Pan Fried Shrimp & Pork Dumplings

Wow - this place has it all! The vibe as soon as you walk in is fun and well decorated, with Chinese motifs throughout. We were quoted 45 minutes to an hour for the wait (around 8:15 on a Friday), but we ended up only waiting about ten minutes before our table was ready. Once we were sat, our server Matt was attentive and took our drink order quickly. I got the Lychee Dynasty (essentially a Lychee paloma) which was lovely - it came with a cute flower garnish, which made for an even more Instagram-worthy date. Now for the food - absolutely unreal. We got the pan friend shrimp & pork dumplings, the spicy chicken soup dumplings, and the barbecue buns, all of which we would absolutely order again. We'll be back soon!

Seemed to be quite popular online and was pretty busy in person as well. Wasn't too happy with the long wait between when I was seated and when I actually had someone come to my table (about 10 minutes). My server also wasn't the best, however all the others I observed seemed really helpful and friendly. Definitely a unique experience, and the quality of their food seemed good as well.

By myself, just as they opened. Sat at the bar. Outdoor seating but not open yet ~ Warmer weather is on the way. The bartender was really nice. Only had water but she always had her eye on me and wasn't giving me the stink eye because I didn't order alcohol. Seaweed salad was good, lil sweet for me but great fresh texture. Pork/ shrimp steamed dumplings were okay. Looked really pretty. My chicken lomein was good too. Nothing special, lil runny but maybe it's just me who Prefers it more dry so I can grab it with my chopsticks.

Just want to add- had their happy hour recently on a Friday- great deals. Highly recommend! Quick service and it gets busy in there so definitely get there early! Ends at 5:30!

In town visiting a friend and she recommended we try this place as it's one of her favorite spots. We showed up around 5:30ish on New Year's Eve and were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. We decided to go next door to get a drink and I think the table was ready even before the 20 minutes which was nice. When we got back to the restaurant we were immediately sat. I love the concept of marking off what you want on the menu. The servers come around often if you want to order more or need anything else. The food comes out sort of slowly, which is nice cause the tables are sort of small (in a 2 person situation) so it's hard to fit everything at once or try everything at once. Everything I tried was delicious. I wish I came here with more people so I could try more of it.

Some amazing Asian food! Yes! I am so happy we found this place. I would recommend it! We got takeout and ordered online. We ordered 3 items: 1. Beef pancake rolls: so good!!! I love the giant crunchy cucumber. Love the flavor, beef was tender 2. Pan fried pork buns: amazing!! Juicy and tender and such good flavor 3. chicken lo mein: While the color of the dish was not appealing, it actually tasted quite nice. It has good flavor and wasn't overly salty I honestly wasn't expecting too much but this place surprised me so much! If you're in the mood for some Chinese food, I would totally go. Also, fun fact, this location has slightly higher prices than the Aurora location (at least for the dishes we ordered).

I honestly thought it was really good. They had great happy hour prices and the dumplings were all delicious and the dipping sauces were super good. My friend got a drink that was the bartenders choice for the day and it was good but kind of strong for my tastes. I recommend doing the Russian roulette dumplings because then you get to try them all. Their soup dumplings were also very good. Our server was polite and good at his job. I also overheard the bartenders talking about Magic the Gathering and wanted to talk to them but was too shy, so maybe you'll meet some cool people too.

Alert to all dumpling lovers! Did you know Nana's offers a dumpling making class?! It is just as magical as it sounds. They teach you how to create their pork and chive dumplings and in different shapes. P.S. I have a whole new appreciation for the ladies making dumplings in the back. It took me nearly 30 minutes to make the 8 dumplings in the pictures. The class was awesome. After the class they cook your dumplings for you and you get to enjoy your creations! Of course we ordered some of their amazing dumplings off the menu as well to compliment our homemade versions. Highly recommend checking this out!

