    Fried Tofu

Hey Bangkok! A little restaurant where you'll see a steady stream of people coming in and out, grabbing to-go orders. You'll also see the smiles on the few servers helping the people dining in. The food was tasty and great. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and some fried tofu. The Pad Thai was great, while the tofu was good but lacking compared to other locations. But for the price, the food was delicious, with a large portion and was quick to the table. Unfortunately, the leftovers didn't hold up that well, so eat all you can while eating it fresh.

In Denver for a long weekend and meeting one of our twin's friends, who recently moved to Denver. Hey Bangkok is a small, quaint restaurant in a local neighborhood. Parking is a real challenge. The restaurant is small, perhaps serving 30 people. They have a loyal following and a good take-away service. We were quickly seated. We ordered the fried vegetable rolls with dipping sauce, pad Thai and drunken noodle with chicken and medium spice. The food arrived quickly and was hot. The vegetable rolls were flavorful, hot and accompanied with a good dipping. The pad Thai was colorful, bland and lacked flavor. The drunken noodles had a scant amount of sauce and were dry. To be honest, Hey Bangkok is a quick Thai haunt. They have a loyal following and good take-away service. The food is reasonably priced and fulfills a certain spot in the Denver dining scene. I don't feel the need to return to Hey Bangkok. They are not trying to be something they are not, a quick take-away dining option. Over the years,I have found that my taste is for more bold flavors and sauces.

Tried out this cute Thai restaurant. Love the wall decor, definitely makes you feel like you're in Bangkok. The eggrolls and noodles were fresh and yummy. Service was very friendly. They are a very small, simple menu.

Such a great Thai place!! The drunken noodles and pad Thai were so fresh and flavorful! The service was exceptional as well with the waiter being very attentive and cleaning up and refilling waters! Great spot for some fresh Thai fix!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and if you're dining in it's pretty much seat yourself when you walk in, if you're doing takeout, you can walk up and order at the counter! I was greeted immediately and given water and a menu, and ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. The menu is small but the selection seemed to have a good variety of choices. The food came out within 5 minutes of me sitting down and the portion size was great! There were a good amount of toppings and they did not skimp on the amount of shrimp either! Not a mind blowing dish but a very warm hearty meal which is exactly what I was craving! Overall, service was great, the restaurant was clean, and I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!

A simple menu, fast service, and great for takeout. The food is ready in record time and the quality is consistent. My drunken noodles could have had more flavor and spice to them, but the Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup got great reviews.

    The #7 with chicken

I dropped in on a whim and the store was empty accept myself, which says to me this place is criminally underrated. Friendly owners recommended the #7, which I got. Super yummy and perfectly filling for lunch. The interior is super cool. All in all this is a great hang out or quick lunch.

Hey Bangkok is more than a fast casual spot, but not so fancy that you can't walk in, grab a table, and be out the door within 30ish minutes. A cool Thai restaurant located on the corner of Alameda and Pennsylvania, this is a great place to stop in or order takeout. I went with my usual drunken noodles order, and these are some of the best I've had in Denver. The noodles are fresh and there is plenty of minced chicken. The spice here is serious! (Yet still delicious).

    Pad Thai (GF)

Great neighborhood quick dinner or lunch spot, with cool vibes and flavorful food. We had pad thai and drunken noodles and both were outstanding. Friendly service.

    FRIED Vegetable Rolls

After a day of snow tubing in Frisco, I needed something savory and hot to warm up my insides. And what better way to bring in some heat than with Thai food? Sadly, Frisco didn't have much to offer in that arena, so we headed back home to check this place out. I love the atmosphere and decor at Hey Bangkok! It felt like sitting in a sidewalk cafe in Bangkok, truly. Our server immediately greeted us and asked us to sit anywhere. He graciously brought water and menus, and not even 10 minutes went by before taking our order. Before I knew it, I was munching on the veggie rolls. With the sauce, it was a great way to start the meal. And these were NOT frozen. Perfect! My Pad Thai soon arrived and was hot off the pan. It was perfectly portioned, with just the right amount of sprouts, carrots, and green onion for my personal taste. The noodles were chewy and delicious. The chicken was fresh and cooked well. I have no complaints. I inhaled it after enjoying the first few bites! My son ordered the chicken platter, and I had a bite of that, and WHOA. It's definitely worth ordering next time. His chicken platter came with a side salad; I just can't recall which one it was. It was delicious but maybe a bit too overly dressed. I imagine combining it with the rice would've cut down on the powerfulness of the dressing, but it was still very fresh and tasty. With this kind of quality and service, I'm absolutely coming back the next time a Pad Thai craving hits.

They also checked in with us from time to time to see when we were ready for our orders. I didnt realize untol afterward they were wanting to do us a solid by getting ours in before the party of 26 arrived in full and began with their orders. Now that's service! We ordered quite a few dishes - the ones I could remember were: The sampler Platter- Duck Wonton, fried shrimp and chicken Satay Thai BBQ chicken Tom Yum noodle soup (chicken) Pad See Ew Mango Sticky Rice Tell you what. All dishes were legit delicious. I probably should have went beef with the Tom Yum. Wasn't expecting an above average Thai place in Denver, but here we are. The service was exceptional. My favorite was the French toast, crunchy on the outside and warm, soft, and savory on the inside. It was also good I usually don't like anything with coconut and this has it in there. Never would've guessed that's what I was eating because of the way they incorporated all of the other ingredients! Me and my friends ate the ants on a tree, the Korean chicken, sweet and sour chicken, the potatoes, French toast, and the Korean corn dog. We shared everything and all were very full by the end. Which makes me very sad. I finally tried delivery from Ginger pig, and ordered the only two vegan dishes they offer Only one was actually delivered. It was delicious. It was not a very generous portion, and the price was high for what they gave me. I stopped in once during lunchtime to see if I could try the other dish and take it to go. But they didn't offer it during lunchtime. They offered one thing that was vegan, it was eggplant. No other vegetables. Just eggplant. That is not a meal. The person working the counter clearly could not care less. I am honestly confused and disappointed that they seem so uninvested in meeting people's needs. So I consider Ginger Pig to be just another heartbreaking potentially delicious new Asian restaurant that doesn't care about those of us who choose not to eat animals.
