3-star might justify based on everything I experienced at this coffee shop today. Its inconspicuous existence (especially the secondary door that is facing Larimer) is quite intriguing. Utilizing the existing brick walls, the interior layout is creative with all sorts of art. Their location is their luckiest part as it consistently draws steady footprints. It thus gets packed in a few seconds. It offers (firstly) coffee based drinks. It does have a kitchen where they make more than just pastries and the like. It's definitely more than a simple coffee shop for sure. Service, however, was quite basic. The lady upfront smiled but hesitantly. She wasn't rude but I simply didn't feel welcome. Hence describing their current customer service system or skills as "good" might fuel their egos (wow, did I really say that?? LOL!!) My quad latte was decent/good. I could have done less espresso shots as it sure was strong or too strong (this wasn't their fault; it was mine.) Yes, in conclusion, the shop can and should refine its service (upping it one more level might draw solid raves from the people). Well. loved my cortado made with oat milk and sweet bloom beans. In some ways, i like that they use other roasters beans, in other ways it doesn't really set them apart. They price that they know their stuff by offering specific blends for different methods which i appreciate. location is fun, right across from barcelona wine bar. that being said, parking is a bit hit or miss which can be frustrating. it's all street parking as far as i'm aware. a big strength is the variety of seating, wrapping all the way around to the back and outside to the patio! overall i really enjoyed my experience and will be visiting again. read more

Quality coffee from good baristas that know what they're doing. Good food, and pretty unique in the denver brunch scene with their quiches being the real standout and is always what draws me in light of Denver's competitive brunch and coffee scene's. The vibe reminds me of a college coffee house, its a very strange layout. But its casual, counter service, walk in and find a table kinda place. The main knock is your drinks and food can come at wildly different times, but if you're having a nice slow casual morning or maybe looking for a place to read or study then this is a perfect spot. read more

Fantastic food and drinks with a fun, funky, local vibe. They have a top notch pastry selection that sells out quickly, so be sure to go early. They also have a great breakfast all day menu and some solid lunch options too. When I went they had an absolutely bomb Birria grilled cheese, but I unfortunately don't think it's a regular item. I LOVE Crema Coffee House! It's my favorite coffee shop in the RiNo neighborhood. They have a great selection of food options, some rotating quiches and some standing bakery items. I typically order an iced chai tea with oat milk and it's delicious. I recently tried the sweet potato waffle and it was incredibly good. The staff is super sweet and helpful if you ask for suggestions. There's plenty of tables inside, and there's also an outside patio (dog friendly!) that's lovely in the warmer months. Needed to kill some time and this was down the street from a shop we were at. Street parking wasn't as easy as it should be in the middle of the week, but we found one. It was short walk and had an hour before they closed. It was pretty quiet, a few people working and some chatters. Small, but cozy place. I wouldn't mind bringing some work here and enjoy the people watching, sip some latte, and work. It was quick and easy with the barista. I had a caramel latte and my friend ordered a juice. Wow, the latte was perfection. It was rich and creamy, bold but not too bold, flavorful and it was the perfect late afternoon latte. I loved it. My friend was jealous, while sipping her fresh juice. Did not plan to visit or review this place however after grabbing lunch up the street - my friend suggested it for a nice little post lunch pick us up. Really quaint spot - a lot of customers drinking their beverages, relaxing, talking etc. the menu is diverse & has a great selection of things on it - truly I mean there's a beet & goat cheese salad on there! (Another day beet salad - another day!) I ordered a flat white & my friend a latte both were almost literal coffee perfection. Quite literally one of the best flat whites I've had in years. The quiche is the bomb - flakey and light pastry, rich egg custard goodness with whatever filling is on tap that day. The outside patio dining is shady and dog-friendly. Crema coffee house is so great!! We stumbled upon it a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I split the chickpea salad and the sandwich they had on special. We weren't really expecting much because we didn't research the place at all, just looking for a quick snack. Boy were we're surprised!! The food was so good. I didn't know which cold brew to get to so the barista let me try each type. I ended up going for the nitro cold brew, which I had never had before. So good!! The ambiance in here is also amazing. The food and atmosphere here are outstanding! The pastries are over the moon delicious! The coffee is good and strong! The chai is also delicious! The staff has generally been pretty friendly, not everyone is super personable, but they are never rude. This is a very busy shop! If you plan to eat there I would check for a seat before you place your order just so you know if you'll have one or not. The place is filled with beautiful art and flyers for local events. My biggest wish for this location is outdoor seating on the street. It appears they have a back patio but I have never seen anyone use it and am unsure about the status of that. After living in the area for two plus years, I have finally tried this spot! It's wayyy bigger than I realized. Huge patio and lots of indoor seating. The barista was incredibly friendly. The iced latte was pretty tasty and I love the cute glass they served it in. They have all house made syrups. (Just fyi there isn't a sugar free syrup option!)
