Hot and Sour Soup, Cheese Wontons
    Ashley G.

Wow. Let me start by saying that the hot and sour soup is hands down the BEST I've ever had. We also ordered a cup each and not a bowl, and it was a large cup!! Portion sizes are large here! We also ordered the cheese Rangoons and those were super yummy. No crabby flavor which I like :) For our entree, we got the general tso's chicken. It was yummy, crispy, and saucy! Service was fast and attentive. We were able to sit down right away even on a Saturday night. You have to try this place! I see why people love it :)

I've had the pad Thai, orange chicken, sesame chicken and the lo mien all of which are delicious. I don't think you can go wrong here. I normally get take out and it's quick and easy. The place looks nice on the inside and they have a patio.

Pepper is always a must when we have guests visiting. This was my first time at this location and WOW I felt like it was such a fancy restaurant vs the Colfax location. I did not get the name of our sweet server but she was professional, knowledgeable and caring. The food is beyond!! I literally can taste the drunken noodles. The portions are huge so there is no doubt you can enjoy your leftovers the following day for lunch. What really amazed us was the foot traffic for takeaway meals. The entire bar was lined with takeaways the entire time we enjoyed our dinner. The mints at the counter are a must as well. Pepper never lets you down.

Pepper Asian Bistro is a Denver staple! I've been ordering take out from here for years, and I finally decided to dine in. The food was just as good, if not better dining in. The service was great, everyone was super friendly and attentive. We were seated and served very quickly. I was curious how portions would compare to take out, and they were just as big if not a little bigger. There's plenty of seating - the space is bigger than I expected. There's a bar area to sit at as well. There's a parking lot in the back. This place never disappoints.

Always have such an amazing time here. The food is always on point. The dishes are huge servings. Everything comes out hot and fresh tasting and very timely. The service is amazing and the people are so kind and helpful. Crystal and I both love coming here. It's near our neighborhood and we love walking here! We have also gotten take out and delivery and our favorite is to sit in and eat. We indulge in some cocktails at times but they also have plenty of NA options as well. The chicken fried rice is our favorite in town. Drunken noodles are always a classic here and any of the steak and veggie dishes. Honestly everything we can has always been really excellent here. And you can order different spice levels according to your preferences!

We were very impressed by our to go dishes! Everything was packaged nicely and was still hot by the time we got it home. We got the drunken noodles and General Tsos chicken. My husband got both medium, but the drunken noodles leaned more hot, and the Tsos chicken leaned more mild. My husband doesn't care for broccoli, so they did extra peppers and that was perfect. They did mention it is cheaper to order to go through them rather than grub hub, so something to keep in mind. Overall I was impressed and this will definitely be our new Chinese food go to.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The hostess greeted us in the most friendly way, our server was super nice and attentive and the food was excellent. The place is tastefully decorated with clean restrooms. There's a decent size parking lot with plenty spots that were available on a weekday.

10/10. We selected this restaurant based off of Yelp reviews once we landed in Denver for a family vacation. The service was very good. The ambiance was a casual seating environment. We ordered several dishes to share family style: hot and sour soup, Kung Pao chicken, Hunan chicken, and Spicy Chicken with Basil. All were wonderfully prepared and we finished every single dish! This was a great start to our trip in Denver. Especially with the cold temperatures, the food from Pepper Asian Bistro II was hearty and filling.

i LOVE pepper. i always have such a great experience here. i have ordered takeout here for years and have dined in a couple of times now. my friend and i popped in for lunch. parking lot + street parking. seated immediately. chicken dumplings in hot sauce are phenomenal. lunch specials came with a side, so i had sesame chicken + hot and sour soup + steamed rice. my friend had chicken & broccoli + fried rice + egg rolls. every single thing was fantastic! I've had many of their beef noodle dishes, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, lettuce wraps, cream cheese wontons, the list goes on. I've yet to be disappointed. they've got lots of seating and bar space. i imagine it gets busier on the weekends but for the most part, its been really chill and has quick service. i am a huge fan!!!!

Kinda low key spot that turned out to be great! Open late, humble decor, and attentive service, the menu includes a wide variety of rice, noodle, and curry dishes. Initially I thought it would be mediocre quality but I ordered a very tasty drunken noodle was very decently priced with a large serving. I always rave about any spots that serve Thai with mango sticky rice, which was a fantastic end to the meal. Lovely spot for a Thai craving late at night

I visited there during a break from a convention I was attending and was glad to find it open. Service was brusque but reasonably fast. I ordered the Pork Water-Fried Bao and the Spicy Ground Pork over rice. Both looked great; but alas, both dishes were unaccountably bland. I'm not a 'five alarm fire is a great flavor' kind of guy but when a dish says 'Spicy Ground Pork', it better have more zip than communion wafers. Average it out, and this place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

My group of 7 shared the roasted pork, pork and duck barbecue. I'm not a fan of duck so it would not be fair for me to write anything about it, but those who loved duck meat said that this place serve wonderful barbecue duck. As for the pork, both roasted and barbecue, they were so good. We had a little bit of white rice to eat with the meat, but really, you don't need the extra rice in order to eat these two types of pork meats. Since both styles of the pork were prepared differently, I cannot say one is better than the other: they were both delicious. The crunchiness and the flavorful from the roasted pork, as well as the aroma and the soft chewy from the barbecue pork, brings this dining experience to the next level. We also ordered the yu stir fry choy sum in garlic, the combination fried rice, and salt and pepper shrimp. I highly recommend the yu choy and shrimp dishes. I would skip the fried rice and get their beef chow fun, which is exactly what my other group of 6 did. In addition to what were mentioned above, they ordered Chinese broccoli, daikon and beef in clay pot, Taishan five spice duck, salted fish & chicken fried rice. Everyone enjoyed their food and dining experience here. Conversations were easily understood and heard. When asked what their favorite dish was, all of us said we liked everything, but when pressed to give one special dish, several folks mentioned the roasted pork, the clay pot, and the salt and pepper shrimp. Service here was excellent. The manager was very accommodating to our large group of diners, coming back and making sure we are doing fine as he refilled our water glasses. I haven't been very impressed with Chinese food in Denver, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we were blown awayyyy!! We got several things to share, and I loved it all! The chicken shrimp wontons were so savory & a little bit spicy- the sauce was perfect. We next split the asparagus and green beans, which was the dish I was least excited about, but I'm pretty sure it ended up being my favorite. Crunchy, fresh, and a little spicy- delicious! Next we had the smoked wagyu brisket lo mein- wowwww this was so good. The smokiness wasn't overpowering, and once again the sauce was the best part. Noodles cooked to perfection. We ended with the Chong Qing chicken- this dish wasn't really up my alley, but my husband loved it! Salty & crunchy with sichuan peppers!
