Nice ambiance - it's a cute restaurant in a house - but this last time I visited, the service was pretty terrible (it was slow and our waiter basically didn't speak to us, not even greeting us when he came to the table the first time). And again (this has happened on 2 separate visits), they messed up our order. The first time I came here, one person had ordered "mild" and another "medium" spice and it seemed their orders got switched. On that visit, I got mild and they did a good job on the spice level - yay. This time, my husband and I both ordered mild (I emphasized "mild" bc I know Thai food can be blazing, and the waiter marked mild on his iPad )...then both our dishes came out wayyy too spicy. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it didn't quite deliver. The food was overall just okay, and our dishes came out only slightly warm. Portions were on the smaller side, especially for the price--we spent around $60 for two entrées and an appetizer, which felt a bit steep for the quality. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated from the outside, which set high expectations going in. However, the service didn't match. Our server rarely checked on us, even though we were seated right next to the counter. At one point, we also felt a bit rushed. We were repeatedly asked if we were done, despite it not being close to closing time and there being plenty of open tables. We were still eating--literally had one spring roll left--and a staff member tried to take the plate after we had already said we were finishing it. Ros siam was one of the restaurants that kept us going with their takeout when I lived in the area during Covid. I was so happy to return this week and get to eat there in person after a few years. We went with six people and our reserved table was ready right when we got there. The staff was amazing and at the end of the night, they even pointed out that we accidentally double tipped since they automatically add gratuity for groups of a certain size. They most definitely did not have to do that and it gave them major bonus points in our book. Our table ordered a lot, but of the things that I tried, my favorites were easily : - cream cheese wontons : I'm not a big seafood person so I love being able to get wontons without crab in them. These had cream cheese and chives in them and oh my goodness they were bomb. I think we ordered three or four orders of them and honestly could've eaten more. -Tom kha soup - the coconut perfectly balanced the spice and I truly just wanted to drink it - The chicken pad see ew . This is one of my favorite dishes to order and Ross Siam delivered it with high-quality and the broccoli was packed with flavor it absorbed which is always one of my most anticipated bites. Quiet night for a Saturday but all the more convenient for us. This hidden gem of a restaurant serves amazing Green Curry Fried Rice. That's the reason we went here and all our expectations were met. Delicious food and great spice levels where they don't just add chili paste to make it hotter. We got their max level 5 spice and it was definitely kicking. I wouldn't recommend it for everybody but if you ever wanted proper Thai spiced food, this is the spot for it. We asked for the fried rice to be wet which I know sounds weird but it tastes amazing as they fry it with more curry sauce than just dry paste. Try it this way, you'll probably like it! What a great gem! It's tucked in an old house surrounded by other homes. Super cute vibe and great location. The food is also super flavorful. I would say wish the portions were 10%-15% bigger with more protein on the plate but overall prices aren't too crazy for what you're getting. Came here for a Friday date night. Parking is a super small lot and street parking so good luck, but it wasn't bad. It was such a nice day, so we ended up sitting outside at picnic tables. Don't miss it because it looked like a house. Our server was great, I believe she was the only one. Brougt out water and menus right away. I ordered the Pad See Ew and it was delicious. I thought it was a decent portion too. I got peanut sauce on the side, which was a bit spicy, but it made the meal that much better. You can expect to spend around $15 - $25 per person which is understandable to me. I did take one star off because they are some small changes that could be made to make the experience a little better. Something like a place mat on the table, chopsticks, idk, just something. This was a cute little place with some very good food. The Fried Tofu was a little bland, but it was perfectly crisp and the peanut sauce helped give it the flavor it needed. Additionally, the Cashew Stir Fry with Pork was excellent, with good heat, tender pork, crisp vegetables and excellent flavor. The only real knock was that the service was very slow. There were only two servers working the dining room, and one was usually working the counter to take care of the barrage of takeout orders. That said, can't complain. Went here on a whim bc it was close to our hotel and so glad we did. We were greeted kindly and seated right away. Lots of people were eating and lots of take out orders so we knew it was going to be good. We got the yellow curry level 1 and pad see ew level 2. You can get up to level 5 but we were too chicken. Both dishes were so good. I would def recommend. We got curry with fried tofu and pad see ew with chicken but it came out with tofu. It was fine bc we like tofu. Had a really annoying experience where I ordered online and was given a 30-60 minute time until my order will be ready. I showed up on the earlier side, called and asked if I was going to get a text message when my order was actually ready, and they said yes. Well, it was approaching the end of my pick up window (60 mins after I placed the order online) and I had received no text. I went in and my order was ready. One of the big sellers for me was the private parking lot. It's a rare find near downtown. The interior and exterior are very cozy and cute and it feels like a family owned establishment. There are a lot of seats as well - both indoors and outdoors. The staff is so kind and attentive. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area. The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was so good. The Thai tea wasn't overly sweet and didn't taste like a powdered drink. The Tom kha was delicious. I ordered a small soup because I was full but really wanted to try it. So coconutty and fresh. The pad Thai was delicious and wasn't overly cooked with onions and bean sprouts. Incredible food with top-notch flavor and high-quality ingredients. The location is lovely and the ambience is wonderful. We ordered takeout while staying at a nearby hotel, and the owner thoughtfully provided extra plates with a sincere smile--an appreciated and memorable touch. Colorado weather haven't been too predictable lately or maybe it is, 4pm-7pm thunder showers, lol? The service quick and attentive for a table of 6. We each had our own dish and I got the drunken noodles. It did not disappoint and hit the spot. My boyfriend was jealous of mine, since he got the Panang curry. Our first time here. The Pad Thai with chicken was edible 3/5. The drunken noodles with beef was disappointing. The beef was hard and flavorless. We paid $2 for the beef and we didn't eat it. We hate wasting food, so you can imagine how bad it was. Both dishes tasted like they added precooked meat to the dishes we ordered. We came because my neighbor raved about this place, but we will not be back. We will stick with our dependably delicious Tasty Thai (Leetsdale). I love this place so much! For a place near downtown, it has it's own parking lot! For a person who can't parallel park to save her life, that was good news for me. The owner is so nice and funny. Wow this place was incredible. We sat on the patio which was super cute but the indoor part of the restaurant is also really cool because it's a house that was converted. An adorable white cat visited us on the patio and the server told us it's the neighbor's that likes to hang out there. I had the green curry and my mom had the basil stir fry which were both very good but the curry was definitely the highlight. The crispy tofu was delicious and you can pick your own spice level, but I will say that the spice comes through a lot stronger in curry than stir fry. I came in during a week day from out of town visiting family and had just picked up the rental car. I am the only one in the family that loves Thai food, so I was there to get my food to go. I actually would've loved to eat there because it's a beautiful building and very clean and peaceful inside. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and tom kha soup with chicken too. My stomach was feeling sensitive and I told the woman that I don't handle spice well, so on a level of 1-5, I only went with a level 2. They said it'd take 10-15 minutes and gave me a cup of water while I waited. Customer service from when I entered was top notch! Very kind and great auras! Food was ready in about 10 minutes and I left. When I got home, I realized there were no utensils, which I would've appreciated since I'm traveling and OMG for being a level 2, this food was spicy! Full of great flavor, but spicy! Just to give you an idea of what my idea of spicy is - I can handle a bag of hot Cheetos, i like sriracha, and I like a little bit of wasabi and soy sauce when I eat sushi...so not too weak! I thought the coconut milk in the soup would help my mouth that was on fire, but the soup was also order at a level 2 haha. I don't know if this was a one off or if I'm EXTREMELY weak when it comes to their version of spicy, but I would definitely come back for the portions and flavor alone, and just stick to a level 0! I powered through with an ice water and when I'm in town to visit family again I'll definitely be back and be sure to ask for utensils and lowest spicy level. Live and learn! read more

I've walked by Ros Siam more times than I can count, and finally decided to give it a try for lunch! Pad Thai is not my usual, but I was having craving and ordered chicken pad thai with medium spice. The portion was way bigger than I was expecting, and ended up being plenty to eat over two lunches. The medium spice was spot on. The chicken was a bit dry and the sauce was sweeter than I generally like for Pad Thai, but a solid lunch overall. The interior of Ros Siam is so charming and I love all of the outdoor seating. So I wasn't exactly sure where you're allowed to park when their tiny parking lot is full. Interior is cute and cozy. I got the beef drunken noodles. It was a good size portion and it tasted aiight! I got level 2 out of 5 spice which didn't have much of a kick- so we asked for extra spice powder on the side. When I dipped my food in it- oh man it was spicy. I'm glad I didn't get level 3- it would have been too much for me. It's always frustrating when I desire a spice level in between. I find that common in Thai restaurants. The service was stretched a bit tight but the food made it worth the wait. The Green curry was fabulous and rich with flavor, happy to see the green was natural and not enhanced by food coloring. Tom Kha soup was loaded full of flavor. Shrimp, cabbage, mushrooms, and a nice blend of spice and coconut milk. The Pad Thai was solid. I liked the way they laid out the ingredients so you could decide on how much peanuts, lime, and sprouts you wanted in each bite. We also had the Drunken Noodles. The flavors were bold and spicy. I loved the touch of kaffir leaves, which added an exotic burst. I'd go out of my way for their curry. That really stood out and was exceptional. How does this place not have more reviews? I am in LOVE with this place. Their curries are so complex and flavorful. And they actually add spice. I've been to Thai places where the "spicy" is a mild at best. They have 5 spice levels, 1-5, and I've been getting spicier each time. The green curry is so good and they use these small eggplants which maintain their integrity. Level 2 spiciness gives it a nice kick, level 3 is better. The pumpkin curry is also so good. The pumpkin adds a bit of sweetness, so I get level 4 for this one. This place is a whole mood. The service is good and depending on when you go (I usually go on weekends), there's a sassy lady dealing with the to go orders. She's very entertaining and very sassy. The ambiance is lacking, but that's ok. I come here for the amazing Thai food. I do think you get more food when you dine in and the food is also cheaper for dine in. Also, if you order through Uber eats or Grubhub, it's way more expensive. If you have the time, call in the order and pick it up- they give you the same price as dine in. Overall, this is my favorite Thai place in the Denver metro area and they definitely have the best curries. read more
