Server was very friendly as was the host. Food was great, albeit mine came out just a little cold (probably the first one made) it was still DELICIOUS, and I finished the entire dish. Cocktails were a standout - rarely do I see more than 2 on a menu that genuinely look good to try. We had multiple. Would love to come back and try the Panang curry again without it being cold. Definitely see myself returning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was busy, clean, lively, but not too loud to hear your group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] FYI - if you go during the Rockies game parking WILL be difficult.
Came here for dinner with a group of 5 on a Tuesday. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very friendly. We got two sake bowls to share and it tasted amazing. We also got shrimp lettuce wrap, which was interesting but could be skipped. I got the bison kao soi and my friends got bison curry and bison drunken noodles. All the dishes were amazing. My kao soi had such flavorful broth and it's served with both soft and crunchy egg noodles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place for group meals and most main dishes were worth a visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Came here with some teammates while in town for a nearby conference. It wasn't too busy on a Thursday night, so we were immediately seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Server was very hospitable and the seating and ambiance were both comfortable - the hanging plants and fireplace make for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the Thai street barbecue, which is served with lemongrass chicken, papaya salad, and sticky rice. You can order how spicy you'd like it on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the spiciest. I got mild spice with level 2 and found it to be just right. The accompanying fish sauce was very strong but tasty. The only thing that could have been improved was the sticky rice, which was too dry and difficult to get out from the basket it was served in. My coworkers ordered level 3 and 4 spice for their dishes and were happy with how they came out. Overall would recommend this spot if you're looking for elevated Thai close to Denver's downtown area.
Did you know Aloy is on Yelp's Top 50 Restaurants list in the Denver area? I didn't either until recently when I attended an event where Aloy was presented as such. After having a couple of their dumplings, I was intrigued to try their other dishes, and Aloy did not disappoint us. Since there at least 4 locations, the one we went to is located near Coors Field, and it was easily accessible. We were greeted by Como, our waiter, who promptly seated us right away. While waiting, Como took our drink orders. Since we knew what we wanted to order, it didn't take long for the group made up two tables of diners, mild and spicy, to decide. Both tables were given a platter of 3 appetizers: crab cream cheese wontons, Brussels sprout, and corn fritters. Biting into my wonton, I was reminded how much flavors this wonton was filled when I had it at the event. It was creamy inside while the outside was crunchy. It was accompanied by a small slice of spiced orange. I thought the sprouts were cooked perfectly, and the corn fritters were very good. This appetizer platter came with a hot and sour sauce with chili. Its texture was like honey, but had a very distinct flavor, and I liked it a lot. Our 5 entrees came very quickly. One after other, so it was hard to keep up the flow. The first 2 dishes were the pad Thai with shrimp and the drunken noodles with chicken. While we were eating a couple of bites, the panang curry and the eggplant wok with pork were served. And so, the food must move on, and moved on they did: from our plates and bowl, to our mouths, and landed in our tummies. The last dish was the bison kao soi, which was a noodle dish with two different types of noodles where diners would pour the delicious golden broth over it, and then add toppings on top of the dish. Out of the 5 dishes, I would say my favorite dishes were the pad Thai, then the panang curry with its delicious coconut sauce. I didn't really get to enjoy the drunken noodles, but know it was very good from diners at my mild table. My least favorite? The eggplant wok dish with pork. The eggplant pieces were cut too thick, and the consistency wasn't what I expected it. We did order mango and sticky rice to share among 5 of us, but it wasn't enough for me to truly comment on this dessert, but diners should know that mango and sticky rice is a very common dessert to order at Thai restaurants. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was very nice. Lots of natural light was pouring into the windows, and we were able to have conversations without additional noise other than ourselves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Because of the eggplant dish, I would have to give their food a B+. Their service? A solid A. Remember: if you are near Coors Field, stop by for some excellent Thai dishes. Your taste buds and tummy will thank you!
