The food was delicious and prepared quickly. Portion sizes aren't skimped either. The meal came with some traditional accompaniments like pickled radish and onions and black bean paste. The service of the restaurant reminds me of restaurants in Korea--you let the server know when you're ready and then you order. They check on you often and make sure you are satisfied with your food and experience. The owner is originally from Korea and spoke with me for a bit. I came in at 6PM on a Saturday and the place was packed. I was quickly greeted. Service is truly amazing considering there were only 2 servers. The black bean noodles and jjampong really hit the spot. This is comfort food. My kids killed the hong kong soy & garlic wings. Such a solid meal, reasonable prices and amazing service. I always wanted to try this place since I saw it posted on Instagram by an influencer. As a foodie, my mouth waters over the mention of Jajangmyeon. I got the meat Jajangmyeon and asked for a side of the chili sauce.. and boy, it was phenomenal! I needed some meat to the black bean noodle so that was a good call. Almost felt like I was eating bacon or something like that. Service was spot on as well! Very attentive, and they brought me the menu stat. Not to mention- kept checking on me if the food was to my liking and if I needed anything else. I came on a Friday evening (6pm ish) and there were plenty of tables and seating for guests. I have been meaning to try Paik's Noodle for a long time so I'm glad I finally did. We ordered the jjajangmyeon, chicken fried rice and soy garlic wings. Our main dishes came with pickled daikon, raw onions and some soybean based paste similar to the jjajangmyeon sauce. Everything tasted delicious. But I went for the jjajangmyeon because its one of my favorite Noodle dishes and they did not disappoint. It was savory and a little sweet and the noodles were nice & chewy as they should be. It was so filling and they gave a good portion so I had enough to take home with me. They have more than enough seating and the parking lot area where its located provides ample parking as well. This restaurant was nearby and so we headed here for a quick, casual family lunch. Paik's is a Korean Chinese fusion restaurant chain by famous television host and chef, Jong Won Paik. Their simple, but tasty dishes marry the spices and flavors of Korea and China wonderfully. We ordered the jajangmyeon, meat jajangmyeon, jaengban jjajang, and tangsuyuk. Yesss, noodles on noodles on noodles. Each dish is meant to be shared, family style, especially the jaengban jajang which was a huge portion. I really liked the meat jajangmyeon, but the jaengban jjajang was definitely the stand out. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the toppings were delicious with the seafood being my favorite. It was a bit spicy for me, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The tangsuyuk was pretty standard, but tasty as well with the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The sauce comes separate and can get a little messy, but overall good dish. Everything came out really quickly and the service was prompt and on point. We came here for dinner with a few friends on Friday evening and pleasantly wasn't as crowded. We got a booth and started with a few beers. For apps got all 3 available options - 2 types of wings and the fried dumplings (Ganmandu). I liked the fried dumplings a lot and particularly enjoyed the soy garlic wings. Very flavourful yet juicy. For mains, we got the Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), it came with fried pork in a plate and the sauce separate which was nice so we could enjoy the crispy pork. It was spicy and the sourness was actually pleasant and went well with the crispy pork. We also got the Jjampong and Jajangmyeon for mains. My friends and my husband really enjoyed the Jjampong, it was spicy and came piping hot. It had seafood and since I am allergic to shellfish, I just tasted a spoonful of the broth - it was very tasty. The jajangmyeon was alright, as someone who's actually tried jajangmyeon in Seoul, I did not enjoy it as much. I love Jajangmyeon and thought it was on the sweeter side. It is undoubtedly one of my favorite dishes, period! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to. For some background, Paik is the last name of Paik Jong-Won who is a South Korean chef turned very successful business man and entrepreneur. He owns a plethora of food chains in South Korea that all have raving reviews for their great food quality, excellent service, and prices. Colorado has been lacking a wide choice of jjajangmyeon spots until recently where we have seen at least a couple that come to mind pop up. Score! Paik's is a fantastic addition to that lineup. As mentioned before, Paik's restaurants are known for food quality, service, and prices which all hit the target here. Culinary War's fan here. I was excited to try out Paik's Noodle and planned to come here before my trip to Hmart. It's the perfect place to slip into a truly authentic Korean Chinese experience. From the moment you step in you're greeted by Chef Paik's picture and an open restaurant floor plan. We sat down at a table, but didn't know if we were supposed to order at the counter. Unless you're ordering to-go, a staff will take your orders at your table. Same