We walked in at about 12:30 and we were the only ones there. The place is charming and very cozy. Not sure if this is typical but we had to wait for one of the waitresses to come into work to place our order--we were welcomed to sit but waited about 40 minutes before we ordered. Once the food came, it was fantastic and we also ordered a couple of specialty croissants to go-- they looked like works of are and equally tasted delicious. Highly recommend but make sure you're not in any rush.

This place had such great reviews and I love a little neighborhood spot like this but was SO disappointed. I couldn't even finish my latte - tasted watery, burnt, etc like the equivalent of a McDonald's latte or something. The croissants were tasty and really pretty but overpriced for what it was. Cute outdoor patio seating! I want to give this place another go because maybe we just had a one-off experience!

Great find! Just off of Colfax, on a side street hides this neighborhood gem. We had a great breakfast (I had the crispy potato and eggs bowl) and a top- notch latte. Friendly staff, with obvious love poured into creating a welcoming environment. I had planned on getting one of those amazing looking croissants, but ran out of room in my tummy. Next time getting a latte and one of those croissants!!!!

What an awesome hidden gem! Flavors burst for your taste buds! So many pastries to choose from but don't neglect the entrees! Our table had potato soup, avocado toast, egg sandwich & shakshouska. Service was excellent, atmosphere comfortable & cozy. Absolutely divine! You can thank me later!

    Yummy desserts.

Lovely hole on the wall place. Great ambience, great vibe. Food was delicious and the different infused waters are lovely. I really liked the rose water. Also the decor was welcoming and fall-inspired. Will be back again! I had the egg sandwich, but will have to try one of the pretty deserts too next time.

Cute tea spot ! They had multiple options and a ton of gluten free options. The service was wonderful.

Had the salmon croissant for lunch~ spectacular! For dessert, shared the pistachio, raspberry with gold dust with my sweetie~decadent.

Matcha and food were AMAZING! We got a burrito and an egg bowl and the food was fresh, had great flavor, and had a beautiful presentation! Very friendly family, cozy space, and the decor was unique and charming. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful place. Owner is a culinary genius. Food is remarkable and made by hand. Clean, friendly with a cute patio.

Mocha with my extra $1 of chocolate?

This place is cute has a ton of decor to give you coffee shop "vibes". Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee. The coffee was fantastic, the have a wide array of special croisssants like a kanafeh croissant and kinder chocolate. Gives off middle eastern vibes with some of their sweets? Me and a guest both got the breakfast sandwich it came beautifully presented and was pretty good. What shocked me was the price tag, for 2 sandwiches, 2 special coffees and 1 cinnamon roll the bill was $57 and change. I was kind of shocked so I asked for an email receipt so a mocha was $6.50 with a $1 up charge for chocolate- like isn't that what a mocha is? Why would u charge $1 for the chocolate on top? The sandwiches were $11 each PLUS additional $2 each to add sausage? So now they're $13 each. Then the cinnamon roll was $7!!!! Like these prices are a bit outrageous $2 each upcharge on avocado, tomato and sausage so a regular $8.99 breakfast sandwich is what, just egg and bread? Wow! I am all for small business but this was outrageous for cost and overall wasn't like amazing sandwich. I've eaten across the way at La Fillette for less and gotten amazing coffee and Benedict or omelette. Don't see myself coming back.

Looking for a place to get cofer and a danish and stimbled onto PH Hub! What a gold mine of a find - ambience was so cozy and welcoming with the cutest place settings, soft music, decor was very eclectically designed and the owner was so attentative. However I would and could go on about the food and how great it was but would rather share these pics!! You have to bisit this great neighborhood find!!

Cute coffee shop and bakery on Ivanhoe. It's behind Colfax, so easy to miss if you don't know it's there. Also means there's not a huge crowd for better or worse. I ordered a chocolate, caramel croissant. I didn't realize they were made to order, and there was just one person working, so it took a while to receive, but overall it tasted good. Coffee was reasonably priced, pastry was expensive. Also the person working seemed a little aloof, but that might just be because he was trying to manage everything himself. Not a bad experience, just not a super welcoming feeling. Overall, I think the quality of their products is good and it's worth a venture into.

