bought a bunch of nice loose leaf teas here, LOL. I appreciate that the person at the counter let me browse pretty much uninterrupted. They have bagged tea leaves from all over the world and different types of teas too. Tea accessories like bags, cups, pots, and steepers. If you need to get a gift for a tea lover, this is probably the best place to do so since there's so many prepackaged and wrapped goods here. I got a milk tea here and I think based on the nature of this place, steeped teas and just mixing in milk and creamers, it was much more watered down than getting it at a regular boba place that has that kinda stuff prepared in advance, but if you're getting just straight tea, it's a better match up. My boyfriend got some smoky flavor tea from here and said it was something that's a bit more difficult to get unless you specifically do go to a tea house so that's a bonus. Workers answered all of our questions and were helpful throughout.

The location is in a historic building, so it's got a lot of visual interest, but it's also in the center of the sort of lobby area (not sure what to call it) and a bit tightly packed, so it also feels pretty exposed to whatever noises are going on, which isn't my favorite type of setting, but is certainly unique and would be enjoyable for those who don't mind. There was definitely a tour of the building that occurred during part of our tea, which brought some extra background noise, but not egregiously so. There was live piano for a time, as well, which was lovely, and the servers were quite nice. The tea service itself was good--my friend had called ahead and made the arrangements as she (being the local) was more familiar etc., and they were able to provide a vegan set for me and a gluten-free set for her (plus the normal set for her friend), and we all enjoyed the snacks. No idea if they are able to accommodate both vegan and gluten-free, but they might. Nothing was a standout to me, but I also liked everything on my tier well enough, which is itself an accomplishment. The tea was good as well, but as is typical in afternoon tea places, most of the variety comes from flavored teas, so if you prefer unflavored, your choices will be more limited (but there are still a handful to choose from). Overall, a really nice afternoon tea experience (if a bit on the expensive side), just be aware that if you have any dietary restrictions, arranging ahead by at least a day seems to be a must.

So make sure to plan accordingly if you would like the holiday afternoon tea November through January I did go on to open table and there was a cancellation which was relatively easy and straightforward to book. As a guy that never had afternoon tea, you definitely want to dress up. Atmosphere wise it's 90% women with maybe 10% families. I would absolutely recommend it if you have 4-Year-Olds and up. I got the signature experience which was $95 that includes 1T selection, a set of scones, finger sandwiches, and then desserts, and it also has an included menu. That's a little more robust. In hindsight, I probably would have stuck with just the classic. The signature was great but the classic is so filling. It's kind of Overkill. For the classic they even offered extra sandwiches. I noticed most other tables seem to enjoy their tea and the scones and maybe one set of sandwiches and then took the second set of sandwiches and desserts to go. I think I would have taken that route the next time. If you've never gone to afternoon tea, I'd recommend watching a short YouTube on proper etiquette, there is some pretty interesting information on the difference between high tea, low tea, and if you're supposed to be using a knife on your scone or breaking it with your fingers spoiler alert, you are supposed to break it. During the holidays the decorations are fantastic and perfect photo backdrop. Ultimately a really good experience and I'm looking forward to going again

