My partner and I ate here the other night. We're new to the area and love Thai food, so naturally we had to come try this place. The restaurant isn't big, but it does have bar and outdoor seating, too. We were seated at the end of the bar, so it was a little cramped for us, but I really enjoyed talking with our bartender, Patti! They were so kind and checked in with us often to make sure we were enjoying the food and drinks. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice and Thai Express to drink, and both were delicious (the Thai Express is a bit stronger between the two but just as yummy). Food-wise, we ordered the Tom Yum soup, the Cashew Prik Pao, and the Drunken noodles. Everything was pretty good, but the soup was the most flavorful. To be fair, we got the other two items served with mild spice since my spice tolerance is low, but now I think medium or hot level spice would have suited those two dishes nicely. Looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Randomly walking past this spot and decided I was in the mood for Thai. NOT DISAPPOINTED! Really friendly staff, clean and nice aesthetic, and really tasty food. Did not try cocktails as it was lunch but they looked fun and refreshing. I ordered the pad see ew -- not the typical sweet noodle dish, this was super peppery, smoky, good heat. Noodles great texture, loaded up with chicken and vegetables, all incredibly satisfying. And good portion size too! Will def be back

Let me start by saying we had wonderful service from Nico and Patti! We did not have a reservation and upon arrival on a Tuesday evening we were told it would be a 90 minute wait unless we wanted to sit outside right away which we agreed to. After ordering, the food took over an hour to come out. We only ordered two dishes but I guess the kitchen was backed up. My friend ordered the drunken noodles "Thai hot" but it was lacking spice & flavor so Nico kindly brought us out some additional spices to add in. I thought the pad see ew was good but also lacking flavor & seemed to be covered in black pepper. During our meal, I did hear who I believe was the owner going to tables asking for feedback as they just opened recently. You have to commend them for asking customers for ways to improve! Overall we had a good meal, but would just be prepared to spend 90+ minutes here.

I had high hopes for Ledo Thai based off of previous reviews but overall the experience was mediocre. It is located at a convenient location in LoDo and has a nice interior design but that was pretty much it for what was positive. The food here lacks flavor. Everything did. Thai food is known for its bold and intense flavors but nothing here reminded me of that. The crispy rolls were nice and crispy but the inside was bland. My Thai Bo Ran fried rice was very bland and nothing felt cohesive. Papaya salad was probably the worst I have ever had. No flavor. It didn't have any hint of fish sauce. It was just odd. The service was not much better. It took a very long time for the waiter to come over and take our orders. The food came out at a reasonable pace but after that it was difficult to get any help. We had to wait a long time to get our check too. Overall, I was not impressed with this restaurant. I guess it says a lot that there wasn't a single Thai, or even Asian, person there.

The dessert of the month! Good level of sweetness. Perfect size!

In Denver for work on a chilly day and craving Thai food, I stumbled upon LEDO THAI. So glad I did! Loved the decor, ambiance, and especially the warm hospitality. Everyone was friendly, and my servers, including Christian and this other gentleman, were attentive and fantastic. No joke in total 5 employees including the female bartender were so nice! The food and drinks were top-notch! I left full, satisfied, and already looking forward to coming back. And that mango sticky rice drink? THE BOMB! I'll definitely be spreading the word. Thank you, LEDO THAI, for such a wonderful dining experience!

If I am ever in Downtown for a show and we need a meal, I'm probably coming to Ledo Thai (minus Sunday since they're closed). We came before the Twice concert and it was nice that whoever was in charge of the music, recognized their clientele and played a Twice playlist. This is definitely a modern Thai restaurant designed for Downtown. Prices are also on the higher end but that's expected because of the location. When we were here, service was friendly and they tried to get you sat quick. It did take a while for the food to come but not surprised since they're closed were busier than usual. We sat at the bar and it is quite dark so the menu was kinda difficult to look at. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the pad Thai that I had. It was pretty generous portion as I left feeling very full. It wasnt bad - can't complain.

It's a small place and gets busy so plan accordingly. We ordered a bunch of dishes and shared everything across the table. I honestly don't remember all the names, but pretty much everything was good and I really don't have any major criticisms. From the dishes I can actually name, the Gyo Thai dumplings were delightful. Edamame was exactly as expected. We also had the sweet beef skewers and chicken satay skewers, and both were amazingly tasty. The sauces paired perfectly with them. We tried both the Panang curry and the Massaman curry with chicken, both served with rice. I've had better Massaman curry elsewhere but it was still very good. The Li Du Pad Thai was excellent and the drunken noodles with beef were top tier. We also had some kind of seafood mix dish that was very good. Service was excellent, and the prices felt fair for the caliber of food. My only real complaint is that I wish they gave bigger plates or bowls for sharing. It was a little difficult trying to eat the curries with rice off the smaller plates. Aside from that, it was a really good experience and I'd definitely recommend it. 4.5 rounded up.

