The service is always fantastic. The staff is super helpful and they really know their coffee. The Order: Spicy Chai Latte: I love that they ask if you want it sweet or spicy. I went with spicy and it was perfect. Great flavor with a nice kick!Banana Cinnamon Bun: This was absolutely delicious. S'mores Pop-Tart: My husband got this toasted treat with a marshmallow topping, and it was incredible. It's like a high-end version of a childhood classic. Atmosphere: We sat on the patio since it was a beautiful day. It's a great spot to catch up and take your time, but bring sunglasses! It gets very bright out there. Price: We spent around $25-$30 for two drinks and two snacks. For the quality of the craft coffee and the unique house-made pastries, it's definitely worth it. Overall Experience: I highly recommend coming here if you're visiting Colorado or if you live here. It's a top-tier coffee spot with a few locations in Denver and I always recommend trying their coffee flights. I went here on a sunday morning around 9am to meet up with a friend for coffee, and it was a good experience. I ordered the bacon and gruyere quiche, which was rich and savory. I also got the Fox and Raven mocha, because I usually only get mochas and there was just one on the menu, and I t was smooth, chocolatey. Corvus is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of both the food and drinks makes it worth it. The space itself is large, airy, and comfortable, with plenty of seating. Even on a sunday morning, service was fast and it didn't feel crowded. Parking was easy, which is a plus. I liked that the atmosphere struck a good balance between not being too quiet so it feels weird to talk and not being too loud where I'm feel like I'm yelling to my friend and can't hear her. It feels like a great place to work or study. The baristas were extremely friendly, and I was impressed by the variety of baked goods available. Found this one on Yelp (thank you!)- what a great spot. We only go to roasters now, and these folks know their stuff. Very impressive, high end equipment for hot and cold brew. Service was good, and it has a comfortable vibe for hanging out. My husband got a Guatemalan roast, which had a perfect extraction on the brew and a lovely presentation. There is a sitting area where you can watch them make the perfect pour over, which is great to observe if you appreciate this art. I had a half-caff mocha which was rich, with a good balance of coffee and chocolate. I give kudos for the nice latte art, too. And you have to try their works of art they call pastries..OMG. Great place to work! Variety of spaces for preferred set up (community tables, high and low tops, comfier chairs in the back). Quiet yet still has a good energy. A variety of pastries and quiches. I had the ham and cheese croissant- it was sub par but my standard for croissants has become high haha. Coffee is delicious and the staff is always so nice. They even remade my pour over prior to serving knowing it was properly done and I appreciate that because they did it before even telling me. They have their own private parking as well which is ideal for longer work days as most have 2 hour parking and it is inconvenient to have to move your car throughout the day. Outstanding coffee shop. Corvus Coffee Roasters showed up on every list of recommended cafes in Denver, and I can absolutely see why. They are remarkably dedicated to the art of good coffee, with a variety of different single origin beans expertly prepared as either pourover or espresso. The team is super knowledgeable about each of their beans and can give you recommendations based your preferences, and they even do coffee tastings if you want to try a variety. I decided to get a cup of pourover using their Geisha beans, and it was fantastic; the perfect level of brightness, with great notes of fruit and caramel. I'm sure the staff could give you a far more robust description, but thought it was fantastic. They also have plenty of tasty pastries if you're looking for something to pair with your coffee; I got their berry and goat cheese galette and am absolutely obsessed. The goat cheese gave the tart just enough tang and funk to keep the tart interesting, and it was a great counterbalance to the sweetness. I loved how creamy the goat cheese was, and the pastry shell was the right mix of flakey, buttery, and crumbly. The vibes were also delightful, perfect for a casual hang out or for working remotely. There are a ton of outlets available and speedy WiFi, so it was a great spot to hole up with my laptop for a few hours. Quickly stopped for a cup of doppio for to go today (a little past noon). I underestimated. I thought the place would be fairly empty. I was do wrong. Yup, that's right; Corvus is never slow. It's Denver's one of the most successful coffee shops. Don't expect any slowness there!! I had to wait for a good 10 minutes to get my doppio but I wasn't in a super hurry so that was okay. When I asked for a cup of doppio, the young lady asked me which coffee on the menu board I would like. She then made a quick recommendation: "Arcila Papayo", a Columbian kind (strawberry candy and tropical fruit.) Sounded good to me so without any hesitation, I ordered it away. This coffee was - like she suggested - amazingly balanced coffee. A bit of acidity hit my palette and yet unlike other coffee beans I used where I tasted a good amount of acidity in them, Arcila perfectly perfected the combination of the two flavors of strawberry candy and tropical fruit.) Any coffee sommelier (is there a such a person??) will agree with me as to how excellently and elegantly the flavors get released