Cobb Salad Mother Clucker Zapp's Voodoo Chips Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Taylor T.

-1 Star due to bad brown avocado. I tried to salvage what I could but it was brown on both sides with little black dots throughout. Disappointed that this was served on a "fresh" salad. Overall everything was really tasty for what you expect from a salad/sandwich shop. I especially loved the white bread on the Mother Clucker. You could tell it was fresh, and it wasn't overwhelming with ratio to meats and everything else. I've never had the Zapp's chips before but they were worth a try. It's like a blend of BBQ and Salt & Vinegar chips IMO. The brownie was also nice, not rock hard or stale, but moist and sweet. First time visiting and I'd like to go back again, but hopefully the avocado will be better as we were jipped this time.

Italian Sandwich (Salami, Pepperoni, Capicola, Mortadella & Provolone Cheese)
Clay T.

Love trying a new sandwich place! My go to is always Italian and wasn't disappointed. Bread was very fresh and the best part for me. Service was fast after ordering through Uber eats. Store is cute with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Surrounding area off Colfax is not great but getting better as lots of new shops move in. Only complaint would be the large sandwich was $18 which is pretty pricey though not too far off competitors anymore.

1/4 of an Italian pro excellent sandwich!

I wish there were more substantial carb options on the menu or a side of bread to add to the salads. The greens are extremely tender and I thought the salad was dressed really well, it's just difficult to justify paying almost $20 for a lunch that is not filling. As soon as you walk in you can see their hydroponics system growing the most beautiful produce. You can also purchase their handmade dressings and greens to go!! They then use all this incredibly fresh and flavorful produce to craft intricate salads, soups, and sandwiches. All salads and soups can be ordered gluten free, and there are many vegan / vegetarian options. We ordered the lotus salad, lazeena salad, and tomato bisque. I was so jealous of the zhougg sauce on the lazeena that I ordered a side of the sauce for the lotus salad, it was an incredible addition!! The soup was the perfect compliment, and we were absolutely stuffed when we left. These portions are huge! Seriously check this place out for the ultimate sustainable, clean, organic, delicious, and stunning meal.

I ordered takeout, and before I even got to the food, the customer service stood out. The woman at the front, who I think may be the owner, was so kind and funny. She even walked my bag out from behind the counter to hand it to me personally and sent me off with so much warmth. Small gesture, but it honestly made the experience memorable. Now the food...wow. The Jalapeño Crab Cheese Wontons were packed with flavor and came with the perfect sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The Pork Roti was unreal and officially a must-order for me moving forward. I kept taking bites trying to figure out what ingredient made it taste THAT good. Then the Khao Soi with fried chicken completely sealed the deal. That curry deserves to be bottled and sold in stores. Go support this business. You can taste the care in both the food and the service.

Her top secret weapon (off Ploy's secret menu of course) is the Pineapple Express, an incredibly crispy and delicately fried chicken dish served with jasmine rice. The dining area is small but has a communal sense to it that immediately makes you feel comfortable. Service is fast and dialed in. You truly can't ask for more! This is a great spot to catch up with a friend or make a new one. Not too crowded, but there is a constant stream of, what seem to be, regular customers who have been frequenting this spot in a ritualistic way. I aim to join them after this first visit!

Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

This is a breakfast and light lunch spot with counter ordering and lots of takeout. However, if you dine in you receive real, solid silverware, linen napkins, and quality porcelain cups which really elevate the experience. There's seating for about 25 inside plus space for another ten outside. A large handicap ramp takes up a lot of the outdoor space, but provides excellent access. There's a good selection of baked goods and pastries, a wide selection of coffee drinks, a cooler with an interesting variety of sodas and healthy drinks, plus cocktails, wine, and beer. There are some breakfast plates, salads, soup, and sandwiches. There were a number of discrepancies between the Web site and the current offerings. That's always disappointing and leads me to think management is not on top of operations. A number of basic items were also unavailable. My girlfriend tried the Curry Bird which is curried chicken and turkey salad with sultanas, celery, red onion, and lettuce on a house-made croissant. She loved it and ate up every bite. I did not fare so well with my Woody Wood: house-roasted turkey, bacon, smashed avocado, tomato, lettuce, swiss cheese, cranberry relish, and tarragon aioli on ciabatta. That certainly sounds delicious. It was not. I don't like sandwiches that are served on totally dry bread and that was this. Not a hint of cranberry relish or tarragon aioli, much less butter, mayo, mustard, oil or anything else. The ciabatta was delicious, but dry as the Sahara. The staff was able to provide some mayo packets and that helped a bit. The turkey was dry and tasteless. House-roasted? Maybe by Hormel or Sysco. I needed a magnifying glass to find the bacon. "Smashed Avocado" is not the same as unseasoned guacamole that has been sitting out for far too long. To top it off, an unripe tomato and some sort of cheese that was certainly not Emmental. A very basic, ordinary supermarket sandwich, despite the good bread. Not what I expected. This is not the Olive & Finch I remember. Management has really dropped the ball.