with the check (which we settled it at the cash register as we didn't know). We loved the meat jajangmyeon and the tangsuyuk. The jajangmyeon benefitted from the additional pork. It's a very savory, mouth watering dish. Noodles were plentiful and cooked to perfection. The pickled turnip was delicious to cleanse the palate from the oiliness of the dish. The tangsuyuk was also a very generous portion. Freshly crispy and savory like a shiitake mushroom broth. You're supposed to pour the sauce over the fried pork, which we did. But next time I'd rather dip it to preserve the crispiness. There weren't many people when we got there at 6pm but more people came in after while we were eating. We were sat down quickly and they took our orders pretty quickly as well. We got bokkeummyeon (stir fried noodles with seafood and oyster sauce for $13.95), Hong Kong Wings in Soy & Garlic Sauce (5 piece but they gave us 6!! For $9.10), Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles for $10.95). The stir fried noodles were really good! It's similar to lomein and they give you a lot of seafood and noodles in there. We took some of this home cause we were stuffed after we finished the wings and black bean noodles. You can't go wrong with soy garlic wings. These were crispy and had good flavor to them! I've never had black bean noodles at a restaurant. I've made them following recipes online and the instant version and this was pretty good! You get some pickled radish, raw onions, and some more black bean paste on the side. The pickled radish was a nice pallette cleanser while eating this! I had a great time honestly and the workers were quick and nice. You go to the counter to checkout as well but it was a great experience overall! read more

I've been to a location in Utah a couple of years ago, and reeeeaaaally enjoyed it. The chef behind this chain is famous in Korea and my mom watches all of his cooking videos on youtube and attempts to make them herself when she can. The food is probably some of the better "korean-chinese" food restaurants that I've been to. My friends and decided to eat family style because the most important dishes have to be: Sweet and sour pork, jjampong, and jjajangmyeon. I would recommend that you eat all 3 at these type of places! It was clean and there was a decent amount of seating. The service was professional and got us everything that we needed. My favorite thing that I ate would have to be the sweet & sour pork (you can pour the sauce on top or dip...dipping is the only correct way, lol.) It was lighter than most batters used for this and I really enjoyed it. Something that I wasn't a fan of was the sweet and spicy chili shrimp-it wasn't spicy at all and was too sweet. The sauce was drenched into the breading and it wasn't that great. This place wasn't as good as the location I went to Utah, but I'm still super happy that we've got one in Colorado because it's still pretty decent. Hope to come here again sometime. read more

This is a popular chain in Korea founded by a famous chef. Staff is friendly and kind. This was Vons Chicken before so it's spacious with plenty of seating. It's great for solo eating, couples, or large parties. The black bean noodles was delicious and good to share between two people. The photo had cucumbers but ours came out with peas. I'm glad they did not overwhelm the dish with veggies. It's a good amount of pork given to you. The dumpling and mayo shrimp was good but I don't remember it too much. The wings were delicious. I'm always excited when I see Koreanized Chinese food restaurants open. I had mixed feelings about whether to expect something amazing or something terrible. The expectation of something amazing comes from the man that is plastered all over the walls in the restaurant. He is probably the foremost food celebrity in Korea and produced some of my favorite food documentaries. Would he dare stake his reputation on anything other than excellence in the food industry? The expectation of something terrible comes from the fact that I've only had good Koreanized Chinese food from Chinese chefs who developed their career in Korea. A chain? Hopefully it was not going to be just a random, run-of-the-mill line cook in the kitchen. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted, seated, and presented with menus. The inside was nicely decorated and clean. The area next to the cashier station, however, was in stark contrast to the rest of the place and looked kind of sloppily thrown together. We ordered the 4 basic dishes that all restaurants of this type are judged on: jja jjang myeon (black sauce noodle), jjam bbong (spicy soup noodle), tang soo yook (sweet and sour pork), and fried rice. Dishes came out as they were completed, with tang soo yook coming out first. This is very typical, normal, and almost expected for these restaurants. You don't get everything at once when ordering a variety of dishes because they are avoiding a situation where things sit under a heat lamp forever. The jja jjang myeon was absolutely delicious and is very close to being as good as I can imagine it to be. The noodles were perfection (size, texture, flavor) and the sauce was so flavorful and wonderful. The cuts on the ingredients were just the right size, the sauce was not too thick, nor too watery. My only nitpick was the quality of the