It's a small place and gets busy so plan accordingly. We ordered a bunch of dishes and shared everything across the table. I honestly don't remember all the names, but pretty much everything was good and I really don't have any major criticisms. From the dishes I can actually name, the Gyo Thai dumplings were delightful. Edamame was exactly as expected. We also had the sweet beef skewers and chicken satay skewers, and both were amazingly tasty. The sauces paired perfectly with them. We tried both the Panang curry and the Massaman curry with chicken, both served with rice. I've had better Massaman curry elsewhere but it was still very good. The Li Du Pad Thai was excellent and the drunken noodles with beef were top tier. We also had some kind of seafood mix dish that was very good. Service was excellent, and the prices felt fair for the caliber of food. My only real complaint is that I wish they gave bigger plates or bowls for sharing. It was a little difficult trying to eat the curries with rice off the smaller plates. Aside from that, it was a really good experience and I'd definitely recommend it. 4.5 rounded up. read more

I had high hopes for Ledo Thai based off of previous reviews but overall the experience was mediocre. It is located at a convenient location in LoDo and has a nice interior design but that was pretty much it for what was positive. The food here lacks flavor. Everything did. Thai food is known for its bold and intense flavors but nothing here reminded me of that. The crispy rolls were nice and crispy but the inside was bland. My Thai Bo Ran fried rice was very bland and nothing felt cohesive. Papaya salad was probably the worst I have ever had. No flavor. It didn't have any hint of fish sauce. It was just odd. The service was not much better. It took a very long time for the waiter to come over and take our orders. The food came out at a reasonable pace but after that it was difficult to get any help. We had to wait a long time to get our check too. Overall, I was not impressed with this restaurant. I guess it says a lot that there wasn't a single Thai, or even Asian, person there. read more