into the hot water when it was brewed. Simply amazing! I simply can't wait to go back and taste the coffee again. And yet, I might get tempted to try the other kinds on the menu next time. Nice little coffee roaster to check out! Very rustic, kind of moody and dark. Love that you can see the large, glass drip coffee makers doin' their thing right when you walk in. I noticed they have various coffee tonics on their menu, which I've heard of but they're not really a thing yet where I live. My friend, who's a local, enjoys them and gave me sip of the one he ordered. An acquired taste maybe? Guess I'm just not a big tonic gal. I took the safe route and got an iced latte with almond - my usual. I had them add a tad of caramel and it was a perfect, not-too-sweet addition. Sooooo smooth! I had the Iced Latte with house made vanilla syrup. It was really good and not overly sweet. The cinnamon coffee roll was delicious and paired really well with the latte. The brown sugar banana bread was not that great, I wouldn't get it again. There was an enormous amount of chocolate chip and the bread was dry. It was very easy to find parking and there is plenty of space to sit inside and outside. The baristas were kind and made the drinks extremely well. Will be back again! read more

Corvus is definitely one of the premier roasters in Denver. They have a few shops around town. Though I drive by this one often, I rarely stop in. I changed that last week on a rainy day and I must say it just felt right. The pastry case is always stocked and the employees are generally friendly. They accidentally made me the wrong drink and they were kind enough to comp my next round. It was an honest mistake and in my humble opinion, "caffeine is caffeine," so they really didn't need to do that. But the good ones always do! One of the few shops in Denver that actually puts an espresso tonic on their regular menu. Many shops will make it for you, but it's nice to see it up there on the menu board. They also have these low caffeine, flavored coffee iced beverages that are quite tasty. One of them has cherry and if I'm too hyped up I'll order one of these. Delicious! This location, especially on a dark rainy day, reminds me of the Pacific Northwest. It's well spaced out with many people on their laptops or reading a book. Plenty of seating and it feels like a coffee shop's coffee shop. As others have mentioned, their 6:30am-6:30pm hours are so easy to remember. I love that they have them listed directly near the front door. Only one bathroom to my knowledge, so you might have to wait for a while. Great branding and bagged beans for the road. I'm a creature of habit, and for some reason, coffee and pastry is my must-have weekend breakfast. If I don't stop by a coffee shop (or pastry shop that serves coffee), my weekend feels incomplete. Corvus is my fiancés favorite spot in all of Denver. He is a coffee snob and usually makes his at home, but when he accompanies me on my coffee shop adventures, he prefers we do Corvus. He's always impressed with their offerings and switches between black coffee and cappuccino. My go-to is an almond milk iced latte and this spot does it right. I do wish they had more seasonal offerings or specialty drinks (I think they'd make a killer PSL or something with pistachio flavoring for fall). Their pastries are pretty solid, though I'm a bit of a pastry snob and there are better pastries in Denver. But after all, those guys are a coffee shop at heart and they do have a great selection to choose from. Only things to be mindful of, is this spot is usually pretty dang busy. If you're stopping by on a weekend, be prepared to wait in line. Though they do get through the line quickly! And if you plan to have your coffee on site, just be ready for a full house, with people meeting up with friends, working on their laptops, and just enjoying the day. Also, their pricing is a little higher, but I do think that's a testament to the quality of the product you're getting here. How have I never heard of this place? My best friend suggested meeting up spontaneously one morning, and I was thrilled to find plenty of street and lot parking around Corvus. Then again it was ungodly early. There were quite a few people already chilling here, but that still meant wide availability of pastries. Oftentimes they sell out! I got a danish and latte. We sat in the back of the coffeeshop and caught up. Love the coffee-making implements and swag they have. Can't wait to come back again and enjoy the welcoming vibes. If you're "serious" about coffee-- about brew methods, and bean nuance-- Corvus is the spot for you. The menu is pared down, and their drinks let the coffee sing for its own. When I went, I sampled the nitro cold brew and ordered a Cascara spritz--which, if your barista is generous enough, is a brilliant pairing of bitter and sweet. (If you've never had Cascara, the hulls of the coffee bean, typically brewed into tea or cooked into syrup, I can't recommend it enough!) The environment was dark and industrial, with plenty of seating. I highly recommend the spot. read more

Corvus will forever be my favorite place to get a cortado in the greater Denver area, and while I love their other selections, I have to admit I go for a simple and delicious oat cortado with a single origin espresso and one of their amazing Fox and Raven pastries nearly every time. just something about it hits right every time! while I would recommend everything I tried off their menu so far, their cold brew is also particularly delicious. definitely in my top 3 favorite coffee spots in this area and will miss them immensely if I move away haha!
