The guy who helped us out was super knowledgeable about everything, from soil to particular plant care and light/watering needs. He was also happy to answer my random questions about my different ailing plants at home that I didn't even purchase with them. The organic soil that I bought there has completely spruced up many of my indoor and outdoor potted plants. I also got a little guy on sale and it's growing and thriving 3 months later. read more

TOP-NOTCH PLANT SHOP! Every time I go here it's so wonderful. Meg is very kind and always helpful. She is so knowledgeable and willing to answer questions about plants at home. I emailed in some pictures about my Monstera and she called me the same day to help! They have a stamp card which is fun and offer for you to bring in your plant to help with repotting. They do ask for you to leave your plant outside until they can see it which is genius in case it has pests. Their prices are affordable for plants and pots. They truly value their costumers. I wish I could give more than five stars! read more

Amazing, amazing place is all I can say. I went in to get help re-potting some plants, I am somewhat of a novice to plants. Meg was immensely helpful and so friendly and knowledgeable. If I had a green thumb, this would be the place I would go to fill my home with plants. They have a ton of pots and plants of all variety. Not only are there plants, but there are pieces of artwork sprinkled throughout. I left with a couple of pieces I had not even thought of buying until I saw them. They called to me. Hahaha. If you love plants or want a plant you must go here! read more

This place is the best! The staff are so knowledgeable about plants and proper care. I feel so much more confident as a plant owner now and will continue to buy plants here or come for plant care advice. read more

There are scarcely word to describe how much I adore this place. The selections are outstanding and their staff knows everything about every plant - they're kind of brilliant. Oh! And super friendly with a mom & pop vibe where they call you by your name. The plants are all vibrant and healthy. While a but pricey, the quality is next to none. Try them out. This is the Mac Daddy of plant stores. Thanks to Yelp, I found this gem in the city and while the prices were steep it was worth every penny. I will not buy houseplants anywhere else. Amazing service, knowledgeable staff and gorgeous selection of healthy houseplants and decorative plant pots. They have a frequent customer card so you get a deal if you buy lots of plants! Street parking. Outdoor plant selection was slim. So just be aware if that. They get new stock Thursday's. So that's the time to come- or the day after. read more

My friend and I walked here after having lunch down the street. The pictures online looked cute, so I wanted to check it out and maybe get something for my house. The plants at this store didn't call to me. I tried to ask a few basic questions but felt very judged for not knowing much about plants. Honestly would probably not come back again, with so many other plant stores around Denver and better conversations with shopkeepers! read more

Need a new plant baby? You have to go to Plant Garage! Why?! 1. Soooo many great options! Inside, outside, small, medium, large, low maintenance, you name it - they got it! That's also probably why I now have 28.. why are plants so addicting?! 2. Doggggies! They have their super sweet dog, Lilly, roaming around and they're pet friendly so you can bring your pup! They might even score a treat too! 3. Meg and her staff are incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable about plants and let you how to take care of your plant baby. Best plant store for pots (in my style at least) in Denver so far! Such beautiful designs and all priced affordably. They also have a huge selection of smaller, budget friendly starter plants. You walk into the garden.. tons to look at in terms of trees, succulents, larger pots, fountains, etc. The inside is cozier but filled to the brim with full baskets of hanging plants, plus lots of unique little treasures like incense and leather plant hangers. All of the plants looked vibrant, super healthy. Many were placed in pots they sold which was cool. Lots of climbing Hoyas, sansevieria varieties, huge dracaenas, etc. Lots of lovely things to choose from. The owner or worker was incredibly nice, helpful, and engaged with everybody. Love to see it :) But like I told him, my search for pots is overrr. So many shapes and sizes, geometric to tribal to elegant.. Almost every single one of them is perfect. Awesome local experience, can't wait to come back! read more

The best plant shop in denver!! They were SO knowledgeable and kind. They had a few cute pups running around the store which was a plus. The prices are so affordable, I bought a small (but still decently grown) golden pothos for $13, and a pot for $14. They had lots of cute pots and macrame hangers too! They have a "plant card" where you can buy 10 plants and get the 11th free which I will definitely be returning for. Always my first stop when I'm in the market for a plant or six! They keep a great variety of starter plants outside, and have indoor plants and other gardening items (and decor) inside. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and prices are fair. They also carefully source things that will grow well in our climate. I planted a bunch of their succulents last year, and all have survived and flourished, just as they said. Thanks Plant Garage! read more

I eyed up their colorful outdoor courtyard in passing many times before I actually stopped in and I'm so glad I finally did. Plant Garage is quaint, stylish, and makes great use of a small space to display a broad selection of indoor and outdoor plants and accessories for easy browsing. Their aesthetic is light, homey, and contemporary with lots of really beautiful and interesting decorative pots. It seems inventory changes often as I went on a Saturday and then again the following Wednesday and found so many different things that I didn't see the first time around. What clinched my five star rating was the service. I spoke with co-owners Jim and Meagan on separate occasions and both were super helpful and personable. I had a plant that I had purchased elsewhere that needed repotting and they were more than happy to help me do this, supplying soil and a new nursery pot if needed, free of charge. I so appreciated this and it really indicated to me that they just want you and your plant friends to be as happy as possible. This is a boutique plant shop so I imagine it's possible to buy for less elsewhere but I found the prices really accessible for the most part ($13 for the average 4" plant) plus you get to feel good about supporting a local business instead of a big box retailer. One bit of feedback- I wish there was a specific label on every plant. I'm sure the staff would've been happy to answer any questions but I think introverts like yours truly would like to be able to look things up on their own without bothering anyone. read more

