Food: I highly recommended Kyoto iced coffee for non calorie, fruity, lavender, butter scotch & pumpkin spice latte for coffee choices. Pastry I recommended Vietnamese pork puff & Parmesan black pepper croissant. Service: Pick a table (I love the swing seat), order at the counter, paid & they will call when your coffee is ready. Atmosphere: Green house sanctuary(with a lot of cute plants & artsy cute curated gifts for sale & their cute merch), Lovely swing chairs & all perfectionist for botanical Hobo like me. Not included all their monthly sound bath & cool pop up activities. Sum up: So far to my personal experiences. I would give 6 stars if I could for Dandy lion. Only downside I can think of is the sometime challenge to find their street parking( Bc this coffee shop is so busy in the Morning) I love their latte art & coffee& iced match(on milky side) & pastries are to perfection. If you love arts, plants, terrarium, green house, mellow Spotify & clean bathroom with no annoying code to get in. This is absolutely the spot for you. Lives in CoS, but I came here every time I visited Denver. It is easy to falling in love with Dandy Lion :)

Finally found an excuse to check out Dandy Lion after it being on my list for a hot minute - what a gem! Check out the attached pictures as my description won't do the space justice. I will say this though: swings. The location itself feels a bit barren, but it is more than made up for inside. One of the more adorable internal setups for a coffeeshop I've come across - and I check out a lot of coffeeshops. Am I bias because I'm also a plant witch? Perhaps. But still. I wasn't hungry so can't speak for any of the food items, though the pastries looked good and I recognized them as coming from a local bakery. Guava bear claw seemed particularly interesting. I tend to gravitate towards seasonal beverages and this was no exception. Went with an iced Hot Honey Latte and although it wasn't as true to flavor as I was expecting, was still tasty. Liked that they had macadamia nut milk as one of their options. Super glad I finally made it here and am looking forward to a return visit!

I absolutely adore this place! It's my favorite coffee spot / plant store. Service is fantastic, drinks always taste great, and I always end up leaving with something (plant or nic-Mac)! I'm pretty sure most of my plants are from here.

Absolutely loved Dandy Lion Coffee -- it's such a vibe! This place is equal parts cozy café and plant-filled haven, and it instantly feels like a local gem. There are swings, a greenhouse-style corner, and tons of plants everywhere. It's basically heaven for a plant person like me. I got the cheese and pepper croissant, which was perfectly buttery and flaky, and paired it with one of their coffees which was smooth, balanced, and beautifully made. I also tried the biscotti, which was crisp, flavorful, and perfect for dunking. Everything tasted fresh and intentional. Beyond the food and drinks, there's so much character here -- they sell stickers, local goods, and even moss balls, which I loved. It's the kind of spot you come in for coffee and end up staying just to soak up the space (and maybe buy a plant or two). Definitely one of my new favorite cafés in Denver -- charming, creative, and full of life.

One of my favorite coffee shops ever!! Great ambiance and fantastic place to hang out. Tables and a few swings and plants galore. They even have a small little greenhouse inside. The coffee is super delicious as well, also some of the best I've had! They also sell bonfire burritos. Seating can be limited on a busy weekend day.

Had the Pistachio mocha cold brew which was delicious! First time ordering food here and had the sesame seed bagel toasted with chive cream cheese which was delicious and seems to be made fresh! Will be trying more pastries from the menu! Great vibes and staff as always. Brought a friend with me this time and she enjoyed it as well. She had the Vietnamese Pork Pie which was heated up and looked delicious.

Exceptional collection of both conventional and unusual house plants, crystals, and chachkis - some at a price. The café offered a comp beverage (sparkling lavender lemonade) and we convened in a lovely appointed circle for a spiritual healing session but it was not my jam personally, and there are definitely opportunities for growth and refinement in that experience, but its all new, so I'm confident that offering will improve in time! Check it out.

Cute cafe that offers various drinks, food and plants! I've seen this place on IG a lot and I'm happy it lived up to expectations. I got 2 lattes with macadamia milk and 2 plants. Recommend stopping by!

I have had this place on my "coffee shops to try" list for farrrr too long! Now I can finally say I dropped by. This spot is absolutely beautiful inside. Great lighting, lots of plants to admire, and good customer service. What else could you need? Oh great coffee and treats? They have that too! I really enjoyed the potato danish and Vietnamese iced coffee. After doing some shopping, I found a little cutie plant to take home with me. I will def be back soon!