My dish was burned.. how do you mess up a dish like this?

I love Thai food..especially in Denver. Something about food in Denver hit different than the east coast, and I mean that in a good way.. My hubs and I were having a special lunch as it was my last day in Denver. Natalie was our lovely host and waitress. She also the manager. She made lovely recommendations. As I wasn't feeling too hungry and dealing with altitude sickness... I had one of the noodle dishes... Something wok special ..I can't remember... But when I took a bites..I didn't like it.. my husband was networking with Nat and I didn't want to make a fuss.. but my food tasted scratched like burned... how do you miss up a simple dish?? The dish was like $20.. I was so livid.. I might give them another try but I was so hungry... i had to get something else at the airport.

So glad to see this spot open up downtown. Living just a few blocks away, this is one I'll be a regular at. Great service! Everyone I've met that works here is just so incredibly friendly. Expect some growing pains, as they didn't expect to be THIS busy a month into opening -- but I'm really happy to see that they are! Fantastic variety of Thai dishes -- all with authentic flavor and at reasonable prices for the area. Some or are more traditional, some more modern, some Chinese influenced, and some with a healthy Colorado flair -- plenty of options for everyone, vegetarians included. TONS of meat options, from traditional ground beef, chicken, and shrimp -- to high-end ones (with an up charge) like ribeye steak, duck, and lobster. I love the papaya salad (a big portion you can easily add meat to and split for lunch with a friend). Tom yum (I like to add shrimp) is a great soup option. The green curry is fantastic -- and +$12 to add lobster instead of a basic meat option was worth it. And the pad Thai, golden noodles, and drunken noodles are all great noodle dishes I'd eat again! The cocktails are fun, but my go-to at a Thai spot is a light beer for spicy food, and a Thai iced tea with a shot of your favorite liquor for fun!

We got here around 7 PM and were told the wait for indoor seating would be about 90 minutes, but outdoor seating was available, so we opted for that. We also learned that the restaurant has only been open for about seven months, so it still seems to be finding its rhythm. Shoutout to Nico and Patti for the great service. They were attentive throughout the evening and kept us updated on the status of our order, which we really appreciated. The main downside was the wait for the food. It took around an hour, maybe a little longer, from the time we were seated until our food arrived. When you are already hungry, that is definitely a long time. We ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and the Drunken Noodles with tempeh. The chicken was ordered with no heat added, while I went for Thai hot on the tempeh. Once the food arrived, though, it was really, really good. The noodles had great texture, the sauces were flavorful, and everything came together so well. The Drunken Noodles in particular had that savory, slightly sweet flavor with plenty of vegetables and tempeh soaking up all the sauce. Basically, the noodles were yummers. Apparently, my definition of Thai hot is a little different because it still was not spicy enough for me, but I really love spice, so this might be a me thing. Nico came to the rescue and brought out four additional options to increase the heat, and those definitely did not disappoint. Overall, the food was delicious and the service from Nico and Patti was great. The biggest drawback was the amount of time between ordering and actually getting our food. I would still come back because the food is definitely worthwhile, and hopefully the wait times improve as the restaurant continues to grow.

Hubby and I were looking for comfy eat on the 1st night during our weekend stay in Denver after snowboarding trip up at Vail. Since we both love Thai cuisine, so glad we were able to grab a reservation on a Friday night as the place was busy. I like the sleek and cool vibe, the staffs were so nice and super friendly. We start off with Thai Papaya Salad. I ordered the Massaman Curry w/ Chicken while hubby opted for Panang Curry w/ Shrimp. Although the entrees took quite awhile to come out but they were good and really hit the spot for us. We shared a Le Do Thai Mango(Sticky Rice) for dessert and left with happy stomachs. I also enjoyed the Blueberry, Basil Lemonade very much. A side note, when we got the bill our server told us they comp us on the dessert because of the wait of our entrees(please note we never complained about the wait). It was a surprise and nice gesture, that tells us they noticed and cared which warm my heart!

Almost half a bowl of green bell peppers from my dish that was supposed to have red peppers.