pork. There was the slightest hint that it wasn't the absolute top quality meat. Still good, but this is what could improve. If jja jjang myeon was the only item on their menu, then I wouldn't really have a choice but to give a 5 star review, though I would point out and complain about missing the other staples. The tang soo yook had good and bad. The pork itself was not the best quality and the sauce was too sweet with some weird, extra processed flavor going on. The coating on the pork seemed to be perfect, but as soon as we put the sauce on it, it instantly started losing the crisp factor and started becoming chewy. Jjam bbong was kind of okay. The noodles were perfect, but the seafood was average and the broth was also sort of average. The pork in this dish was especially unimpressive, as the lower quality taste of it seemed to be fully expressed in this dish. Finally, the fried rice. Their only options were vegetarian and shrimp. I was hoping for combination meat, but strangely that wasn't an option. It had that classic Koreanized Chinese flavor in it, but I wasn't impressed with anything else about it. When executed well, this dish can be outright addicting. The fried rice here was about what i would expect at the cheapest, most careless Koreanized Chinese restaurants. This one felt extra greasy, as if butter or too much oil were added. At least it didn't taste bad, I guess. To sum it up, their noodles are a perfection that is not often achieved by their peers. The quality of pork flavor left much to be desired. The jja jjang myeon was excellent. Everything else was a average to below average, and frankly disappointing compared to their jja jjang myeon. 3 star overall, but I will absolutely come back for their 5 star jja jjang myeon. For everything else, I have a short list of other places in Denver to get those items. read more

Tried out this new Korean Chinese restaurant in Aurora. Had high hopes, and I was overall satisfied. I would have to say that the best thing they have here is the Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles). This is a must get. I was craving this the most, and it def hit the spot. Also ordered Jjamppong, which I thought was pretty good and warm to the soul with a good level of spiciness. I thought these were pretty filling; I split these with one other person and we were fairly full. Their fried dumplings were crispy, but not as flavorful as I'd like. Don't think I would get again. Also got the Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), which I thought was fairly bland, even with the sauce, and the sauce itself was too sweet for my taste (honestly thought of eating the fried pork with the black bean sauce, would try this for sure). Otherwise, it's a nice, spacious restaurant. Very aesthetic and felt authentic. I think they need to work more on having a process when it comes to seating customers and cleaning up after them (saw multiple times that people were waiting cause a table was dirty and no one had gone to clean yet), but they are just starting out. The overall restaurant is clean and good environment to dine in. The service is quick and food comes out relatively quickly. There 짜장면 (jjajangmyun) is also really good which is one of my mom's fav! I love a good Jajangmyeon, it just just hits the spot really well. My go to is Yong Gung, but Paik's Noodle is going to be my top spot now just because the prices are great and portions are huge! With inflation and rising prices, it's pretty rare to find a meal at $11. The noodles had a great chew and firmness to them the black bean sauce was very tasty. The black beans, pork, cabbage and onions all blended well. As usual you get sides of radish and onions, which were great palate cleansers after each bite. I was really excited when I saw that they were opening a location here. This is a chain jajangmyoen restaurant in Korea that is really popular. They are still working out the kinks, and they are not offering takeout until next month. I came here with a couple of friends. We got ss pork beef jjamppong and jajangmyeon. I love the jajangmyeon it is not overly salty. I wish though they gave you a little more as you get less compared to p&y or yonggung I personally wasn't a fan of the beef jjamppong. It was a little bland for my liking. I would stick with the original one. The highlight of this meal was definitely the tangsuyuk/ss pork! It was lite and airy and delicious. I would definitely come back for this! The service was on the slower end but we went opening day so the are still fixing and practicing. Thrilled to have this JJM megachain here in the Denver area. There used to be a JJM spot in this strip mall that turned into a Pho place, and that was devastating because it was the best one in Aurora. Now, Paik's Noodle is in the location that used to be VONS Chicken with its own brand of Asian eats goodness. Is this the best JJM or JB you've ever had? It is not, but you won't regret having it. Is this the best service you've ever had as they keep up with the many people that come in? No, it is not. Is the ambiance better than every other JJM spot in Aurora right now? Yes, it is. It's brighter, looks friendlier, and cleaner than the few challengers left in the area. This is not mind-blowing JJM, but it is a good version that has been expertly tuned to appeal to the masses.
