    Singapore Rice Noodle

The food is amazing I only got the Singapore rice noodles but I bet that the rest of the food is great! I will definitely be coming back, the service was fast and my food came warm enough for me to drive 18 minutes back home and it's still really warm

Service was really great! She was very nice and our food came out pretty quickly. Inside is nice and clean but pretty small, but we came in earlier than usual dinner time so we were seated right away. Food was fantastic! The basil pork was really tasty. Definitely will be our new go-to. It looks like they have great to-go deals as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Food taste plain and lack of selected item. Price is expensive. Noodles tastes rough. Meat is plain. And it's not worth to pay that kind of price of $ 18.00

Really good overall. We came in on a Saturday and got lots of food. It was really good and the lady serving us was really nice and attentive. Our appetizers came out really quickly after ordering and tasted delicious. We also had a lot of leftovers for each dish. For the price point this place is well worth it and gives high quality food.

It's a friendly place to eat. They're welcoming and so appreciative of your patronage. Specials are available during the week for take out orders only. Looks like they provide free sides with your entree orders. Clean and bright dining area. Large shared parking lot. He chose chicken chow mein and I ordered beef chow fun. We got Singapore noodles to go. The chow fun was good. Tasty and not oily. The chicken chow mein sauce was good. He complained that there were too many veggies and not as much chicken for a chicken dish. The veggies were fresh and I did like them with the sauce in the white rice. Yum!

Still a great place for authentic Chinese food. We dropped in on our bike ride along the trail to Cherry Creek reservoir and they were very accommodating to put our bikes in the corner while we dined. The food continues to be terrific: the mapo tofu fabulous, just the right spice for my taste. Beef noodle soup excellent. The tsong you ping appetizer excellent. Don't miss this great place in a strip mall on Dartmouth.

The ambience was typical for Chinese restaurant in the area. Nice. The service was really good. Very fast. And the food was delicious.

This is the spot to come for a really good Chinese in Denver. It's delicious! I've been a few times, and every experience is great! I highly recommend the orange chicken and pork with garlic sauce. The orange chicken, comes with dried pieces of orange, and it is sooo good! The pork with garlic sauce is fried pork strips with buttery garlic sauce over rice. I've never had anything like it, and I love this dish! Honey walnut shrimp is also very yummy, and the egg rolls are exceptionally good, don't skip these! You are served complimentary yeasty buns with sweetened condensed milk over as a dessert. They're really good! The restaurant is small, so be prepared to wait during the lunch and dinner rush. Takeout is also offered. I wouldn't recommend this spot for people with food allergies. I don't believe the menu is clearly marked for dietary restrictions.

Lovely family dinner here. Our waiter was David and he checked on us many times. We started off with crab cheese won ton with a sweet and sour sauce. Then had a delicious hot and sour soup which was not to spicy. We ordered off the special chef's menu which was translated into Chinese too. Nice touch. Our entrees were beef chow fun dry style, Yang Chow fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp. The shrimps were lightly battered and were not greasy and had the same sweet and sour sauce we use to make at our restaurant eons ago. There was so much food we had take home bags. This place has off street parking in a small shopping center and very clean interior. Will come back next time I am in town.

Ask the Community - Hong Kong Cafe

Can adults order from the lil farmers options? How much to upgrade to the Parmesan fries?

🤔 this is a Chinese restaurant

Is Hong Kong Cafe under new ownership? Is the food completely different and when is Hong Kong French Toast coming back? If Hong Kong Cafe is under new ownership/chefs, did the old chefs open a new restaurant and where can I find it? Please help!

It looks like the original crew opened a new restaurant called Hong Kong Station in Centennial. The menu looked the same but with much more selection. According to Facebook, grand opening is tomorrow.

Are they under new management? The food tastes different now so I am curious if something changed?

Not sure about new management, but I have heard that they have different chefs. And the Cantonese entrées are no longer on the menu.

We miss you! Is there an ETA for when you will be completed with the kitchen remodel and open for business? I have been dreaming of your salt and pepper wings! 😊

They have reopened as of July 23rd. I ordered to go this evening, the usual I've been getting, and everything was bland and some items completely different. So disappointed.

We miss you, I hope everything is ok. Do you know when you will be back open?

They are open as off 7/27/2020 with a new menu

    Are they reopened yet?

    No 7/19/2020

Jenny are you going to reopen or relocate? You told me that the landlord there was a problem. Please post on yelp if something changes.

They are finally open as of 7/27/2020 with a new temp menu

When are you opening back up again?

They are finally open! 7/27/2020 with a new temp menu

We miss you, Jenny and team! Is there an anticipated date for reopening?

    I second this!

Are you open for takeout during the COVID lockdown? Uber eats and Postmates labels you as closed :(

Yes, they are open! For takeout and delivery.

Has anyone noticed that the phones are down today?

They are slammed busy with it being Christmas.

    Are they msg free?

If you ask for no MSG, a few of the sauces have it in it like oyster and a small amount in hoisin sauce. I dont like MSG and I have not had an issue and I don't ask for it to be left out

We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.
