I tried lilac coffee for the first time and really enjoyed it! This is a local coffee shop with a drive-through and a walk up window. There's some seating outside on a small patio for nice days but be aware there is no indoor seating. The best thing about lilac coffee is their seasonal drinks! I had an iced spiced lavender latte, and it was delicious! A little savory, not too sweet, and you could really taste the coffee! They use Corvus coffee, which is a really great coffee roaster here in Denver. If you're hungry, they also have a few pastries and breakfast items. Overall, I had a great experience, and I love that Lilac is local and uses really good quality ingredients for their drinks, while keeping prices reasonable! I will certainly be back! read more

We've gone here like 6 times this trip we are obsessed. New to us but my husband said this used to be a burger drive thru when he grew up here! Their pastries are awesome. Particularly enjoying that strawberry pico iced latte. Have tried nearly all the others and they are also all GOOD! Help these folks out while construction on Colfax is messing up the traffic flows. My friend recently moved to Colorado for school and I stopped by to visit her. We wanted to try this coffee shop because of the lilac colors to it. The shop itself is so cute. Everything is purple and looks so aesthetically pleasing. The vibes are good for Instagram pictures if you're into that. The pastries were absolutely delicious! We were so excited that we were able to get our hands on some of those. The coffee was also really good, however, I do have to say that it was so strong! If you're into that, this coffee would be right up your alley. We loved it, but we both couldn't finish our drinks. The lady taking our orders was extremely nice and the service was quick. My new fave reason to cross Colorado Blvd! It's not too far from Petco on Colfax so I will be frequenting this place! My first coffee here was the Korean cereal iced latte for $6.50 which is an excellent price point for me and the value and experience was so fun! The lilac color of the bldg just elevated my mood and it was a bright sunny day. They have flowers and bright colored chairs outside. People can drive thru, walk up or sit in the sun! There were lots of walk-ups along with me and a line of cars so the place seemed popular! A mom and her kid, a group of teens, some YPs. I was killing time in the sun and caffeinating between a Petco run and a key drop from a cat-sitting booking. I didn't need to look for any pastries because there was cereal in my drink! So fun. This is a new AAPI owned coffee shop. The exterior alone is bright and pretty enough to catch your eye as you're driving by. They have a drive through and a walk up and order counter. There are pretty lilacs dangling inside. Parking is available in the neighborhood streets. They do have some outdoor seating but it's pretty meh. Not a whole lot of seating. I ordered the honey lilac latte with oat milk and it was delicious. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I appreciate it when I can taste the flavor of the drink I ordered. I can taste the honey and lilac aroma from each sip. The honey lilac syrup is house made so I recommend that. I think they're still getting used to the flow of customers. The orders get confusing because people could order the same thing so someone who ordered after you may get your drink before you. They need a new system for the order at the counter like take a name or a number and use that to call out instead. read more

I love supporting a small business and the coffee is really good. This was my second time coming because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but the wait is just too long. There were 4 people working today, 2 cars in front of me, and I waited over 10 minutes before I was able to get to the window. 17 minutes from start to finish on not a super busy day is too long. The cars in front did not get alot of drinks so I am wondering if food was the hold up. The steam of people not working should have come to the several cars waiting and took our orders to move things along. The same thing happened the first time I came and I ended up parking. The problem is there isn't much parking to do this. The coffee is a great price, tastes great, is high quality from Corvus so hopefully they can figure out this little glitch. read more

Since opening a few months, I've quickly fallen in love with this new neighborhood coffee place. Not only is their social media off the chain, everyone involved with Lilac Coffee Express had been amazing. I've stopped by a few times, and their product is wonderful! The first few times I went, I indulged in their classic Honey Lavender Latte, but this weekend, I branched out to try their Ube Macchiato. I'm so glad I did! They utilized the ube flavor to perfection! What I really like about this cute little shop is that in a world of extra charges for nut milks, they don't add a fee and will make the drink dairy free for the same price. I want to shout out Morgan, who was very sweet today when I stopped by and let me do a bit of trauma dumping when she asked how I was doing. I have been dealing with some uninvited guests at my apartment, and Morgan commiserated with me over it. Thank you again for your kindness. The breakfast burrito was 'fine'. Service was absolutely lovely. But the cappuccino was subpar, unfortunately. We are regulars at various Denver spots either because the beans are out of this world (Pablo's, Torpedo) or because the breakfast burritos are (Tessa). I probably won't finish my cappuccino. The location is very easy to find; being that its such a pretty shade of purple on the outside, that really helps it stand out, and it was easy to navigate through, both workers there were so kind, got our orders and drinks through very quickly.
