Such a disappointment. If all you want is a rustic brown look. Then this may be your spot. No nightstands to found. Maybe 4 dressers but rustic looking like it belongs in a cabin. Nothing with a polished look or nothing with too much color. I was into this look when I was younger and wanted chic furniture but now as I am older I am seeking a more mature polished look. I understand Denver / Colorado is really lacking in unique or independently owned lil furniture shops and I really wanted this to work for me. It did not. So what I mean by alot of the same ..... I went to all 3 locations. I found the same livingroom console table in a few diff colors stacked wayyy high at their warehouse. Just diff colors. The only highlight was the clean bathroom.

The Joybird Elliot Apartment Corner Sectional was one of the only options I found that checked both boxes, and I also liked that it was made in the U.S. I went into the store so I could see the different fabrics in person and get a better sense of the style and construction. Suz helped me through the process and was awesome to work with. I was also able to purchase during a sale, which definitely helped with the overall value. I was quoted about five weeks for the sectional to arrive, and that estimate was accurate. Communication and delivery were smooth, everything arrived on time, and the delivery team did a great job getting everything set up. I've only had the sectional for a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far I'm extremely happy with it. I really like the fabric, which is soft and comfortable, and the cushions have a firmness that I really like without making the sofa uncomfortable. It's also surprisingly comfortable for napping. The length gives me the extra seating I wanted while the apartment-sized configuration works really well in my space. Overall, the entire experience, from shopping in the store through delivery, was easy, and I'm very happy with the sectional. Five stars from me.

The sales room representative was very helpful in getting me to purchase a couch, which I do love…read moreand was what I intended to purchase when initially entering the store. Note, the couches are custom order and take 4-8 weeks to arrive (****not only ****3-4 weeks which is what the show room says to you). I was sold a mattress and a bed frame as well... This is why I am giving it a two star rating. I was told the mattress would get to me in 2 weeks and very quickly, along with the custom bed frame that was on sale. This was a total lie. The mattress took 8 weeks and I ended up canceling the bed frame order because the customer service couldn't even tell me how long it would be for the bed frame. The show room manager lied to me and said I would get a refund for the mattress on the phone. I had to call back to the customer service (which is not the show room...) and they let me know that NO refund would be delivered on the mattress once it was delivered (only the shipping fees - which I think were free? who knows - NOT Joybird). Also, I was under a medical condition where I was not able to bring in large furniture on my own. I was "sold" that all the items would be "white glove delivered". They are not, the mattress was delivered by Fed Ex and I had to move in the very heavy mattress on my own. I will not ever shop here again.

I just moved a piece of fine furniture into my kitchen…read more When was the last time you ordered a piece of furniture and got something * MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL* than what you were expecting? That was my experience with ordering a pantry from Modern Bungalow. It took a few months to arrive, because Amish master craftsmen took the time to build an absolutely stunning piece of furniture, from carefully chosen pieces of gorgeous maple wood. If the pantry were small enough to fit on a dresser, I'd call it a jewelry box; it's that beautiful. The pantry is amply-sized. Using traditional hand-tooled and mortise-and-tenon joinery techniques, the pantry is meticulously constructed. The substantially deep shelves, which I have already loaded with giant heavy canned goods (like San Marzano tomatoes, for making my famous pasta sauce), and bottles of imported vinegars and California's finest olive oils, not to mention a cartload of baking supplies, provide ample storage for any manner of pantry goods, and the hardware used for the pantry doors is substantial enough to keep them from ever sagging. Thank you, Modern Bungalow, for helping me to obtain an heirloom-quality pantry that my kids will likely fight over some day, right after my funeral.

Solid Beauty, Stylish Comfort…read more I've never had a crush on a piece of furniture. That was before Modern Bungalow. The sight of my headboard now makes me sigh happily like a school girl. It all started when I couldn't find the right bedframe. The decor style of our home has been inspired by The designs of Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Rene Macintosh; hardwood, understated, tasteful. But I could not find anything that suited me. Thanks to Modern Bungalow, our Cal King wooden headboard was custom created, delivered, and assembled - it will last a lifetime. I am in love with the warm rich honeyed hues of the wood and elegant design details. The solid construction provides a foundation for nights of restful sleep.

Once upon a time Denver was the world's Carnation Capital and City Floral a major producer of…read moreminiature carnations (and other cut flowers) for the wholesale market. An employee in the mid-1950s had the idea of selling the lower grade flowers to the public. Cheap carnations ($1 a dozen) soon led to lots of foot traffic to the greenhouses which motivated adding additional plants and other retail items. South American competition led to the decline of U.S. cut flower production and City Floral sold the last carnation in 1985, adapting to become a full retail garden center with a landscaping design/build operation. The greenhouses date back to the original cut flower facility built in 1911. This was expanded for retail sales in 1976. The office and warehouse facilities on the west side were added in 1990. This is the oldest remaining greenhouse in Denver. The current facility is packed with every possible goodie for the gardener/landscaper including flowers, fruits, vegetables, plants, trees, shrubs, a huge variety of containers, statuary, tools, and supplies. There's a large succulent section and a good collection of bonsai. Services include tips and education on plant care, pest and disease diagnosis, plant identification, custom container potting, delivery, in-store repotting, plant rentals, an interior design partnership program, and comprehensive landscaping design and construction.
