I was craving matcha and my partner needed coffee so we looked up a place nearby and found Panda Coffee House. The location is pretty cool. There's a lot going on in the space but if you come early in the morning, it is pretty chill. I think they have pastries from Black Box (I could be wrong) but the pastries are really good. They're very buttery. No photos of food cause I devoured that. There's plenty of seats and parking spaces. The matcha was quite good. It wasn't too bitter or sweet. It still tasted like a solid matcha drink unlike the siren chain. If I'm in the area, I would stop by. I don't think this is Panda Coffee fault but the music was so loud. read more

If you're looking for good coffee and an amazing staff, this isn't it. I've had Glissade coffee at other establishments and it never tastes this bad. It's either flat or watery, even their pour overs. At this point we're wasting our money. We've been multiple times and it keeps getting worse. Also, the staff is not friendly. They don't communicate with their patrons, no eye contact. We're not looking for a song and dance, just a little warmth. They're usually just talking to each other and don't appear to care too much about what's in front of them, as far as making good coffee. My husband and friends decided we won't be back. My friend and I got there in the mid morning beginning of the afternoon and there was still a good amount of pastries to choose from. I got the chocolate chip croissant! They warmed it up for me as well. It was light and fluffy but also flaky! The chocolate in the center was delicious! THE BIG: Located inside the FlyteCo Tower in the Central Park area of Denver. Apparently the name Panda was inspired by the owners dogs (pepper and archer). Plenty of indoor seating and a beautiful outdoor area for kids to run around. Parking lot available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: We came here before our pickleball game (recreationally of course) and was in need of a caffeine fix. Panda coffee house is a unique name but serves some damn good coffee and matcha. I usually get my coffee black but was really curious about their oat milk latte. It turned out to be super delicious. The wife got the matcha mortado, which is a lighter matcha latte and is a play on for matcha cortado. That was super yummy. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, the price for a matcha mortado and a coffee was around $12. Definitely a must try if you're aroudn the area for your caffeine fix. read more

FlyteCo Tower where this is located has a super cool arcade / bowling alley / putt-putt vibe but I can't say it screams coffeeshop - at least not the come relax a while / cozy ambiance I go for. There were people sitting at high top tables with outlets working, so it can fit that bill for some. While we were able to get a chair moved for our stroller in the main sitting area I wouldn't call it comfortable. Again, just doesn't scream standard coffeeshop. My husband ordered a burrito which was delicious and deserves full marks. He also had a chai - while good, didn't quite match the hype I expected given it had a big backstory on the menu. I had a seasonal maple latte and the maple didn't really come through. I also asked for "for here" cups and mine came in a to-go cup which was really disappointing - I hate to see single use waste being used unnecessarily. read more

The mocha (pre me mixing it) was awful. The taste of the coffee alone was so bad (my go to is an unsweetened latte so it's not an issue of whether I like coffee or not) but once I mixed the chocolate that was on the walls of the cup in, it was okay. We got some cinnamon sugar pastry and the flavor was okay but it was VERY dry. I do still want to come back to try their matcha but pretty bummed this place isn't better. read more

Finally tried the strawberry matcha! It's delicious, of course. I've also tried the cortado since my last review. It's served really nicely, as a sort of coffee service. Aaamazing!! Didn't know this opened up in the fun Flyte Co until recently. They have all the usual coffee and tea drinks but also an incredible selection of unique drinks. I enjoyed the mango kulfi delight with matcha - so incredible! It's such a fun family friendly place with video games, bowling, mini golf, etc. My children love coming here - as does my husband! Best Strawberry matcha in Denver! I've never been here but really appreciated the large amount of parking and seats inside. This looks like a cute date night spot with the mini golf and arcade in the back. Was a great spot to come do some work and did not feel overly crowded. My husband, baby, and I, traveled to Denver for a wedding. My husband and I like to try new coffee shops when we travel. A friend recommended panda coffee house because she knows how much I love Matcha and they have an extensive Matcha selection. My husband got some sort of coffee that he really enjoyed. I got a pistachio rose Matcha. It was one of the best Matchas I have ever had. The drink was made with pistachio milk and real rose petals. I was afraid when the drink arrived that it was going to taste heavily floral and perfume-y, but it didn't. It tasted perfectly earthy, yet elevated. The staff at the counter very nice and helpful. There is a good amount of seating inside as they share a space with another business. The parking lot was pretty substantial given that it is shared with other businesses as well. It took a second to find the coffeehouse since it is in another building and there isn't super clear signage outside. But they did have an A-frame in the parking lot. One of my favorite parts of the whole experience was that there was a collection of pandas guests had drawn all tacked up on a post at the counter. I look forward to returning to Denver just so I can visit here again. read more

Got a matcha cortado and a matcha tonic with strawberry. Matcha cortado was great; though keep in mind that oat milk is the default here. I tend to prefer whole milk, which they do have, but you will need to specify. Folks working here are good about asking in case though. Matcha tonic + strawberry was DIVINE. Easily one of my favorite drinks in the matcha category that I've ever had. Ambience is okay, it's also in the Flyte Tower with everything else that is there, but the vibe is more calm since it's a morning/early afternoon shop (closes at 2pm). The strawberry matcha latte was pretty okay IMO. Once you start to mix the drink, you lose the strawberry flavor and mainly get matcha, which isn't bad but just turns in a regular matcha drink. The Honey Lavender Matcha was a better choice that one of the staff actually recommended and it turned out pretty good. The flavors stayed consistent throughout and didn't get diluted. read more