A bit disappointed in our experience here. Came here on a Saturday evening in a group of 5 with reservations for 5:30. I believe it was everyone's first visit. We had tickets to a show nearby. My partner and I were a few minutes late but to my knowledge the first three to arrive were seated upon arrival. Albeit at a high top at the front of the restaurant. The seating wasn't the most comfortable. We tried a few appetizers. The server who brought and delivered the appetizers (different person than the lady who took our order) didn't notice that nobody had a plate, napkin, or tableware. The original server came back to check on us and I asked for these items. She told me they were "out of silverware at the moment" but would see what she could do, like I was asking for something out of line as our hot appetizers cooled. The wontons dressed in a sweet soy sauce were crispy but a little small and too sweet, zero spice. The spring rolls were also crispy but lacking in fillings and came with a standard sweet chili sauce that is probably made out of house, tasted like jarred stuff I have bought at the grocery store. After another ten minutes I gave up on the server and went to the table next to us to grab 3 tableware settings, and another server standing nearby said "hey put those back." I think he was joking but it wasn't great timing. He grabbed another two sets for us. Our server never returned with settings. The entrees took about 15 minutes after we finished our appetizers. Mind you this is after we all waited for a while to start eating because we had no utensils or napkins. They leave a pitcher of water on the table to mitigate need for service. I tried the peanut dish with beef. It said it included red bell peppers but it was literally 60% green bell peppers and 40% everything else. I hate green bell peppers. Ordered it "hot" or 3/5. It had almost zero spice. The small amount of beef was tender but the sauce was sweet and bland. One of our party can handle extremely hot food, and asked for 5/5 with extra spice. The server seemed very overly concerned about our spice levels. It was like nobody they serve ever orders more than medium 2/5. They had to end up bringing a side of peppers for us. Not authentic Thai food. More like something that an American from the Midwest would enjoy. Service: 2 Food: 2.5 Ambiance/comfort: 2

The meat didn't taste gamey and was actually super tender My absolute favorite was the mago sticky rice, just a fantastic amount of sweet, not so overpowering that you couldn't taste the individual flavors and I really appreciated that they let you pour the sweetened half and half yourself for better control on sweetness

Overall, the experience was fine. Not bad, not memorable. Fine. The highlights were the La Zi Ji (the spicy fried chicken) and the smashed cucumber salad. The chicken was the best thing we ordered. The cucumber salad is delicious, but be warned: it's quite spicy. Don't let the word "cucumber" fool you. The Beijing dumplings had a strong, assertive flavor. I'm still not sure I loved it. My wife got the Chinese borscht stew and her verdict was "it's ok," which was about the level of enthusiasm the whole table settled into. Then there was the char siu. This is supposedly the signature dish. It's been on the menu since the food truck days, and plenty of reviewers call it the best thing here. Mine was dry and badly overcooked. I ate two pieces, gave up halfway through the third, and sent it back. Good char siu should be juicy with a sticky, caramelized edge. This was closer to pork jerky with sauce on it. Given how many people rave about it, I'm willing to believe I caught an off night. But at $25 a plate, the signature dish shouldn't have off nights. One more thing. Hidden at the very bottom of the menu is a 6% "support fee" added to everything, along with a note that it's "not a tip." I can't stand this. If your costs went up, raise your menu prices so people walk in with both eyes open. The owner has framed this fee as a way to keep menu prices approachable. That's the problem. The prices only look approachable because 6% of them is hiding at the bottom of the page. This could have been a solid 4 star meal. The chicken and the cucumber salad prove the kitchen can cook. I may come back to give the char siu another shot, but for now Ginger Pig sits pretty low on my list.

The chicken fried rice was a clear win at an 8.5/10. The pad see ew was also really good and probably my favorite. The pad thai arrived a shade of orange previously unknown to science, but against all odds, it was actually pretty good. 7/10. The drunken noodles were okay, although the noodles felt a little undercooked to me. Crab rangoons were a respectable 6/10. The egg rolls arrived cold and extremely oily. They tasted good, but spiritually they had been through something. Portions were VERY generous for the price, so no complaints there. The restaurant was cute and they had the Zara Larsson dolphin artwork, which I personally consider an important cultural contribution. It was also incredibly loud inside. Not music loud, just the collective power of approximately 50 people all having something important to say at once. Service started off impressively fast. Getting the check, however, became a long-term goal. At some point I accepted that I lived there now. Parking on a Friday night was an act of psychological warfare, but I did choose to go out on a Friday, so I have nobody to blame but myself and perhaps urban planning. Overall, good food, huge portions, and a few standouts, but nothing life-changing. Glad I tried it. Would I come back? Maybe. Would I battle Friday night parking to do it?
