This review is based on a takeout dim sum order. I only got the Siu Mai, Har Gow, Pineapple Bun, and Steam Shrimp Rice Cake. They were all really good, so I'm sure dining in would've been even better. The buns were much bigger than some other dim sum places (Star Kitchen). I plan on going back to experience the carts and the other items on the menu. The Siu Mai was my favorite, and this place makes it looks especially nice with a shrimp right on top. Bonus they don't have mushrooms (which my son doesn't like). One thing I didn't like was the dim sum menu didn't have prices on there.

The cart food of Shu-Mai and shrimp har-Gau was fast and also ordered some potstickers and turnip cake off the menu. The service was attentive. They seem to have decorated more of the table area. The only thing is the prices have gone up in the past few years. Other than the bill for lunch, it was good

yummy - but plain white paper would be nicer...

Saturday dim sum is quite good but selection is little slimmer than other places - maybe Sundays are better. The dim sum servers are very nice in offering dishes and suggestions but the regular servers can get quite busy running from table to table. 2 wishes - 1. carpet needs shampooing; 2. use plain white paper on bakery dishes. The printed paper under bakery dishes just makes me nervous.

Staff flustered saying busy but restaurant was less than 2/3 full for late afternoon dim sum 1pm Sunday. Not many carts or offerings in dining room but ordered most dim sum on sheet from kitchen. Fresh proper items and big portions. Not news, Inflation affected prices, plenty of dim sum for 3 approaches $100 before tip.

We came here a couple months ago and recently came back. The food has gone down hill and a bit bland since our first visit so not sure what happened. Our latest visit was for an early dinner around 5pm, it was us and about two other tables. The server had to reminded of several times for things like: refill the hot water, our fork dropped and he saw it and just was looking at us until we called him over, waters had to asked to be refilled twice, silly things like that. What we swallowed: *STICKY RICE BBQ DUMPLINGS: These were delicious. *HOT AND SOUP SOUP: A couple months it was delicious but this time around it was bland. *CANTONESE GARLIC PORK LOIN: Hot and tasty *PINEAPPLE SWEET AND SOUR PORK RIBS: These were tasty but super fatty. *SESAME CHICKEN: This was the most consistent thing and delicious. *WALNUT PRAWNS: This was OK. *ORANGE CHICKEN: This was OK. *EGGPLANT GARLIC: This was mushier then most I have had. *MONGOLIAN BEEF *GARLIC PORK RIBS: These were out favorite on the last visit but they no longer had it on their menu. We are on the fence about this place. We were so excited to go back after our first experience was just so delicious but this last visit we were all like 'meh'. Not sure we will come back with so many other Asian restaurants we can explore for mediocre food and service.

We come here and usually get the Dim Sum, but they have a regular menu as well. If you come in during lunch time they will have the Dim Sum carts coming around and you can eat immediately - you can also order off the regular menu. For dinner you just order off the Dim Sum menu or the regular menu, no carts are coming around. They have some unique entrees, some I love and others - not so much. The service is always really prompt and good. The ambiance is cool, it's a big place with lots of seating and interesting decor. You'll definitely find things you like here and maybe some things that you don't like. It's fun trying their vast selection and most things I really enjoy. This is one of our favorite places to take people because it's good and different from the usual. We will continue to come back from time to time. Don't forget to combine the vinegar, the soy sauce and the chili oil for a dipping sauce with your entree choices. Recommended and happy eating!

bruh the best ha gao i've ever had ngl. hella flavorful. packed with shrimp. great rice wrapping. god damn. siu mai packed with shrimp n pork too. hella juicy asf too. and the wonton wrapper had a nice chew to it which i liked. chicken feet were solid, tastes like the chicken feet from most places. pork ribs were solid as well and pretty standard. the fried vegetable pork dumpling thing they brought out that looked like a ufo was also very good. nice n crispy. and for the shrimp cheung fun, the rice noodle was pretty thick but it was also very soft which offset the thickness. so it was honestly pretty good. the egg tart was soft asf and the crust cup thing was flaky and crispy. not too sweet as well, nice n custardy. their was a slight bit hint of eggyness which is a bit counterboring to what the name is but i dont think it should taste like that. but it was still p good ngl. nah but wtf. the noodles we ordered tho. the meat still had blood in it wtf. so we noticed it before we indulged n told em to bring it back n cook that bih to temp. but they brought it back out n ts was buns ngl. meat was like boot leather. and it was just hella greasy so i wasn't really fw it tbh.oh and i forgot to mention, the lil spinner on the table needa be greased or sum man. when im tryna spin it to get food on the other end of the table, ts j wont spin bruh! had to death grip the spinner with 5000 Gs just to turn it! oh and the bathroom tile was hella loose for some reason bruh. shi scared me! and also the caulk on the urinal in the bathroom is cracking off too. that gotta be a safety hazard fosho. but yeah overall solid place

