I have no idea why it has taken me so long to stop in here, when we live so close by. We stopped in here a couple of weeks ago, five of us, and grabbed seats at the bar. For a smaller location, there's a surprising amount of seating, including outdoor seating. Not only do they have fun coffee beverages, but they also have a nice variety of coffee cocktails. I went with a variation of an espresso martini, as well as the shottino (not to be missed) - this includes a shot of espresso, amaretto, and cream - delicious! Hot Sherpa chai less sweet - perfectly spiced and not too sweet. Wish I lived in Colorado to come get this more because I don't know a single place in LA with chai this good. It was the different chai options that caught my eye and made me think it would be good, and it surely was. Stopped in a second time. The environs and surrounding warehouse district feel more SoHo than LoDo. It's a convenient place to grab a decent quick cup of coffee if you're in the area, hopping a city or long-distance train or shopping. Lingering beyond to-go, for me, would feel excessive and probably uncomfortable. My sidekick agreed. Joe temperature and taste is fine, though the professionals employed here have repeatedly projected - to me at least - that they might rather be somewhere else. If that's the case, just stay at home. There's an automated machine that serves coffee at 16th and Wazee. People need not need people for coffee anymore. At any rate, I get more of a two star feeling from the downbeat attitudes I've encountered, but happy to be generous with the third star. Maybe work on adding a little sugar to those interactions and should I return a third time, hopefully it'll be the charm. After all, I prefer human interaction to a robot but the futuristic option might end up being nicer. ;) read more

My best friend and I stumbled over to Amante in a food coma after having ramen at JINYA. Coffee was the perfect pick-me-up we needed to tackle the afternoon. We ordered at the counter (baristas were awesome) and found seats by the window. Perfect for people-watching but not for comfort. The leather benches were all gross and torn up. The latte I got was alright. I didn't get any caffeine bump and still felt sleepy afterwards. Ordered a matcha latte to-go for a friend, and they whipped it right up. I really do like the service here. Maybe I'll give it another try because of all the other positive reviews. Having been to Italy, Amante DOES have a very Italian café feel, which I love. Convenient spot for anyone that works downtown and can easily walk here! Its locatin obviously comes with parking challenges, so I personally wouldn't go through the trouble of transportation just to visit Amante, but if you're already in the area, why not? Stopped by Amante during the week to get coffee, have a snack, and get work done during the week. Amante is in a great location next to Union Station and has an incredible atmosphere and decor. I got a latte and a blueberry scone which both came out quickly. The staff was friendly and patient as I decided on my order. Amante is a great place to meet with friends, do some work, or stop for a quick break! My only issue was that the wifi was slow on my laptop and phone, but worked on both devices. Thinking it was just a one time thing, nope more people start to Oder in side, and I was left waiting. I was looking for some coffee when I arrived in downtown Denver from the airport and found this spot. I was shocked when I walked in and found they have coffee cocktails as well and of course I had to have one. It was superb and prices were fair. I asked them to make me an Espresso Tonic when I had to get to work and they happily made me one even though it wasn't on the menu, which was really kind. There are plenty of tables inside for doing work, but beware that Amante does play background music at a volume level that could interrupt any phone calls. Both times the experience was consistent and pleasant with knowledgeable staff and high quality coffee. One complaint at the end. We ordered a single origin Ethiopian coffee in a French Press 32oz to share. They gave us warmed coffee cups and allowed us to press the carafe. They set the timer and made sure we pushed it at the appropriate time. My only criticism is related to the bathrooms. There was no hand soap- after my first time going in I notified the staff and the woman told me that the manager knew there was no soap nor any on site to fill the container but they had ordered it - she then offered me hand sanitizer. The second day, there was still no hand soap. (Why don't they just buy a pump bottle from the grocery store?) That being said we will still come back anytime we are in town coming or going to/from the train! read more

Stopped here before taking the airport train. It's a cute cafe with burritos, coffee, tea drinks and more. I think you can get CBD infused drinks too. I got the Sanctuary Chai which was very good, I could taste the honey in it and it was unique compared to other chai lattes I've had. They kicked my service dog and I out of the coffee shop. First place I've been to that doesn't allow service dogs inside.

Their spiciest chai latte is the bhakti chai and it was very sweet. They gave me a to go cup even though I told them I was hanging around, and they never called my name so it sat on the counter for a long time. Overall they're pretty slow but it seems to be because they do old school style coffee making, which is an art, and fresh tea leaves poured into their own compostable tea bags. Just don't think they've actually nailed the art unfortunately. The space is small, crowded, and loud. Not a ton of stuff to absorb the sound. There's also a full bar, so it felt very New York City. read more

Excellent cafe that we originally encountered in Boulder and were happily surprised to find in Denver! They really know their espresso and the space is bright and wonderful to spend some time in. Little biscotti accompany your drink, keeping it classy Amante. The baristas are helpful and super chill. I recommend the macchiato and hope they can get some gelato soon to do their amazing afogatos you can get st the Boulder location.