It really gave me RVA (Richmond, VA circa early 2000s) nostalgia vibes like for places I worked in around Broadway during college! Wow. Love everything about this place. I'd been going to a lot of coffee shops lately where the style is all like new stuff and new style (which I LOVE) but the style of Tessa Delicatessen was so unexpectedly refreshing. I didn't realize that this part of Colfax was Park Hill! I saw a lot of other interesting places nearby. Can't wait to go back and wander! Not sure if it was the owner that greeted me at the register but she was very friendly and warm. I love the self serve coffee and water and you get to pick a unique mug to drink from. Really strong neighborhood vibe and I think she said it had been open since 2017. So cool! I'm obsessed with the spaciousness and space! My breakfast sandwich did explode all over my hand - so be careful! The egg is soft inside! I got coffee, cheesy hash and the breakfast sandwich. $25 for everything including tip. I think that's a great deal for a lovely morning vibe and breakfast in 2026!

We started with their traditional black eyed pea soup because good luck traditions matter. Shortly after, I "found" three dollars in my coat pocket. Was it already my change from the store? Yes. Did I still credit the soup? Also yes. From there, we leaned fully into deli mode. The cheeseburger was solid and satisfying, the Reuben hit all the right notes, and the macaroni salad was exactly what you want it to be. No frills, just done right. Dessert sealed the deal. The cheesecake was rich without being heavy, and the carrot cake was genuinely excellent. Tessa feels like one of those neighborhood spots you can come back to again and again. Comforting, straightforward, and very good at what they do. Fortune and prosperity aside, this place is worth a visit on its own.

I've rocked the slicer, I've battled the lunch rush, and I've smiled through the chaos when 17 online orders printed at once and the toaster started making noises like it was possessed. So I know what it takes behind that counter. And let me say shoutout to the crew working the other night. It was hopping, and they were hustling! But real talk... the vibe at the front counter? Could use a little extra snarf love. A smile, a "thanks for waiting," a moment of sandwich-inspired human kindness. You know, the stuff that keeps people coming back just as much as the spicy giardiniera. Because at the end of the day, SNARF'S isn't just about what's between the bread it's about the people behind the counter and the ones waiting to get their hands on that cheesy, meaty masterpiece. Leven Deli Co. is what would happen if Ron Swanson opened a Jewish deli in downtown Denver and let…read moresouthern blues play over the speakers while he worked. There's no performance here, no hospitality theater, no one asking how the first few bites are treating you. You walk up to the counter, you order, you take a number, you sit down. The food does the talking. And the food has a lot to say. I went on a bright Wednesday morning with a couple of friends and ordered the classic breakfast, swapping bacon for pastrami (a first for me) with an everything biscuit on the side (also a first). Both were revelations. The eggs over-hard might be the best version of that order I've ever gotten from a restaurant -- just a whisper of uncooked yolk in the center, perfectly seared on both sides. Skillet potatoes were spot-on. The skillet pastrami was rich and properly crisped at the edges. And the two generous slices of sourdough arrived with a scratch-made blueberry jam that I ended up smearing on everything I could -- sourdough, biscuit, probably would've eaten it with a spoon if no one was looking. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which clearly belongs in the staples category. The baguette was the star: toasted outside, pillow-soft inside, zero tug-of-war with your teeth. That detail alone tells you the kitchen cares. This is the Ron Swanson part: there's an unapologetic confidence to this place. They know exactly what they're doing, they're not trying to oversell it, and they're not interested in charming you into liking it. They're just going to hand you something excellent and trust you to figure out the rest. The coffee was good. The food was setting-a-benchmark good. A real 5 out of 5 stars, no pickin nits. Mild observation, not a complaint: the service is counter-only, no traditional table service. Would Matthew McConaughey or Reese Witherspoon dropping plates off elevate the experience? Sure. But Ron wouldn't have it any other way, and honestly, neither would I after eating here. If I lived within 45 minutes of downtown Denver, this would be my destination breakfast. As it is, I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if it were only 11, perhaps I'd go tomorrow. The real downside? The food was so good I completely forgot to take a picture.
