Funny enough, our first experience with Doppio was because a delivery driver got all the way to our place, messaged "I don't have your order," and basically vanished into history. We waited awhile hoping it would somehow resolve itself, then finally just drove there ourselves about 35 minutes later. Honestly? Worth it. I got the seasonal red velvet iced latte and it was genuinely one of the best dessert-style coffee drinks I've had in a long time. And I say that as someone who has been an off-and-on barista since my first Starbucks job in 1999. Sweet without being overwhelming, actually tasted intentional, and didn't just feel like syrup dumped into coffee. The shop itself is very clean, sunny, modern Denver coffee aesthetic with tons of seating if you want to stay awhile. Parking was also surprisingly easy between the street parking and the small paid lot next door. read more

Very large open space coffee shop! Walking in I was surprised at how much space there was inside, lots of spots to sit and work at. I got the lychee osmanthus matcha from their summer menu. It was delicious, but a bit too sweet for my liking after that whole cup. Strong lychee and floral flavor, could not taste much of the matcha though. Only qualm with this place is that it's quite pricey for a cup. $9.25 for a cup. read more

Yes they do have ube and pandan options but $21 for two iced latte excluding tips is a lot!!! The only substitution I made was oat milk in my drinks. I think this is a good spot but I will probably skip because I felt our drinks were very runny and lacked any sort of creaminess in them. The Ube was barely there. They do have a box of pet treats so I'm glad my pup was happy but will probably try other matcha places before returning to doppio! read more

Fun and unique selection of coffee, tea, and pastries. Many flavors/options I haven't seen often as well as the classics. I tried a lychee osmanthus iced latte and coconut croissant and both were incredible. The latte was fruity and floral without being overly sweet and I was still able to taste the coffee. Cute spot and there's free street parking or a lot right next to the building. read more

On my ongoing mission to try as much matcha across Colorado as possible, I stumbled upon this cozy little coffee spot right on the corner of Colfax--and I'm so glad I did. They offer a great balance of coffee and matcha options, plus a small but satisfying breakfast/brunch menu that makes it easy to linger a little longer. Naturally, I couldn't resist ordering the matcha cloud, and it absolutely delivered. The ratio of coconut water to matcha cream was spot on--smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced without being too sweet. It's one of those drinks you keep thinking about after you leave. I also ordered the avocado toast, and honestly, every detail was just right. The bread was toasted to perfection--not too hard, not too soft--with a generous layer of avocado spread across every inch. The cherry tomatoes added a nice burst of freshness, and the sprinkle of bacon tied everything together beautifully. It was filling without being heavy, which made the whole meal feel just right. Fair warning: this place is popular. Both times I've visited, it's been pretty busy regardless of the day or time. That said, I've always managed to find a seat. Despite the crowd, it never feels too loud--there's a calm, easygoing vibe, and I noticed plenty of people settled in with their laptops or books, making it a great spot to get some work done or just unwind for a bit. The matcha cloud and avocado toast are definitely my go-to order now, but I'm already looking forward to coming back and working my way through more of their menu. read more

Overall, just okay. I tried the black sesame matcha, jasmine matcha, mango matcha and vanilla coffee. The best was the jasmine matcha. The black sesame 3/5, very nutty flavor that hid the matcha completely. Mango matcha 2/5 not my favorite since the mango gave the matcha an odd almost fermented taste. Jasmine 4/5 nice floral flavor that didn't overpower the matcha. Vanilla coffee 3.5/5 just average but pretty solid coffee flavor. read more

I got the ube matcha latte and I loved it because it wasn't too sweet. It was pretty busy for a Friday at noon but I got my drink pretty quickly. Doppio Coffee is a lovely cafe with delicious coffee and food. The barista was meticulous in preparing my latte, and his design was beautiful. I enjoyed my bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in Denver. It was prepared fresh, and no microwave was used. They also offer catering. The space/atmosphere is inviting, and the seating is plentiful but spread out. The noise level is low, and conversation is a pleasure at this location. Parking is limited to city street parking. This is a cafe that is perfect for meeting a friend or friends when you are interested in great conversation, or if you want alone time to relax, focus, and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. read more

Best black sesame matcha I've had yet. It was rich and flavorful. The cream on top was to die for. The only hitch? $9.25 I'd go 2x a week if it was half the cost but spending almost $10 on a drink in this economy is not possible. It hurts. Might come back! read more