I called ahead and was seated immediately without waiting at this location on a Sunday night. The parking lot is huge too unlike the other location which was an 1-1.5 hr wait. For food, I got Xiao long bao 4/5 were alright. They weren't too unique like other ones I had such as DTF or Paradise Dynasty. The shell is not too thick. Vegetable egg rolls 5/5 though like Panda Express. They were crispy and I have no complaint. Green beans 5/5 were so delicious with great flavor, not too spicy. The green beans were crunchy too. Truffle xiao long bao 3/5. My friend liked it but I couldn't taste the truffle. I had more truffle flavored xiao long bao from Costco. Red sea chili wonton 5/5. The sauce was perfect for these pork and shrimp wontons. Chicken and corn pan fried dumplings 5/5 were great too. I love the corn inside fillings. Beef chili 3/5 was so spicy. But I saw more seasonings than blade-thin beef. Pan fried pork bao 5/5 was delicious. They were crispy and not too fill of carbs. The filling was plenty. Salted egg yolk bun 5/5 came steamingly hot. I have my share of these buns. The ones here have coconut flakes outside which was more unique. Service was outstanding. The water chugs were included. I drank too much water and would hate waiting for refill. The food was served so fast too.

10/10 flavor! The ordering menu is a little weird and unwarranted.fun environment and all the servers were super nice!

Definitely a pricier fusion restaurant, but wow every item here was a hit! Most dishes' portions are on the smaller end. Drinks were beautiful and strong. Did not have to wait on Thursday night at 8pm but the restaurant was still quite full. I'd recommend: - stir fry udon - our favorite, such a great wok flavor! the flavor specifically reminds me of fishball with roe for some reason. - stir fried green beans - definitely has a fishier smell / taste, but i loved it - red sea wontons - thumpblings just ok: - beef pancake rolls - black bean spare ribs - XLBs we ended up paying around $90 per person including drinks, which was more than i hoped to pay, but we left very full! definitely highly recommend for a special occasion. service and ambiance was nice.

Service was great ! Ambiance is casual but cozy. I liked the interior. Food was average 3.5 stars. Didn't care for it that much. I'm not sure I would return.

This place definitely had pretty fresh food and quality ingredients. Some of the flavors were just a little off for my liking but that's not because of their ingredients. It's also a busy place especially on weekends! The noodle soup was tasty and everything came out pretty quickly. Overall good food and if you're a big dim sum person you'd like this place. Cute decor and it was really warm inside which is perfect in this weather.

What meat is in the signature bao?

    i believe pork

Are dipping sauces available for take-out?

When I ordered out they gave us plenty of dipping sauces!

Are there any round tables? What's the largest number of people to share a table, share dishes, and be able to socialize? 6? 8? 10?

We were at the big table next to the kitchen with a party of 10 and they treated us like family, call ahead and they will accomodate.

Are there any gluten free items?

There are a number of gluten-free items on the menu (i.e., rice dishes, vegetable dishes, seafood), but there is no option shown for the main dumpling offerings to be made gluten-free.

Are they open for lunch? Do they close between lunch and dinner service?

    Yes, they open at noon.

Took my girlfriend here for Valentines Day and we ordered Shishito pepper Brussels sprouts, pork belly bao buns, Xiao Long Bao, and the cheeseburger dumplings. Man, I'm already wanting to go back. We also had some Valentine's Day themed cocktails that were pretty good. The waiters and bartenders were so great at giving recommendations for cocktail preferences and were attentive to us. Great experience and always one of my faves.

The servers were attentive and great - highlight of the experience. The food looked good on paper but unfortunately weren't impressive. The Kobe Beef Dumplings were hot/warm at all leading me to believe they'd been sitting out. The Pork Xia Long Bao was decent but we've had better. The noodles and rice were good! Healthy portions to share with your table mates. Overall not a bad experience but don't go expecting the food to knock your socks off. The service is a great pace if you're looking to hang out with friends or go out on the date!
