Today was the second time that I tried this particular dumpling house. The first time was several years ago when it first opened and to be honest, I wasn't overly enthusiastic about it. However, I decided to give it a second try while I was in the area today, and I will say that it has considerably gotten better. I ordered the dumpling flight as well as some vegetarian potstickers. My dumpling flight was delicious if I had to make a recommendation on which dumplings to get it would be between the original soup dumplings, and the crab soup dumplings. I typically don't like crab and a dumpling because I don't like that fishy taste, but this didn't have it. The only one thing that I would change is that I would like more soup in the dumplings. The skin was actually quite nice. The potstickers were also very good and I would order those again. They were nice and plump and came out quite hot. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean. However, if you're in a party of six or more know that the restaurant is not huge and while they can accommodate a party of six, while I was there, a lady came in with seven people, and it was a bit of a struggle. Their bathroom was clean and I don't remember if it had a changing table. With tip it was probably about $40 so it is on the higher end of things for dumplings. Would I recommend this place? I enjoyed dinner at Bryan's. We started with the slightly spicy cucumber salad, which was tasty and refreshing. Perfect for a hot day! The salt and pepper chicken appetizer came with a generous portion of chicken thigh. It did not have the traditional salt and pepper finish I was looking for it, but still tasty when dunked into the sauce. I have to say- I was really impressed by the shrimp fried rice. It came with a bunch of plump, lovely shrimp! For Xiao Long Bao -(soup dumplings)- the star of the show -we tried the Cheese and Kurobuta Pork. Great filling and lots of soup! There was enough juice to eat the traditional way by poking the dumpling and pouring the juice into the spoon. The wrapper had a slight cheddar taste that paired well with the pork. I was very impressed. Our server was kind and attentive and made good recommendations. It's personal preference, but I have to say the interior is funky - it's very bright with shiplap walls. The Kurobuta pork dumplings in chili oil are truly phenomenal. I tried getting similar elsewhere and they didn't compare. I also get the pan fried chicken dumplings, and those two are always incredible. This place does an amazing job and has quickly become a favorite of mine in the area read more

I saw some Instagram posts about Bryan's Dumpling House opening a restaurant in Westminster, so I had to go try it. A group of us decided to try a few things on the menu and share, since we simply didn't want to settle for one or two things. We tried the marinated cucumbers and the lunch special which came with gyoza and an entree. We opted for the chicken gyoza and the chicken noodles. Then we ordered the regular, the kimchi, and the Szechuan soup dumplings. Overall everything was tasty and had lots of flavor. I would absolutely return to try more menu items!! read more

Food: Excellent! The shumai was flavorful with nice texture, and the soup had some great balance once you add some chili oil to your liking. Cute spot, very clean with plenty of parking. I ordered a pickup order. It was ready within a few minutes, the hostess was polite and greeted me immediately. Super cute and talk about family friendly!!! I came here with my sister and baby niece and we were so surprised with how thoughtful they were regarding child friendly things. Immediately, they asked if we needed a high chair, and without asking, they brought out a child friendly plate and silver warehouse, and a water in a plastic cup with a lid and straw. Now onto the food. Although we loved everything else about this place, we thought food was just okay. The dumplings themselves are super fun and we loved the concept of different flavors and colors. But sadly we weren't entirely impressed by the soup dumplings. I think I preferred the pan fried dumplings over any of the soup dumpling options. We also got ramen, a kids fried rice, cucumber salad, and the pork belly bao. Everything was good but I wasn't blown away by anything- which is totally acceptable! No fries here -- and even if you are here for the dumplings, I would caution you to give this spot a month or two to train their staff and find their rhythm because the service was the biggest disappointment. It was a busy Friday night -- so I was asked to put my name, party size and phone number down. The staff somehow crossed off my name, even though I was sitting next to the stand and never got called. Someone then asked me if I was waiting for an order, and when they realized that they had accidentally crossed my name off, they proceeded to seat me at a larger table even though my group was only 2 people. We were then ignored until I stood up and asked for them to take our order, because I noticed that two tables seated after us already had their bottle of wine and food coming out. To make matters worse -- after taking our order, they came back to ask us to relocate to a smaller booth. I wish that the staff had at some point said, "I'm sorry." Instead we were approached and told to pick an appetizer and/or a soup. I get that the intent was for it to be free... But an apology would have been nice. We were truly left to just watch a short-handed, poorly trained staff scramble... It was uncomfortable. The food would be a good way to introduce Asian foods to someone unfamiliar; it wasn't fusion, but it was a much more mild, less spicy version of Chinese dishes. There was also a pretty wide range of foods... As well as a few interlopers (lol ramen at a primarily Chinese restaurant). We snagged the xiao long bao sampler (garlic & cheese were my favorite), dumplings in chili oil, bbq pork buns and crispy chicken. Highly recommend that y'all share family style, especially since the menu indicates how many pieces come with each order. Fun place, it gets crowded quick and there's no reservations available. The spicy dumplings are insanely great. The soup dumplings are the same base, please choose the wrap color that you would like. We ordered 6 trays of dumplings and a round of pork buns. They were pretty understaffed the night we went, but the wait was worth it. Everyone in our group enjoyed the nums. The service here made the food awesome. The food was OK but the server Jesse was amazing. She was kind and patient and running around so many tables, but still took care of us very well. The food was average, but my wife and I thought that it would be better if they had dumplings with a side of chow mein or something like that so you could do dumplings and other foods and not just dumplings or other foods cause then I can get pretty pricey, pretty fast. ShanChaeng spicy crispy chicken. The chicken is dry with a ton of spicy peppers along with some sort of seed that numbs your tongue. There is no sauce that accompanies this dish and rice is an extra cost. I do not recommend. Tan Tan Noodle in Szechuan had a nice presentation, however, the flavors of the sauce and peanut sauce do not compliment each other at all, taste terrible. Wonderful dumplings! 2nd visit in a week to try the dumplings we didn't have the first time. The original soup dumplings were as good as in Hong Kong and the pork dim sum dumplings were delicious. The shrimp fried rice had a good number of large perfectly cooked shrimp. The service is friendly and efficient. Wouldn't change a thing. There seems to be a dumpling restaurant explosion in Denver lately and I'm not complaining! This place is great - authentic xiao long bao and in many flavours. You literally can order the rainbow in dumpling flavours. I think it's the closest you can get to Din Tai Fung in Colorado. They have a great menu, their fried rice and green beans are great and they even have the cucumbers that are the closest I've tasted to Din Tai Fungs. The mapo tofu is also good. It's close by and a great place to get your dumpling fix. Definitely recommend, it's clean and the service is courteous! read more