We went in on a Saturday for a bachelorette party (6 of us) w/about an hour to spare (they sat us late). We did advise to our server we had somewhere to be at 9. The bartender took 30 mins to bring us all of our drinks--I appreciate a meticulous bartender but dropping 3 drinks 15/20 mins before the other 3 drinks is kind of ridiculous! One of the women ordered a Thai hot vegetarian pad Thai w/extra veggies + egg. The server confirmed this twice while 3 of us at the table also confirmed this & it came out vegan (w/no egg & tasting like bbq sauce). What was odd about this is the manager came over to ask us what happened & she was told only to ask if she could have it remade but we advised we had somewhere to be in 15 mins. She should have just taken the incorrect food off the bill. The other pad thais were fine but nothing special & overpriced. I had an e-san papaya salad & it had about 5 tomatoes & very little green bean. & pad see ew noodles were on par w/the pad Thai. Wontons were just under burnt. Look, for the price, I wouldn't write home about this place. For $5/$6 less you can get a really good pad Thai elsewhere. If I am ever in Downtown for a show and we need a meal, I'm probably coming to Ledo Thai (minus Sunday since they're closed). We came before the Twice concert and it was nice that whoever was in charge of the music, recognized their clientele and played a Twice playlist. This is definitely a modern Thai restaurant designed for Downtown. Prices are also on the higher end but that's expected because of the location. When we were here, service was friendly and they tried to get you sat quick. It did take a while for the food to come but not surprised since they're closed were busier than usual. We sat at the bar and it is quite dark so the menu was kinda difficult to look at. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the pad Thai that I had. Everything from the interior, the presentation of the food as well as the quality of the dishes and cocktails itself was top tier!! My hubs and I were having a special lunch as it was my last day in Denver. Natalie was our lovely host and waitress. She also the manager. She made lovely recommendations. So glad to see this spot open up downtown. Living just a few blocks away, this is one I'll be a regular at. Great service! Everyone I've met that works here is just so incredibly friendly. Expect some growing pains, as they didn't expect to be THIS busy a month into opening -- but I'm really happy to see that they are! Fantastic variety of Thai dishes -- all with authentic flavor and at reasonable prices for the area. Some or are more traditional, some more modern, some Chinese influenced, and some with a healthy Colorado flair -- plenty of options for everyone, vegetarians included. TONS of meat options, from traditional ground beef, chicken, and shrimp -- to high-end ones (with an up charge) like ribeye steak, duck, and lobster. I love the papaya salad (a big portion you can easily add meat to and split for lunch with a friend). Tom yum (I like to add shrimp) is a great soup option. The green curry is fantastic -- and +$12 to add lobster instead of a basic meat option was worth it. And the pad Thai, golden noodles, and drunken noodles are all great noodle dishes I'd eat again! A bit disappointed in our experience here. Came here on a Saturday evening in a group of 5 with reservations for 5:30. I believe it was everyone's first visit. We had tickets to a show nearby. My partner and I were a few minutes late but to my knowledge the first three to arrive were seated upon arrival. Albeit at a high top at the front of the restaurant. The seating wasn't the most comfortable. We tried a few appetizers. The server who brought and delivered the appetizers (different person than the lady who took our order) didn't notice that nobody had a plate, napkin, or tableware. The original server came back to check on us and I asked for these items. She told me they were "out of silverware at the moment" but would see what she could do, like I was asking for something out of line as our hot appetizers cooled. The wontons dressed in a sweet soy sauce were crispy but a little small and too sweet, zero spice. The spring rolls were also crispy but lacking in fillings and came with a standard sweet chili sauce that is probably made out of house, tasted like jarred stuff I have bought at the grocery store. After another ten minutes I gave up on the server and went to the table next to us to grab 3 tableware settings, and another server standing nearby said "hey put those back." I think he was joking but it wasn't great timing. He grabbed another two sets for us. Our server never returned with settings. The entrees took about 15 minutes after we finished our appetizers. Mind you this is after we all waited for a while to start eating because we had no utensils or napkins. They leave a pitcher of water on the table to mitigate need for service. I tried the peanut dish with beef. It said it included red bell peppers but it was literally 60% green bell peppers and 40% everything else. I hate green bell peppers. Ordered it "hot" or 3/5. It had almost zero spice. The small amount of beef was tender but the sauce was sweet and bland. One of our party can handle extremely hot food, and asked for 5/5 with extra spice. The server seemed very overly concerned about our spice levels. It was like nobody they serve ever orders more than medium 2/5. They had to end up bringing a side of peppers for us. If you're looking for a quick, easy takeout spot on Blake St., Ledo Thai is definitely worth a look, though there are a few "pro-tips" to keep in mind. The Logistics: Ordering takeout was incredibly easy. The system quoted an hour, but our food was actually ready in about 45 minutes. The staff was super welcoming the second we walked in--great vibes for a neighborhood spot. The Food Breakdown: * Garden Wraps: These were massive! Very fresh and loaded with lettuce. The peanut sauce is a standout. However, the pork inside was quite dry/overcooked. If I ordered these again, I might try a different protein. * Pork Skewers: My husband had these and loved them. Definitely a win. * Pad See Ew: This dish had a really impressive depth of flavor--very traditional. The noodles, carrots, and broccoli were cooked perfectly. * The "Spice" Factor: Heads up for spice lovers! I ordered "Medium," but it arrived with zero heat. It was "Mild Minus" at best. If you actually want a kick, I'd suggest ordering a level or two higher than you think you need. The One Letdown: The protein consistency was the main issue. Had an incredible experience tonight at Le Do Thai. The food was some of the best Thai I have ever had in my life, with outstanding service. Chef Best and her husband Sean have assembled a truly special offering here, and you simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Unfortunately it was so good and I was so positively overwhelmed by it that I neglected to get any pictures of our meal. Myself and the 5 others at the table all ran into the same "problem". That the cuisine was simply too good to properly document. Sean came around to ask how our evening had been, and I inquired about some of the ingredients they used. Not only did I have the opportunity to meet and thank Chef Best for such a great evening, she very generously sent me home with a specialty fish sauce that she gifted to me. Such an overly kind gesture and although our group was already very impressed we learned everything we needed to know about her and her team from that one interaction. Even without the bias of the gifted fish sauce I cannot recommend this place enough. Tried this new Thai place and was honestly impressed. We got the massaman curry and pad Thai. Overall really good. The curry came out hot and was on point. The pad Thai was solid with little peanut clusters, super delicious. The white rice came out cold which is always confusing. It matters less when you mix it with hot curry, but still not sure why getting everything served hot is such a challenge these days. We tried the roti as well but I didn't like it. Super fried and greasy. Spice level was great and they had the Thai peppers I love which was a nice touch. Every member of the staff was kind, helpful, personable and fun! I don't think I even want to go anywhere else for Thai food anymore! For being so new they really held it together even during such a busy rush! That goes for front and back of house! The place is designed really nice too! The soups were all amazing, the fried rice and the mango sticky rice! We start off with Thai Papaya Salad. I ordered the Massaman Curry w/ Chicken while hubby opted for Panang Curry w/ Shrimp. Although the entrees took quite awhile to come out but they were good and really hit the spot for us. We shared a Le Do Thai Mango(Sticky Rice) for dessert and left with happy stomachs. I also enjoyed the Blueberry, Basil Lemonade very much. A side note, when we got the bill our server told us they comp us on the dessert because of the wait of our entrees(please note we never complained about the wait). From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles. I met my friend Sean for lunch here and we had a delightful experience! Sean is vegan so we have specific places that we are able to try out and Ledo Thai fit the bill ! I got an amazing rice dish with chicken and veggies and you are able to tell them the spice level that you want between 1-6. I chose 4 and Sean chose 5 and we were both pleased with the flavors and spice levels. They also have a fun happy hour with bites and drinks that are als very reasonable prices too. I got an NA cocktail and Sean went with a couple of their house cocktails that he also enjoyed and that were made with a lot of tlc. We had 2 people checking in on us our whole visit and they were so kind and helpful and made the visit extra sweet. The portions are also really big. I took half of this home and had it later for dinner and it heated up just fine and still had that fresh delicious taste. There was also music playing and some nice decor and lighting and it was a nice feel inside the restaurant itself. It's also a quick walk from Union Station which you all know how much I love so I can hop on the train and walk around downtown is one of my favorite things to do. I have dined at Thai eateries across the US and in different parts of the world and I will say this - Ledo Thai is on my personal top 10 list. The place is subtle yet hip and cozy with a very welcoming atmosphere. The service is absolutely impeccable and Anu has hospitality down to an art form and the lady (didn't catch her name but star tattoos on her neck) was absolutely awesome. I gauge a Thai restaurant by the quality of a tom kha soup and Ledo has their tom kha down to a science because the harmony of flavors and spice was spot on perfect and that set the bar for the entree. The main course was the Panang curry with chicken. Until now the two best Panang curry dishes I have had were in Toronto and Dubai and Ledo basically walked in and said to then "hold my bowl and chopsticks"...that's how phenomenal the Panang curry is. Finally a place I can keep coming back to on every Denver layover instead of pilot McDonalds aka Yard House. You guys are terrific, don't change a thing! read more

It didn't look like much from the outside, so im glad we still decided to step inside for a look at the menu. I wish we took pictures. One of the dishes and drinks came out at strange times. The food coming out well before the drink, probably took 15-20 mins for the one cocktail. But everything else came out at the same time. It was also probably the best cocktail on the table. Ultimately I couldn't really complain because it was all well prepared. Their spice levels are Asian spice levels, which was really nice.