We came again for happy hour and I stand by my statement- you cannot order a bad dish here. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 2-6pm, and you can't beat $5 appetizers and $5 cocktails. We ordered just about everything off the menu- egg rolls, wontons, potstickers, and the fried shrimp, then spent the rest of the time bickering about which was the best. Ultimately we didn't decide, but the fried shrimp was served with a remoulade sauce that took it to the next level. For drinks we did the Negroni, which we struggled with because it was very gin forward. Not our fave but I'm sure if you like gin you would enjoy it. I can't remember the names of the other cocktails and their website is hard to navigate and doesn't have everything on it, but they were SO strong (100 points to Gryffindor for that!). We also had the mango sticky rice, which was delicious- loved the sauce it came with. The food is amazing and may have ruined me for any other Thai restaurant. But the real star of this visit was our server, Corey. He was so friendly, so patient, and just willing to go whichever way we were going. We will be asking for his section next time we come in, and I suggest you do too.
My first time here and definitely mot the last. Talk about portion sizes! For how big everything is, the prices are totally reasonable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sit at the bar for a casual experience (full menu) or spice it up at a table with one of their wonderful servers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Shoutout to Nikki for taking care of us all night. I ordered the chicken thai rice at spice level 2/5 and I could not have gone any higher than that. I also had a smoky mezcal cocktail that was the perfect pairing with my flavorful dinner. Highly recommend the egg rolls as well. Delicious!
The food was absolutely delicious! We were the first to try the new fish on the menu and it was very delicate and flavorful. The Tom Kha Noodle Soup was my favorite and I can't wait to order it again. The service was great. Our server knew everything about the menu. One of my favorite comfort foods is pad see ew so I've tried it from my different places and sometimes the noodles are right. I liked that this menu had a choice of noodle. I ordered through DoorDash and was able to get what I was looking for! I got pad see ew with beef and an order of egg rolls. Everything came when expected. It was delicious and the noodles are the exact kind I love and I even had extra for leftovers. This will be a go-to for sure!
First time we went here, the service was memorable and in a really good way. We got there just in time for lunch and ordered Tom Kha, Panang Curry and Pad Kee Mao... all vegetarian. However as soon as the Panang Curry arrived, we knew something was fishy... it was the abundance of fish sauce in it. The server acknowledged this and substituted it for the Yellow Curry instead which is not usually our go-to but this place makes a really good version of it and they can spice it up real good as well. The rest of the food was amazing as well!! Photos are from first visit only Second time we went for dinner and while the food tasted consistently good, the service was mediocre. Also the Yellow Curry this time was more potatoes than actual curry and when we mentioned it to them, they didn't bother to make it right. We might still go again for lunch and hope to have a better experience than the dinner server team. The food is actually really good compared to other Thai spots around.
My husband and I came here for Restaurant Week last Sunday and had a great date night! My favorite dishes were the chicken golden bags and the pineapple compote dessert. Service was excellent, very friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I particularly loved the black and gold chairs. They hit my aching low back at just the right spot, and I just really appreciate a quality detail like that in a place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely be back for more of their yummy and beautiful food!

