The absolute best part of Stella's is the house and atmosphere. It's a huge house on pearl st that has lots of cozy spaces for a date, studying, or reading. I've been here multiple times to study and it's always great. The food is okay! I got a bagel with cream and cheese and probably wouldn't get it again but would try something else. I'm not a big coffee girl but I got their jolly rancher drink and it was super sweet and tart- very yummy. The baristas are super nice and really welcoming. Would come back again! read more

This coffee tea house is such a gem. I have been here many times. Good coffee, good tea and foodies from local places. They have multiple rooms to meet in and support local art and events which creates a total gem. One of my favorite things about this place is they have hallway to put business cards. Service team is knowledgeable and friendly. Stellas is on the northern side of south Pearl Street and there is another coffee shop on the south side of Pearl Street that I have reviewed. Stella's is a hipster coffee shop located on Pearl Street. The ambiance felt very relaxing and the service was friendly. They have seating in the back or on their patio or side of the building. I really liked how Stella's pumpkin flavor for coffee is made in-house daily. I asked for my latte to be less sweet (and made with coconut milk)--which was perfect for giving my coffee a hint of pumpkin flavor without overwhelming the coffee. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a half-caffeinated coffee or decaf, Stella's doesn't offer either--which was disappointing--since I prefer decaffeinated or at least half-caffeinated when I do drink coffee, which isn't very often. Although I didn't partake in any food, I did like that they offered gluten-free items, which I've struggled with at several coffee houses. Overall, I would come back for tea or one of their gluten-free treats. read more

I love this place. They are so on the ball. They have so many good drinks, community, bulletin board to share things and local businesses. I've found cool places to visit from that area, I actually seek it out now each time I go in. They host many events so there really is community here. I love it, and the couches to hang out and have a deep conversation with some of my favorite people. 10/10! read more

I came here after visiting the farmers market since my friend wanted coffee. It's a nice café with a lot of seating outside. There was a long line when we got there, but it went by pretty fast. I got a mocha and it was tasty. We sat outside and there's a really nice breeze on a nice Sunday morning. Perfect area to people watch if you're into that. My husband goes to Stella's several times a month. Today he was told Stella's is no longer providing WiFi--AFTER he bought coffee and expected to "work from home." The place was almost empty, usually packed. If so, Stella's won't survive. Sad. read more

As much as many adore this neighborhood coffee shop (and I must say that I am one of those people), the most recent experience at Stella's was quite disappointing. It wasn't the service; it was the quality of the iced tea I got and it was none other than the Dream Tea. Yes, I did ask for some minor modifications/adjustments to it: less sweetness which I think the barista poured less (whatever the) syrup that's part of the tea's ingredients but when it came out the tea looked very white where there was barely any trace of tea visibly seen or even tasted in it at all. As a matter of fact, it tasted so bland to the point where I couldn't even finish it (so I threw out more than half of it.) I did notify them by writing a quick note in the reply function attached to the electronic receipt to which they never responded back. Very disappointing.... Now I know what not to order going forward. read more

The few other reviewers that mentioned that this is a "working coffee shop/cafe" are completely right. The patrons that sit inside are all students or professionals hard at work. If you are looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and chat with friends inside, this is probably not the place for you as it is also often hard to find seating. If the weather is nice, there are a few seating spots outside where you can enjoy conversing. With that being said, the coffee here is always amazing. It is about $5-$6 for a large cup of coffee (Chagaccino Latte and the seasonal specials [Citrus Got Real for springtime] are my favorite) depending on what you order and everything I've ordered here has been a hit. I also really enjoy walking around Pearl St with my coffee. During the daytime, there are nice boutique shops and pretty homes to look at. During the nighttime, it is a safe and peaceful area to walk around. read more

Pretty disappointed as far as coffee shops to study at go. No WiFi, the music playing was disruptive/ very loud (could hear it through my noise-cancelling headphones while studying, and people had to speak louder to be heard over it), drafty, and my London fog was mediocre. The place itself was cute and the staff were nice. There were many tables to sit at and comfy chairs, couches, etc. If you're stopping in to chat with friends, this wouldn't be a bad place to go. But as a student, I will not be back. read more

I love this coffee shop. The baristas are so nice, their drinks are delicious, and there is lots of room to sit. They have multiple rooms that lead into one another full of locally made art, people studying, and comfortable seating. The ambiance is warm and inviting. I did get some grumpy stares from nearby studiers while I quietly talked to my friend, but that's more on those particular people than Stellas. Maybe they could do a quiet room and a chatting room like they do on trains sometimes? Just an idea, but I love love this coffee shop and will be coming back many times :). read more

