Seasonal summer iced latte
Lauren A.

Had been wanting to try this place since it opened and it definitely lived up to the hype! I love the seasonal flavors they come up with. I went to the drive thru and it was super quick, but next time I want to go inside. Make sure to support this local coffee shop, especially since they're on the strip of colfax going through construction :(

Lilac Coffee is the cutest drive-thru coffee shop! If you're looking for unique and yummy drinks, this is a great AAPI small business to support. You can tell they use real espresso and high-quality coffee compared to other drive-thru coffee shops. We got the sweet corn macchiato and iced jolly pong latte. Love that they have Asian/Korean inspired drinks that are hard to come by in Denver. Will be coming back to try other drinks!

It's hard to miss the purple colored, drive-thru coffee house on Colifax! We did the walk-up and it was quick and easy to order. I got a honey lilac latte with oat milk and it was delicious!

Be on the lookout for the adorable lavender colored building when you're near East Colfax! Finally had a chance to swing by Lilac Coffee and enjoyed a delicious Honey Lilac Latte (with almond milk)! They are celebrating their one year anniversary with daily deals all week (April 7-12, 2025). They do not charge for dairy substitutes, yay! Friendly and efficient service. A few spots to sit outside, but if you need a drive-thru coffee spot, this should be your go to!

We (me and my dog) love Lilac!! Such a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee is high quality and they have a rotating seasonal menu. They are always excited to provide a pup cup at well There's a walk up window drive through, and few tables/chairs outside.

This is a new AAPI owned coffee shop. The exterior alone is bright and pretty enough to catch your eye as you're driving by. They have a drive through and a walk up and order counter. There are pretty lilacs dangling inside. Parking is available in the neighborhood streets. They do have some outdoor seating but it's pretty meh. Not a whole lot of seating. I ordered the honey lilac latte with oat milk and it was delicious. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I appreciate it when I can taste the flavor of the drink I ordered. I can taste the honey and lilac aroma from each sip. The honey lilac syrup is house made so I recommend that. I think they're still getting used to the flow of customers. The orders get confusing because people could order the same thing so someone who ordered after you may get your drink before you. They need a new system for the order at the counter like take a name or a number and use that to call out instead.

I love supporting a small business and the coffee is really good. This was my second time coming because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but the wait is just too long. There were 4 people working today, 2 cars in front of me, and I waited over 10 minutes before I was able to get to the window. 17 minutes from start to finish on not a super busy day is too long. The cars in front did not get alot of drinks so I am wondering if food was the hold up. The steam of people not working should have come to the several cars waiting and took our orders to move things along. The same thing happened the first time I came and I ended up parking. The problem is there isn't much parking to do this. The coffee is a great price, tastes great, is high quality from Corvus so hopefully they can figure out this little glitch.

Since opening a few months, I've quickly fallen in love with this new neighborhood coffee place. Not only is their social media off the chain, everyone involved with Lilac Coffee Express had been amazing. I've stopped by a few times, and their product is wonderful! The first few times I went, I indulged in their classic Honey Lavender Latte, but this weekend, I branched out to try their Ube Macchiato. I'm so glad I did! They utilized the ube flavor to perfection! What I really like about this cute little shop is that in a world of extra charges for nut milks, they don't add a fee and will make the drink dairy free for the same price. I want to shout out Morgan, who was very sweet today when I stopped by and let me do a bit of trauma dumping when she asked how I was doing. I have been dealing with some uninvited guests at my apartment, and Morgan commiserated with me over it. Thank you again for your kindness. This place should be a stop on everyone's list, especially because it's hard to miss! There is limited parking, or you can go through their drive-through.

Had a delicious ham and cheese croissant. The lilac honey latte was wonderful, not too sweet . Service was friendly. Love me a good drive thru ! Looking forward to my next visit.

While in Denver for a softball tournament with the family, we took a walk to the conveniently located coffee shop. Easy access for pedestrians on foot or drive through for the motor vehicle user. Enjoyed the staff making our drinks and the drinks themselves were very good.

Saw this coffee spot finally opened, had to give them a shot! The coffee was delicious. We tried the lilac honey latte and also the masala iced chai. Both were amazing. Didn't catch the name of the girl at the drive thru window but she was so friendly and answered a lot of our questions, also gave us some great recommendations! Definitely will be back!

Dandy Lion does it quietly -- a…read morenondescript exterior on 38th Ave in Park Hill that gives way, once you're through the door, to something genuinely unexpected: hanging swing seats, walls of living plants, morning light filtering through greenery, and the smell of something floral already in the air. Owners Duc Huynh and his wife Dominique moved the concept to Park Hill in 2021 , and what they built here is hard to categorize in the best way. It's a craft coffee shop and boutique plant store in one -- and somehow both sides of that equation feel equally intentional rather than one being an afterthought. The menu leans into lavender lattes, Vietnamese iced coffee, and chai, alongside croissants and breakfast burritos -- a lineup that reflects the shop's AAPI-owned roots and a clear point of view on what coffee can be. The Vietnamese iced coffee in particular earns its reputation: rich, layered, and grounding in a way that a standard cold brew just isn't. The lavender latte is a regular on people's standing orders for good reason. The seating situation is worth noting -- swing chairs and limited spots mean arriving early on weekends pays off. Street parking is the move. Best for solo mornings, slow catch-ups with a friend, or anyone who wants to leave with a new plant and a drink they'll be thinking about on the drive home. Open daily 8am-3pm -- get there before the rush.

The person taking my order was very friendly and welcoming. I got a lavender latte with macadamia nut milk (which I highly recommend) it was nice and creamy and paired well with the lavender. I also got a bonfire burrito, which was also tasty and filling. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop, hard not to since it was filled with plants, plant care items, cards, jewelry and fun stickers. Look forward to coming back in the future!

The space is decorated so cute with several tables to choose from, there's a cozy couch to enjoy, and even a bar space to sit all. There was one gentleman working while I was in, and he was very kind. I ordered an iced coffee with a side of oak milk; the coffee had a good flavor. For food, I ordered the egg and cheese bowl. This is not your average egg and cheese bowl - it was stacked with specialty cheeses like mozzarella and iberico! Plus, some devious spices. The bowl was served with ciabatta bread, topped with olive oil and herbs. I didn't have a pastry, but they all looked scrumptious and will definitely try one when I come back.

The have mostly smaller tables but a few couches - always an A+ for me. No food, but the pastries look next level. I deviated a bit from my normal latte or drip coffee and splurged on their "golden coffee": a beautiful cup of coffee with Nutella, steamed milk, whipped cream, pistachio and sparkles. It was a bit pricey at $12 but I regret absolutely nothing. The only thing keeping me from full marks is that it's not super stroller/baby friendly and these days that's important to me. Seriously though, a fabulous spot and I'm planning on returning for a little me time in the near future. The food looks so good I need to give it a try!