Very fun place. I lived in Thailand for two years all around the country. While the food isn't the most authentic according to my own experience, it is very close. Regardless of authenticity, everything I ate was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was awesome and the vibe was fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I definitely would come back again. My only complaint is the parking is very limited and difficult to access with a big vehicle. read more
Not as authentic as I had hoped but still hits the spot when I'm craving some Thai takeout during the week. The mango sticky rice is actually amazing. I tend to get the Tom Yum soup when I am sick. Food always comes out pretty quick! read more

Delicious Thai food. I had takeout from here, and it was ready very fast. I tend to always get Panang curry at Thai restaurants, and this one was among the best! It was a great combination of spicy and creamy with well cooked chicken. read more

Oh my goodness. Exceeded our expectations when we found this place online by chance! Visiting from a different state and was wanting to eat some Thai food, this place HIT THE CRAVING. Came to eat here with some co workers and this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Denver. I decided to get the pad thai with Thai hot spice and it was super spicy and a good balance between salty and sweet. We also got the papaya salad that really refreshing and the fried shrimp. This is my 3rd time here this month and the service is always top tier. It's also a really spacious restaurant with lots of seats. read more
Great find for Sunday night dinner before our flight out. I've never had aloy noodles, which are yellow curry noodles, but I'm glad I went with our server's recommendation to try it. My son polished off his Thai fried rice. The Thai fried basil with shrimp was also delicious with tons of crunchy vegetables in a savory sauce. read more
If you're in Denver and craving Thai food, Aloy provides great food and portion sizes. I dropped by with 3 coworkers during dinner time (~7pm) and we were immediately sat. We shared two appetizers: fried green beans and spicy edamame. The battered green beans were crunchy and delicious without being overly greasy, overly salty, or overly cooked. The sriracha it was paired with was also very tasty! The edamame balanced sweet, salty, and spicy nicely. For my main, I opted for the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) with chicken. I ordered spice level 3 of 5 and it was the perfect amount of spice. While a huge portion, I finished the entire plate -- it was tasty! The servers checked in our table a few times throughout our stay; my only point of feedback is that when the apps were served we weren't given any utensils and had to go inside to request them. read more

We ordered take out for dinner one evening. Their online ordering platform is user friendly and easy to navigate. We ordered the duck wontons, potstickers, tofu pad Thai, and beef pad see ew. The food was prepared on time and the portions were generous. For the starters, the duck cream cheese wontons really stood out- nice and crispy and super flavorful. We really enjoyed both noodle dishes. We got the pad Thai at medium spicy which we agreed was a solid base spiciness and might go up one more step next time. We'll definitely be ordering again! read more
It had been a couple years since I been here, but went for a work lunch last week and so happy we did! Excellent food and friendly service. My coworkers got the pad Thai and a chicken dish (I don't recall the name) and I got the seasonal pumpkin curry with a spice level of hot. The spice level was perfect. I usually order "medium plus," but since that option wasn't available I went with hot and it was chef's kiss. Enough to make me heat up and a bit of a runny nose, but not too hot to overpower the flavor. Speaking of flavor.. I was concerned that the pumpkin curry would be a bit sweet because of the pumpkin, but it wasn't. It was a great flavor profile that had a bit more depth than the average panang curry. SO glad I got it. My coworkers enjoyed their meals as well. Forgot to mention that for a starter, we split the fried egg rolls. They came with three total and so each of us got a full egg rolls. These were incredibly tasty and everyone loved the sauce it came with. My coworkers enjoyed their got a Thai tea and I got a cucumber refresher. And refreshing it was! So light and crisp. Service was fast and very friendly. They were steady in visitors for a weekday afternoon. Last thing I need to mention is portion sizes. You really are getting a good bang for your buck here. Each of took home at least one more meal's worth of food. I love that each of us were able to enjoy our food for a second time. Now that I've been reminded just how good this spot is, I'm looking forward to going back! read more
Went here for lunch today and had a very pleasant experience. Ordered the bison Khao Soi and it was a large portion and very tasty! You choose your spice level from 1-5 and 3 was perfect for me (I enjoy spice but don't want it to overpower the food). Service was fast & friendly. Restaurant was spacious and nicely decorated. Absolutely delicious pad Thai!!! This is definitely now in my top five pad Thais ever. I got it with pork. I paid around $25 in total, but it lasted me two meals. They have bison dishes, which is really cool. I know it's a thing in Denver, but I have never seen anything like that in a Thai restaurant. This was hands-down the best Thai food that I have ever had! The Duck Wontons were unbelievable- never had anything like them and I am so glad that I tried them! And the Bison Mussamun was so good! You could have almost chewed the bison without teeth, and the broth and veggies were amazing. Be warned- when you order a "3" heat-wise, it is a REAL "3" and has a lot of kick! The next time I'm back in Denver, I'm making sure to make a return visit here! read more