As soon as you're walking up to Stella's, you're embraced with beautiful and cute sitting arrangements, and than walk into a peaceful warming cafe. The barista's were welcoming and very accommodating to what options they have! The bar is adorable and the Art all around is lovely! I like Stella's- it's been a really long time since I've been here but it's go to be back. Too many couches and it's becoming less of a study spot with limited outlets :( It's always super packed, but now there's less seating arrangements to accommodate studying. My wife, adult son and I visited this coffee shop in Denver yesterday afternoon and we had a very pleasant, relaxing coffee experience! My wife and I had never been to this coffee shop before. The shop was on a very popular street in Platt Park in Denver, Pearl Street, parking was a bit of a challenge to find and had 2-hour parking limits within a couple blocks away, the outside was interesting with a big porch and deck with seating everywhere around tables with big umbrellas and portable heater units to keep you warm when it's cold, a nice serving areas with all kinds of hot and old beverages (including coffee, of course), food, pastries, sandwiches, etc., friendly baristas, excellent service, good coffee though it was strong, a ton of seating in multiple rooms that seemed to keep going and going, seating on the side of the building, a back entrance with a small, private parking area, free WiFi, and a clean restroom that didn't smell. read more

When it comes to a working coffee house, Stella's is textbook. Sitting pretty on Pearl Street, this is one of the most reliable coffee shops in all of Denver. I come here more often than I'd care to admit. To be honest, I stopped checking in on Yelp. I know, I know, shame on me! But the honest to god reason comes down to this: when I come to Stella's, I am the most productive version of myself. Employees are generally friendly and quick to serve. Your standard coffee and tea beverages, as well as a handful of parties and prepared items. When it comes to the food selection, I wish they sourced better items. If you're in a pinch, they'll do. Like I alluded to earlier, this is a WORKING coffee shop. If you're looking to catch up with a friend, you might want to take it outside to the patio, which is very nice when the weather complies. They do have heaters too! Now this place is usually mobbed with people. College students and working professionals sucking up every last bit of wifi until it's drier than a desert. The space itself is funky, a maze of different sized rooms with various tables and chairs. Expect to work close to somebody else while you're here. The downside of this place are the guests themselves. I hate when one person takes up an entire table for four. This isn't your house, respect others while you're here. Although the space is big considering it's a coffee shop, you often feel cramped. Stella's is in a great part of town. Heck, it's across the street from Sushi Den! I'll continue to drink too many Americanos and be my most productive self. read more

Got the London fog - delicious and husband got the cortado - really good, almost like the one we had in PR (he's so picky about his coffee). A regular haunt of mine, and highly recommended for anyone in the area. Stella's makes a wonderful drink (get their homemade syrups if you can--it's on another level!) Even walking in the shop feels like I'm on a nostalgic day trip with a childhood best friend. it oozes with cozy, eclectic ambiance, with little rooms filled with tables of friends to be made, and walls loaded with local art, or books, or sticky note doodles. and... quite possibly the most important part: its open late! a great stop for a book club, an afternoon of work, or an after dinner decaf when you step out of one of the many restaurants nearby. read more

This place is so cool. Lots of delicious drink options, with a rotating seasonal drink menu. Walk inside and find different rooms to sit in at every twist and turn. They also have a nice porch with a number of seating options. It's definitely a great place to stop at for a coffee after perusing the Pearl St Farmers Market, and if you get a spot on the porch you can get in some people watching. Also, they are open late! So many local coffee shops are closed by 4 or 5, so it's great to know this is an option for an evening coffee date. read more

I do love this place but I went recently and ordered a matcha and a sandwich. I waited for my matcha and then sat outside to work for maybe 45 minutes to work. I forgot about the sandwich and went home. I came in the next day and told them I forgot about the sandwich and they were like "yea it sat there for an hour" and then proceeded to take my order.. I feel like any other place would have offered to give you a new one. It's not like it was some elaborate expensive sandwich. I imagine Stella's is what Starbucks used to be in the very beginning before it became a choreographed operation of precision execution. Stella's has everything Starbucks has -- lots of seating, designer coffee drinks, and sweet treats to enjoy. The difference is when you enter Stella's you're greeted with charm and personality instead of sanitized efficiency. The people taking your order are personable, make eye contact, and patiently listen to your order. The sweet treats are a step up from Starbucks. Don't get me wrong. I like Starbucks and I enjoy the treats from their display case. But the treats in Stella's display case aren't ones chosen by Corporate because their marketing research says they are the best choices. The sweet treats at Stella's tasted like someone went to a really good bakery looking for them and picked the ones they thought were incredible. The place is designed with lots of private places to sit and enjoy your coffee and friends. The ordering area is cozy, but you can walk to the back of the interior and there are quiet rooms where you can camp out. There is also another half of the building with a separate entrance in the front that would accommodate a large group or offsite office meeting. The front has a porch and raised deck to sit on and there is a patio area between the sidewalk and the building that has seating. There are also seats along the north side of the building and tables with umbrellas in the back if you don't mind sitting where the only view is of the alley. I'm glad I finally visited Stella's and I look forward to doing it again every time I visit Pearl Street. read more

I got the worst chai tea latte here that I've ever tasted. I was really disappointed because I know a lot of people love their drinks. My mom got a seasonal drink and it was really good. The tea barely had any flavor. It kind of tasted like hot water with a touch of cinnamon, I'm hoping that they just made a mistake and added too much water?
