Indoor seating and front register where you place your order.
Stephanie R.

We had the tastiest dishes here and hope to go back one day. You'll order at the register, be given an order tent and they'll bring your order to the table. They offer spicy levels 1-5, with 5 being considered "Thai hot." I had the drunken noodles spicy 1 with tofu and really enjoyed the sweet and savory taste of the sauce. They offer limited indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy Thai food.

Our first time here at Aloy Thai Eatery and it's so cute here, it's a nice private feeling restaurant with outside seating as well, the vibe is really chill in here and the service was fast and quick! The cashier was really friendly and made recommendations and gave us insider knowledge about curries. The food was delicious! We shared a pad see ew and it was perfectly smokey and our tiger milk tea was perfectly sweet. My friends who have gluten and wheat allergies were accommodated with an allergen free menu items and they loved it!

This is some of the best thai I've had in Denver! Flexibility to make many things GF + Vegan make it such an easy experience for dietary restrictions. Restrictions don't limit the deliciousness of this menu, though! Highly recommend.

A friend suggested Aloy Thai Eatery as a place for us to meet for dinner. Unfortunately, he's a bit technologically-challenged, and saw pictures of their other location. We walked in and he said it wasn't the right place. The decor was vastly different than what he saw on the website. We said it didn't matter since we were already there. It's a very unpretentious restaurant on the inside. But what it lacks in ambiance, it makes up in outstanding flavor combinations. This is an authentically Thai-owned restaurant, and the proof is in the pudding. Or in the Pad Thai. I had the Pad See Ew, which is Chinese bok choy, egg, thick rice noodle & sweet soy. I love bok choy, and explained what it is to our friend. The person at the counter explained how their bok choy is "imported" from California from a farm, and the farmer drives it in on his truck once a week. Our friend had beef and green beans, and my partner had the black pepper with chicken. It was so good! Check out the pictures to see the presentation of our dishes. It's so pretty. Aloy Thai Eatery-Capitol Hill is a neighborhood gem. I can't wait to go back.

Fried shrimp appetizer

This was a random stop that I'm soooo glad I made. I was in town for business and meeting some friends for dinner. The fried shrimp appetizer was crispy, hot, and perfectly spicy. The shrimp were also a great small size that made them easy to pop in your mouth. For dinner I had the pad see ew and it was soooo delicious. I ate the entire thing which doesn't happen often for me at a Thai place. It was the perfect level of spicy and full of flavor. My friends had the drunken noodles and pad Thai and both agreed theirs was equally as delicious. There was only one waiter working while we were there and they were really busy. He was still attentive, and really positive which made the experience great.

Watery Massaman curry that lacked any curry richness.

Headed home to Phoenix and needed to catch a bite before we jumped on the plane. Aloy Thai Eatery was close by, had decent reviews and we dropped in for a tasty Thai meal. The restaurant was dead on a Saturday afternoon, but the wait staff was very friendly. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken and Massaman curry. The food arrived quickly and was hot. The Pad Thai noodles were not fully cooked and hard while the dish lacked good flavor. The Massaman curry was watery with no spice, it did not appear to have any richness from the coconut milk. Overall, this was a bust. The food was quickly made and appears to have had minimal effort to make it special. Quality control needs to be implemented to make sure the dishes are presentable to the patrons. I don't feel the need to return here, especially if they were not busy, perhaps I should of read the room.

I have been missing legit Thai food since moving from the Bay Area...and I think I have found the place!! Aloy Thai in Capitol Hill is pretty legit. Amazing curries, noodle , and rice dishes. I especially like that you can sit outside on their streetside deck...if it is a great weather day...do so! Simple menu with not a huge selection but I would rather have a well executed small menu than a large mediocre one. Highly recommended.

Chicken PAD THAI NOODLE was delicious. Huge portion.

Great flavors. Outdoor seating with lights. Great service that delivered quickly and friendly. $75 for two main dishes, two apps and one soda out the door. Pricey but delicious.

My boyfriend and I came to this eatery on a poem. Although we were hungry, we thought everything was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. They bring your order directly to your table. And they will get you anything else you need to make your dining experience better. I got the Tom Yum Kar, and it was really good. It's not my favorite that I've ever had. But I did really enjoy it. It was in the top five. I also got a side of rice. The portion of rice was as big as the portion of soup. And together it really hit the spot. My boyfriend got the pad Thai. It had a wonderful texture to the noodles. It was pretty spicy. And the bowl was absolutely full of pad. Thai bamboo shoots lime chicken. It had all the things. And the sauce was very nice as well. We also got two appetizers, the shrimp, spring rolls and the spicy chicken strips. The spicy chicken strips and the spring rolls come with this sweet dipping sauce with red chili flakes in it. The shrimp spring rolls were perfectly crispy and the shrimp was plump and delicious on the inside. I would definitely order this again! Some of the best I've had. The crispy chicken was a wonderful flavor upfront with a slow heat in the back. There was lots of crispy. It was phenomenal with that dipping sauce. It had a sweet and heat combination that was delightful. Overall, I would say I would definitely hit the spot again. I really enjoyed it for a late lunch. There's other options right next-door. It's a little foodie building. So if your friend isn't into the tie option, you can always opt for tacos next-door.

While visiting Denver, my coworkers and I went to ChoLon downtown. It was restaurant week in Denver…read moreso the menu was limited but we still found a lot of items to try out. The chicken soup dumplings, pork potstickers, and the ice cream was all very good! I wasn't such a huge fan of the tufu pork belly noodles. I'm not really a fan of tofu but I didn't really like the noodle dish in general. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and well designed. The wait staff was also very friendly. Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.

Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood.
