Street Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Crab Cheese Wonton

We love 9 Thai. Come here often for take out. The staff is so friendly. And every we've tried is so good but street pad thai is our favorite.

The food here was okay. Not terrible, but I have had better Thai food. The drunken noodles were not great. It lacked flavor. The larb chicken was good, but I wish it was served with lettuce and not small quartered pieces of cabbage. The papaya salad had too many chunky tomatoes and not enough papaya. The bathroom was a little weird - very small and not very clean. The service was good. We were the only ones there so if we needed anything, our server was ready to attend to us.

Stopped by to grab lunch - got drunken noodles and a Thai tea! Drunken noodles (3/5) - honestly for Denver this might be a 4/5, but comparing it to other drunken noodles I've had I would say that they taste good for what they are, but they are the incorrect flavor for drunken noodles. They're overly sweet and lack the umami and wok hei flavor for pad kee Mao. I also ordered it hot, and it was not spicy compared to Thai hot. I feel like what I got for hot is a mild or medium level spice. I got it with tofu and typically it's with the deep fried tofu, this tasted more like normal tofu pan fried. They were generous with the tofu pieces which I appreciated. Portions are good and prices are good! Noodles were a good consistency and although it was not a traditional drunken noodle flavor, the flavors were well developed. The Thai iced tea was good but could be a bit richer as it tasted watered down.

I've been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. I ordered the drunken noodles the first time and the street pad Thai the second time. The drunken noodles were good but the pad Thai was out of this world! So great I can't wait to go back. I love the ambiance and the service is quick. Definitely recommend!

I ordered to-go from this place. Even though it's on a busy street - I was able to pull up pretty close and park along the street. I walked in and also got a soda from the cooler fridge behind the counter. The place is pretty small so I imagine they mostly do takeout. I ordered the Pad Thai (just plain) and was asked about heat level. My fiancé said he told them "low." He got the Basil Fried rice with the highest heat level. The food was ready when they told us (15 minutes). They guy who helped me was very nice and talkative. He let me know I was the first customer of the day. We got a ton of food for the one dish. My fiancé really enjoyed his fried rice - he at the whole thing. My pad thai was just okay. It was a little more dry than expected and it was way more spicier than expected. I can handle spice but I don't like when it turns my mouth numb and the taste takes over everything else. The price for the two dishes also seemed high seeing as though we didn't get protein in either.

Noodles are a regular fixture when we want a quick fix and our version of fast food. With plenty of seating on this Monday evening, our party of three were seated immediately. Menus and water arrived shortly and we perused the menu. They have a decent selection of ramen, udon, soup noodles, stir-fry noodles, rice bowls, and poke bowls. They also have a few izakaya options perfect for sharing. * Black Tonkotsu $18 - The Little Guy got this and slurped the whole thing up, even the wood ear mushrooms which he usually leaves behind. He actually asked to return the next day because he loved it so much and just loved it. 5/5 * Menya Special $16.50 - I got this one and it was fine. Although I think I was a bit jealous as the Black Tonkotsu looked like it had different kind of noodles. The egg was perfectly cooked. 4/5 * Udon $16.50 - The Little Gal had this as she is a fan of udon any day. She ate pretty much the whole thing herself. Overall, Menya Noodle Bar served its purpose. It's a no-frills kind of place in a prime location.

I'm not a 'five alarm fire is a great flavor' kind of guy but when a dish says 'Spicy Ground Pork', it better have more zip than communion wafers. The vibe here is of a japanese izakaya, though not a super traditional one, with sake bombs and everything. That said, the food is definitely on the pricier side, though extremely delicious. My typical go to is on of the salad. Now salads typically are not standout at most restaurants, but the ones at Kawa Ni just hits different. Both the red cabbage and pear salad and the brocolli salad are delicious and the portion is massive, easily enough for a table of 4 to share. For apps and shareable entrees, you can't go wrong here. The build your own tuna temaki hand rolls can easily be shared and the tuna is so fresh and well seasoned. The szechuan dumplings are delicious, as is the curry onigiri and the bao bun. The Dan Dan noodle, kimchi Carbonara, and their tonkotsu ramen are also amazing, and, with the exception of the tonkotsu ramen, can easily be shared. I would highly recommend other seasonal dishes as well, such as the coconut swordfish or chicken katsu parm. However, one of my absolute favorite dish here is the ochazuke. It's basically grilled fish over rice in a warm green tea dashi. It's so comforting, especially on a cold night, and a dish that I return to time and time again. Overall, Kawa Ni is an amazing japanese restaurant. Come for the food and just make sure you get a sake bomb and ask for the gong when you do.

Cravings absolutely satisfied…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I cannot go anywhere without having some sort of Asian food. That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!

The atmosphere was very cramped now, with tables on top of each other. The wait was about 30 minutes on a Sunday evening, and everyone seemed very overwhelmed. They no longer have the crab fried rice, but do have an imitation crab one. The photos from today look so different from before. It was damn near inedible and was actually gross. Our bill was over 100 bucks and it was so upsetting because the food was not worth it. The atmosphere is so chaotic and unfortunate. Definitely a miss.

Tonight, we sat at the bar and watched the magic happen. These guys are cranking out amazing and delectable treats you won't forget. The Uncle salad was a great starter with charred cabbage, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, arugula, and peanuts lightly coated in a Thai coconut dressing. A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. The cold spicy sesame noodles with seasoned chicken, granny Smith apple slivers, arugula, cashews and nanami togorashi, a perfect closing dish for an exceptional meal.