This is the only Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum north of downtown Denver. I have been here a couple times for dim sum lunch. The dim sum menu has most of the popular items. In my opinion, their dim sum is one of the best in the Greater Denver area and price is about the same as other places. The service was adequate and prompt both times.

Great food and great service! Got some dumplings I forgot to take pictures of as well, the steamed bbq pork dumplings were my favorite.

Besides their dim sum, the Cantonese dishes of Hong Guan are also quite good, especially their Foshan beef chow fun and stewed lamb casserole. Surely a blessing for foodies up in the north. Here are some of their dim sum selections.

So excited for this new dim sum spot! My very picky Taiwanese parents have had to drive from Boulder all the way to south Aurora for any good Asian cuisine (except for China Gourmet in north Boulder). We're happy to find a more accessible spot for them closer in Broomfield! Delicious dim sum staples as well as a variety of other entrees! Newly renovated with a new owner (who is a chef himself). There is still the previous Emperor Palace sign, be sure to check our Hong Guan!

We came here to celebrate my nieces birthday on a Sunday evening for dinner. We were all there at 4 pm. The place is classically Chinese decorated and nice ambiance. Was immediately greeted and pointed to our table. The place was not really busy. There were only 2 full tables that was already in service and we were probably the last ones there for the dinner evening. Our waiters were great. We placed quite a few dimsum orders and a few dinner entrees. Everything was quite good and hot. The only thing they didn't get right was the eggplant dish. There were some things that weren't available on the menu. Overall, we had a very good experience here. After seeing the health score, I'm not quite sure if I want to return until they can fix it. Like I said, the food was good for this side of town. I'm really hoping that the new owner can really turn this place around and get it going again and sustain the business for this side of town. Not sure if they did any marketing and maybe people aren't quite sure what to think of this place. I would really like to return and try some more things here. Good luck to this place! When I see the health score change for better scores, I'll definitely return and support this business.

Stopped by yesterday to grab a snack and wasn't let down. Service was incredibly friendly and even though there was a short wait, they kept me updated throughout. Their Xiaolongbao (aka soup dumplings) were decent, at an affordable price. The egg custards were fresh, rich and flakey. The decor inside was intricate & upscale, and the restaurant didn't feel too dated, though I'm not sure how much remodeling was done after the last chinese place in the same building closed a while back. Will be returning to try more of their menu, soon.

Last night my group decided to order delivery from Chen's Garden and so we went on to making phone…read morecalls. We wanted two orders of the regular sesame chicken, but one with fried rice and the other with steamed white rice. As a side, we ordered grab cheese wontons. The grand total was $30 like any other Asian food establishment. The delivery was quick and easy because it was only three blocks away from where we were located in S Monaco. Yes our food came extra early, not even for thirty minutes which was a plus. The coolest thing about getting your food delivered from Chen's Garden was the fact that they put it in a box with a menu taped on top of the box to safely cover the food. Our food was delivered nicely packaged and with three fortune cookies. What are the odds? Our group was indeed three people. However the restaurant certainly had gotten our order wrong. We wanted two orders of Sesame Chicken and they mixed up our orders with Sesame and this other type of Chicken my friend originally wanted! (Can't truly remember the name of the chicken.) Well, they completely dumped fried rice all over the chicken and only gave us a box of white rice. This isn't at all what we wanted. The only close thing that was even correct about this all was the cheese wontons. That's it! The taste was painfully average. It tastes of plain, in fact, no flavor at all. Kudos to the seeds on the Sesame Chicken but it tasted bland and like nothing. The rice was a bit stale and hardly no vegetables at all. The wontons had these corners that were really hard to bite on. It was annoying taking it apart every time. The only thing was the delivery that impressed us all, but the food tasted similar to those dollar scoop Asian joints that have terror tasting quality food. I'm not a fan.

Always good for simple stuff, my favorite is teriyaki chicken and shrimp fried rice. Fast but…read morefresh. Great prices for huge servings