This is a great Thai place. The drink was nice and crisp, not sweet at all. The duck was delicious. The curry was perfect, you can't taste the shellfish in it. Service was quick and kind. I would recommend dropping in. read more
This women owned restaurant exceeded our expectations. We were able to get seated right away. We were greeted with such a welcoming server. Such a cool vibe, quiet when we sat down with the kids. They brought plastic bowls for the kids which was a plus because we know how kids can spill easily. We ordered the shrimp pad Thai, spicy but it was by far the best pad Thai I've had in my life, the green curry was delish, the mango sticky rice was perfect. We had two drinks, old fashioned and mine was a Thai tea with a twist, like a cosmopolitan style. This was such an amazing spot and we can't wait to come back and visit again! read more

Absolutely wonderful. The Bangkok wraps were yummy, a bit hard to eat but worth the hassle. The sake bowl could only be ordered for 2 people but my dinner mates could have finished it one their own as individuals (maybe just them... who knows) When dinner plates arrived, everyone dove in immediately because it all smelled so good! So, no dinner photos... sorry. The Tom Yum soup without noodles is a perfect serving size and delish. The Bison Mussamun was a scrumptious fusion of beef stew and red curry. The beef was fork tender, the potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the onions and peppers were the right level of "cooked but crisp" The Kao Soi was a warm hug in a bowl. From the Fall off the bone tender chicken to the creamy coconut curry broth full of noodles, this soup exceeds expectations. The drunken noodles were a delicious sweet-spicy-salty. And, the salmon that they served was tender and its crispy exterior went well with the noodles. read more
Aloy Modern Thai was recommended by a friend and had some good Yelp reviews, so we made a reservation for our party of four. It's a laid back restaurant on a very busy street and we dined inside. We ordered: Fried Egg Rolls $ 9.00 Duck Wonton $12.50 Corn Fritter: $7.50 Siracha Noodle: $20.00 Tom Yum Noodle Soup: $20.00 Pad See Eew: $20.00 Pad Thai: $20.00 The appetizers were excellent, the corn fritters were crispy outside and soft and tasty inside. The Duck Wonton was nicely prepared and also tasty. My Pad See Eew was perfectly cooked, moist with wide tender noodles, a nicely executed dish. We'd be happy to return here! read more

Everything that was got tasted so amazing. We were so surprised that we found this place for dinner. The service was really good and our waiter was very attentive. Tom Kha soup with chicken was so flavorful that I think this place makes it better than my hometown Thai restaurant. Thai Fried Shrimp was super crispy and the dipping sauce paired very well with it. You can never go wrong with some Crab Wantons. Drunken Noodles with Shrimp was a show stopper. The flavors and its spicy level (which was a 3) was perfection. 10/10 for food and service. If I ever find myself back in Denver I will most definitely be coming to Aloy Modern Thai. read more
I treated three friends during a trip to Denver. After some web search, I chose Aloy Modern Thai for very good reviews and not exorbitant prices. And it turned out to be the right decision. I made an online booking. We ordered four dishes. The food came reasonably quickly, was plentiful, and very tasty. My friends were full of praise of the food and hence of my choice. It was a little noisy though because the place was full. Would gladly go there again. read more
Run straight to this amazing Thai restaurant. Food was off the chain good. Absolutely delicious. Service was incredible, ambiance was really nice. Restaurant was packed and people were lining. Up to come in as we leave. The beef drunken noodles was really delicious! What surprised me the most was the appetizer green beans that were very lightly coated with breading, it was to die for. My friend and I stumbled on to this place Friday night and WOW did we fall into the perfect restaurant. The Bison noodles Kao Soi I think it was called was DIVINE. The broth rich and creamy. Perfect amount of noodle to meat ratio and damn it sat so well in my stomach. Our server was awesome too. Funny inviting and had great commendations. Brought out a plethora of sauces for us to try instead of the peanut sauce because I am allergic. The resturant was full but not loud enough to where you couldn't hear the person across from you. Me and my friend walked by the mexican restuartant next door because we were feeling tacos but the music was blarring so lout that we looked at each other and silently thought "nah...we would have to scream at each other to talk" So happy we chose Aloy Modern Thai and will definitely be back as it's only been 3 days and I'm craving that Kao Soi again.