This place is the best. It is open and sunny. There are lots of plants on the patio in the summertime where you can grab veggies for your garden, outdoor flower beds, or outdoor plants in general. If you wander inside you will find cute trinkets, home decor, and indoor plants. They have the cutest planters and super reasonable prices. The plants range from large to small. The staff is super knowledgeable and the owner is so sweet. He will answer any questions you have, repot any plants, and give you advice on what plant babies are best for you. I highly recommend this spot. It is one of my favorite places to go on weekends in the neighborhood. Also, if you don't find what you want, ask about it. They get new shipments in weekly. read more

Hands down, the best plant shop in Denver! Not only are the selections amazing, but the service is outstanding. I recently purchased several gorgeous plants, and sadly, one out of four was not doing so well. I reached out to the staff, and they instantly assisted me with phone calls and messages via Instagram, providing hands-on coaching to nurse the plant back to health. Now every time I look at my plant I remember how incredibly grateful I feel. Plant Garage truly wanted to help and it showed. Customer for life! read more

There's a sign out in the front of the store limiting 10 people in the actual building, which I thought was considerate of social distancing! Everyone was wearing masks as well. There is a HUGE plant selection ranging from outdoor plants, succulents, and houseplants inside! This is the plant I decided to buy. The cashier (maybe owner?) was very kind to every customer and answered their questions in great detail. Definitely will come back again!! (there's a punch card & the 10th plant you buy, you get a free 4" plant). thanks! read more

Amazing service. They even shared with me how to keep plant alive and thriving over the long term. Worth the drive!

always a weird time at the plant garden. I mean really weird. let's preface by I've never said my name in this store ever, or used a card where my name could be seen. the owner walks up one day and says "oh is your name megan? mine is too!" to which I very wide eyed shook my head yes and left. uh... no. creepy. read more

Your planty needs will be beyond satisfied. What a treasure in the golden triangle.Good advice.Megs got the knowledge to wow.

I stopped in yesterday looking for a couple large plants in my new apartment. I was so repulsed by the condescending tone of one of the CS reps that I didn't want to financially support the business. As I turned the leave, the woman stopped me and continued to repeat her condescending rhetoric absolutely oblivious her behavior was the reason I was leaving. Needless to say, I dropped $400 bucks at a competitor down the street. This person does NOT belong in any customer-facing roles. She's unprofessional, offensively impolite and lacks self-awareness. No thank you. read more

So many cool plants to choose from, and that is where I bought my first plant! But I went to get it repotted and they did it way too tight. I waited a couple of weeks and the leaves started dying off so I went back in and asked them to repot it because I thought it was too tight. The girl was so rude to me and said that it was fine and made me feel stupid. My plant has continued to die since that day. read more

Catty and judgemental of people with disabilities who can't lift heavy terra cotta pots and are asking for advice on how to rehydrate a plant without breaking their back. Also pretty darn overpriced, but that's fine, I would have supported their business. Then when they get called out for being ableist and judgmental they smirk and say "they're just trying to help." The dog is cute though. Here's how the conversation went though, objectively: "I'm unable to lift such a heavy plant in and out of the tub, is there any other way?" "Well, if you wanna have a plant..." How is that not judgemental? How is is helpful to dismiss someone's disability instead of helping find alternatives? Also zero conscience, consideration, or accountability as to how that might make someone feel, just a smirk as if being upset at people's ableism and lack of compassion is unreasonable. I'm good, there's a better plant shop a block away. If you're looking to support an ethical business, this isn't it. read more

Plant Garage has a good selection of plants and supplies, and the shop itself is pretty neat with an outdoor area for garden inventory. The day I was there, I remember feeling a little awkward because it was silent in the store and I was the only one in there. And the sales associate was like... not rude by any means, but also not friendly at all. One other note... the plant I purchased has been struggling, and I've been following the associate's care instructions very closely. I'll shop there again, but hopefully they'll be playing some damn music and be in a better mood lol read more

Super knowledgeable staff and great selection will be back! I found it to be a little expensive but great overall

On a hunt for affordable house plants around Denver, I stumbled across Plant Garage quite by accident. A lush oasis in the middle of urban Denver. They've done a nice job with a relatively small space to cultivate indoor and outdoor plants for customers. I was searching for indoor plants that were relatively non-toxic to cats. Relatively being the key phrase because cats chew on most plants and barf (that's to be expected), but is it like "ugh, I don't feel good" barf or "oh no, I'm going to die" barf. I was going for the former... From what I could see Plant Garage had mostly the latter. And that's OK. A lot of indoor plants are not good for pets! Or just keep them out of reach and it's NBD. I ended up getting plants elsewhere but it was fun to stop by and check out this really nice shop. read more

We realize it's cheaper and easier to hit up big box retailers to find plants, but we searched yelp & stumbled upon this local gem. Because I have the attention span of a 5 yr old, this spot checked all the boxes & we found our succulent babies right away!
