The burrito was very good, but it was still cold in the center. It wasn't frozen, just a little chilly. The flavors blended well, though, so I didn't make a big deal about it. The coffee was perfect, though. The space is warm and inviting in its own way. There were lots of folks working on their computers, which I appreciate very much. It has that kind of friendly vibe.

Would be a nice mid-morning snack to eat along with my doppio. The guy was efficient. After I placed my order, it was a matter of a minute or two before he handed me the two items. I was the only customer (like I said) but he was super fast. The charge was about $10 for both items. Upon glancing at the electronic receipt, I realized that the baklavas are $7. A bit pricey I thought but they are a good size. Not bad... At home, I enjoyed both of them after my breakfast. I added some almond milk and half and half in my doppio which tasted nice and bitter (for this reason, people think that I drink like the Italians; they do like strong espresso.) The baklava was so filling. The flaky layers stack on top of each other were perfected. The sweetness was just right. For this size/portion, I guess $7 makes sense; the money worth spent for.

But I was disappointed during my most recent visit when my cortado was made with cow's milk instead of the almond milk I ordered and paid extra for. I didn't realize until I'd already taken a few sips. The staff were kind and quickly remade the drink, which I appreciated, but I did end up feeling unwell for a few hours afterwards. It's frustrating to pay an upcharge for non-dairy milk and then not receive it, so I hope more care can be taken with orders like this. I also think it's about time that the upcharge for non-dairy milk is reconsidered, even Starbucks is doing it!