Don't be confused, the building address may be 15th Street, but the stores on the main floor mostly face Platte Street. The tea shop is near the far east end. There is validated parking in the Parkwell lot behind the building. The shop is cozy and very cute with seating for about three dozen. We visited the day after Valentine's and things were still decorated for the holiday. The staff is very welcoming and we were soon seated after needing a bit of help with the Parkwell Web site. The rules for afternoon tea were quickly explained. Each person receives an individual pot of tea and can order as many different flavors/varieties as they wish to try. A traditional, vertical rack for each couple contains two plates of sandwiches, a plate of scones, and a plate of cookies and petit fours. This is a lot of food. We received three sets of sandwiches including turkey, cucumber, and curried chicken salad plus a bruschetta. These were all delicious, particularly the bruchetta which had a great mix of flavors. I love scones and we received both a strawberry and a traditional one with a plate of ramekins containing jam, clotted cream, and lemon curd. Very authentic and very tasty. Tea service included three timers to ensure the perfect steeping time, a plate on which to place the tea leaf basket after steeping, a strainer for each cup, and a little container to hold the strainer. Just be sure to keep a finger on the tea pot lid when you pour! We were stuffed at this point, so we only nibbled a bit of the chocolate petit four and were given a beautiful box in which to take home the balance of the desserts. We even each received a final cup of tea to go! Service was friendly and efficient. This is a great experience for my fellow lovers of afternoon tea and very authentic. We enjoyed every bit of it. The shop offers nearly 100 tea varieties plus cocktails, wine, and champagne. There's a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm daily. The decor strikes a balance between warm and minimal: nothing generic, nothing overdone. The coffee program is serious. The carrot cake latte is the standout order: it delivers actual depth and warmth rather than a sugar rush dressed up as a seasonal drink. It tastes like someone in the kitchen actually thought about it. Staff were attentive without hovering -- the kind of service that's easy to take for granted until you notice it's missing somewhere else. The dual café-and-cocktail-lounge concept means The Wild works from morning through late evening, which gives it a versatility most coffee spots can't match. The concept sounded perfect: a traditional three-tiered tray of finger sandwiches and sweets, a plated item like quiche, and bottomless tea over a three-hour reservation. To start with the positives, the staff were kind and polite, and the owner was accommodating when our group size increased closer to the date. The tea was good, and I appreciated that the teapots were kept warm with tea lights. The space itself is charming, and we genuinely enjoyed having time to sit and catch up. The food was delicious, they are amazing cooks. The biggest issue was the timing of the food. In every afternoon tea I have attended, the three-tiered tray is brought out shortly after being seated so guests can graze while enjoying tea. A plated item may follow later, but there is always something to snack on early in the experience. Here, we went almost two full hours without any food at all. The quiches arrived around the two-hour mark, and the three-tiered tray, which is the centerpiece of afternoon tea, did not arrive until about fifteen minutes before our three-hour reservation ended. No one was rushing us out, and we did enjoy being together, but waiting an hour and a half to two hours for any food simply is not reasonable. We were genuinely hungry for the first half of the visit and then suddenly had a large amount of food placed in front of us near the end. Instead of grazing leisurely, we were left trying to eat everything in a short window of time. With a reservation made weeks in advance and only one other small table present, it was surprising that nothing was delivered within the first hour. Even reversing the order and bringing out the tiered tray first would have completely changed the experience. We also received only one three-tiered tray for six people at a price comparable to other Denver tea houses where each guest receives their own. When we asked for boxes to take the remaining items home, we were told they only had paper sleeves. Afternoon tea items are delicate by design, and paper slips are not suitable for transporting layered finger foods without crushing them. Given that the tray was delivered minutes before the reservation ended, proper takeaway containers should have been available. Tea service was steady for much of the visit, but toward the end all three teapots sat empty for about ten to fifteen minutes, and I had to go upstairs to request a refill. This was secondary to the food timing, but it added to the overall sense that pacing and oversight were lacking. I truly wanted this to be a special afternoon, and I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the availability of vegan options. However, afternoon tea should feel thoughtfully paced, with food arriving early enough for guests to graze comfortably. Waiting nearly two hours for any food and then receiving the full tiered tray minutes before the reservation ended does not align with what high tea is meant to be.

This place is not for everyone and that is honestly part of the appeal…read more I came alone and was seated right away, most likely because it is a small space. The hostess or employee sat me down, and I took a seat at the bar. I was immediately given water and a menu, which felt easy and welcoming. This is not a "background music while you catch up" kind of bar. The music is the experience, inspired by Japanese listening bars. The sound is intentional, the vinyl selections feel curated, and the space encourages you to slow down and be present. Located in the Arts District of the Santa Fe neighborhood, ESP HiFi is walk in only, so arriving early is a good idea since it fills up quickly. The menu includes seasonal cocktails, highballs, natural wine, warm drinks, non alcoholic options, and small bites, with tastings focused on Japanese whiskey and mezcal. I had a walnut mezcal based cocktail, and ordered olives and Marcona almonds as a snack, all of which fit the vibe perfectly. They also offer a daily happy hour or "social hour" from 4 to 5pm. It was also fun watching the mixologist seamlessly switch between making drinks and DJing, which added to the experience. Yes, it is dark inside, but that is part of the atmosphere. The staff is not overly talkative, but the music is the whole point here, and that focus feels intentional. It is a popular spot and definitely gives hipster energy, but in a self aware, well executed way. If you are expecting a loud, social cocktail lounge, this is not it. If you appreciate good sound and a focused atmosphere, you will enjoy it. Not trying to please everyone. Just doing its thing and doing it well.

ESP Hi-Fi is *her* - the kind of place that immediately sets the tone…read more Went on a Friday night for a date and everything just clicked. We waited only about 10 minutes to be seated at the bar, which already felt like a small miracle for a weekend night in Denver. The interior is dark, intimate, and beautifully understated - romantic without feeling forced. The music (on vinyl btw) is impeccable and intentionally curated, the kind you actually feel, not just hear. Pair that with an excellent wine selection and you've got a space that's clearly designed for slowing down and being present. No distractions, just great sound, great drinks, and great energy. Easily one of my favorite bars in Denver now. ESP Hi-Fi understands atmosphere, and it shows. Already looking forward to coming back!