Visiting my sister here and asked for a recommendation of a nearby coffee shop. This is a beautiful place to share a cup of coffee and/or check a few things off the digital to do list. This matcha was awesome. The cinnamon roll was good.

Dandy Lion Coffee is such a cute coffee shop in the suburbs of Denver! It's located sort of in the middle of what feels like a neighborhood, not many other businesses located around it so it sort of just appears out of nowhere and gives it a feel of a hidden gem! Inside, it's gorgeously decorated with tons of different kinds of seating - tables and chairs, couches, even swings! Almost one entire half of the shop is filled with really cute home goods and shelves of plants for you to peruse and purchase! I got a Thai iced tea when I was here and it was delicious and strong! This coffee shop isn't huge and the tables they do have are a bit small, but my friend and I were able to cowork from here for an hour or two on their wifi and it was just such a nice vibe! Dog friendly, great service, and great products!

My go-to's are the thai iced tea (when in season get the pumpkin cold foam thai iced tea) and either a mocha or lavender latte.

Once upon a time Denver was the world's Carnation Capital and City Floral a major producer of…read moreminiature carnations (and other cut flowers) for the wholesale market. An employee in the mid-1950s had the idea of selling the lower grade flowers to the public. Cheap carnations ($1 a dozen) soon led to lots of foot traffic to the greenhouses which motivated adding additional plants and other retail items. South American competition led to the decline of U.S. cut flower production and City Floral sold the last carnation in 1985, adapting to become a full retail garden center with a landscaping design/build operation. The greenhouses date back to the original cut flower facility built in 1911. This was expanded for retail sales in 1976. The office and warehouse facilities on the west side were added in 1990. This is the oldest remaining greenhouse in Denver. The current facility is packed with every possible goodie for the gardener/landscaper including flowers, fruits, vegetables, plants, trees, shrubs, a huge variety of containers, statuary, tools, and supplies. There's a large succulent section and a good collection of bonsai. Services include tips and education on plant care, pest and disease diagnosis, plant identification, custom container potting, delivery, in-store repotting, plant rentals, an interior design partnership program, and comprehensive landscaping design and construction. I've had the past notion that City Floral was a bit pricy, but I found them very competitive on price in 2026. The products are top quality and the staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is a fantastic facility and very convenient for those of us who live in central Denver.

The new owners are not the same, and noticed bugs, bugs and more bugs on almost every plant I picked up. I asked where they get their plants and they wouldn't answer me. I couldn't find one plant that didn't have bugs when checking the stems. Lots of stressed out plants too. Will never come back. Sorry. The backyard, which was easily 3 times the size, we used the Dry-land seed. The front yard needed fertilizer sprayed about once a month, and watering twice a day for about 15 minutes every morning and 10 minutes every evening. More water than that, and we got mushrooms, less and the sod turned sickly. The Dry-land grass seed took off quickly, and once established, it was beautiful! Thicker and greener than the sod. And it took 20 minutes of watering every 3 days! We used to build houses, and we told everyone about our wonderful grass. I'm not sure how many people actually used it, but everyone was extremely impressed. After about 2 1/2 years at that house in Parker, we built ourselves another house out in Elizabeth Colorado. Elizabeth soil is Sandy dry and no actual topsoil out there to be found. We had one load of topsoil delivered for entire backyard, which was large. (I thought that we should have gotten two loads. But I was out voted.) We spread the dry-land grass seed around and raked it in with a small tractor and hand rakes. Twice, we had torrential rains, right after the grass sprouted and started to barely turn green, that washed most of the grass seed down the hill. The third time, it finally stuck and we had a beautiful lawn, for the 14 years that I lived there, with very little water needed. The funny thing was that the bottom of our lot was greener than any other spot on our 5 acre land, because that was where all of that grass seed ended up, and it was a low spot from three different directions leading to a culvert. It was so thick that it would bog down our 42 inch riding mower. But, it looked absolutely beautiful. Out there, with garbage soil, we watered about every other day for 10 minutes per zone. We aerated the yard every year or two, after about three years, and I used the spray weed and feed once a year as well. So, I hope Arkansas Valley Seed Company still has that mix. Because it is wonderful. We had dogs and kids and adults on the grass all the time, and it was always amazingly beautiful. I highly recommend this company. Valerie Fidrich Fidrich Construction