Coffee is mid, I'm sure it would've been better but this place took over 45 minutes to get my coffee delivered. I had 3 doordashers go to the shop and the barista never said it was ready. When I called they gave me attitude for even asking about my order. Will not return read more

While traveling to Denver, we stopped at this coffee spot multiple times for the black sesame with espresso drink and the black sesame matcha drink. I also had the pandan latte (pictured) that was delicious, but hands down, the black sesame coffee was the best. Compared to many other shops, their black sesame flavor actually shown through without being overpowering. I will say that a friend ordered the Saigon coffee and it tasted quite watered down. Service was pretty good considering how busy they get. Great place to chill and catch up with friends over coffee. read more

I always look forward to the seasonal drinks and was very intrigued with the passion fruit matcha. I ordered that with almond milk, and I'm not sure the 3 flavors paired well together as they seemed to compete with each other... the matcha was slightly bitter and the passion fruit was subtle, but could make it out. I don't think I'd ordered this again, but would return to try other drinks! read more

The drinks were fantastic! My husband ordered a banana foster ice latte, and I opted for the banana ice matcha. Both were incredible, and I'd definitely return for the drinks. However, I had an issue with my berry brie cheese sandwich. Everything seemed great until I took a bite and pulled out a hair from the melted cheese. I understand if my hair fell on it, but there's no way my pulled-back hair in a ponytail would be lodged in the cheese. When I brought up the food, they offered to replace it, but I lost my appetite. At that point, I wanted my money back. They were understanding about that. However, the situation escalated when they asked what I had ordered. They interrupted me and said, "Got it," without even listening. Then, for a while, all three baristas stared at me. I don't know if they were trying to figure out how to refund me or what, but their expressions were not pleasant. When I looked back and smiled, they just had a mean face on. I went up with my card to try to help, but the person seemed frustrated. They told me they would bring the receipt out. At the end, they apologized, but honestly, the staring and the looks were unnecessary. If they were confused, they should have asked or let me finish explaining what I ordered. So, for now, I won't be returning to this restaurant. Stuff happens, but during the entire experience, I felt like I had done something wrong. Being watched the whole time was not enjoyable for me. read more

Love Doppio Coffee. Great space with amazing lattes and many choices for food. For a coffee shop, the price for the food is slightly higher, but not too bad. So many creative choices for coffee. The burrito I ordered was delicious and tasty. I was able to walk from my apartment and stay here for about 3 hours. The only downside I would say is when they have their garage patio door open and it can be a little hot on a sunny day. Otherwise, can't go wrong here. read more

My life-long love: coffee, has led me to Doppio. NGL, this place is super unassuming on the outside. But on the inside? Understated, clean and welcoming. Lots of seating and staff is nice and attentive. I tried the DAR mocha based on the staff's recommendation. Rich in gorgeous and slightly fruity chocolate flavor.Amazingly balanced with espresso and subtly sweet. Not Starbucks sickeningly, diabetes-sweet. It was SO good in fact, I asked for another recommendation and tried the Palm Sugar Pandan latte. Again, insane levels of balance: coffee, nutty and rich rounded pandan, and a deft touch of palm sugar. This is an absolutely STUNNING cup of coffee you should embrace and share. read more

Stopped in here to grab a quick drink and breakfast. It was pretty disappointing from the start. My chai was way too gingery and the breakfast burrito was awful. I've never had potatoes with that texture--dry, like day old French fries that you microwave to reheat but you end up over heating and they become rock hard. I had to pull all of them out. Not worth it in our opinion. Overpriced and not good. read more

The seasonal menu at doppio is fantastic! I tried the strawberry matcha and the orange dreamcicle iced latte and both were so flavorful and had such a fun summery vibe that we cannot wait to come back! First coffee we tried in Denver, and wow, we were impressed. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and felt a warm Colorado welcoming. Inside, the cafe was clean, calm, and other customers either chatting or doing work. We got the usual, iced vanilla latte, iced lavender latte, and a pain au chocolat. As a coffee connoisseur, this is definitely one of the best coffee I have ever tried. It was smooth and not too bitter. We loved the lavender too but the vanilla def hit the spot. The pastry was different to what I'm used to but it was still so good. Not only was the coffee good, but the staff are also so nice and friendly I would come back just to see how they're doing. Only downside was the inconvenient bathroom accessibility, and that its location, but I def recommend this place. read more

Overall experience was decent. I got a matcha latte and sat down to work for a minute before my lunch meeting. It felt a bit sterile, like a go to place to get a little work done, but there were some interesting characters in there.
