When we went here we were expecting the old menu but this place has new owners so the menu has changed a little bit but that was okay! We got to try something new and my gosh it was amazing. I forgot the dish we had because it was a few weeks ago but I believe it was the spicy pork soup? If I'm wrong.. sorry! But it was so good! Can't wait to go back and try more! Service was amazing. Thought it was cool how every table was like in its own room.

Dumpling hot pot. Massive dumplings the size of a hockey puck.

We were a bit worried that we were the only people in the entire restaurant, but because of that, service was tremendous. Everything done with care and quality. The menu had popular Korean dishes like tteokbokki and bulgogi to more obscure dishes like silkworms and braised pig's feet. We ordered a variety of dishes to get different flavors. The kimchi pancake was flavorful, tangy, and a mix of crispy exterior and soft interior with little bursts of crunch from the cabbage mixed in. It came with the perfect amount of dipping sauce. We also had the tteokbokki, but felt it was overloaded with fish cakes and not enough rice cakes and the sauce was a bit thin for our liking. The sweet and spicy chicken wings were wonderful, but wholly overpriced. Definitely wonderful though--as we have come to expect from Korean fried chicken. Lastly, we had the dumpling hot pot. I was not as much of a fan of this one, but it was still very tasty. The dumplings are massive, and they have a nice variety of vegetables. Wish there was more broth since it was the star of the dish, but by then end of the first bowl of soup, the broth was scant and we turned off the burner ourselves so as not to evaporate any more of it! The atmosphere was okay. They could elevate and revamp it. The place had a dingy basement smell that we couldn't shake, but once the food started cooking in the kitchen, it improved. They had popcorn with the cutest wire fry baskets to serve it in, but the popcorn tasted stale. Our drinks were served immediately and nice and cold from the fridge that they have at the front counter. The most odd decoration was a Victorian carriage, which we were ushered to sit in and get a photo op. Cute, but a bit odd. Overall, I would recommend this place for the excellent service, the experience, and the good food. Remember to bring your wallet. The prices are a bjt on the high end.

Hands down one of the best Korean foods that I've had! Don't let the plaza's appearance deter you from coming here. We came after a night out and when I tell you that the foods just hit different. The braised ribs were super tender! The sauce that it came with was to die for. I could just have rice and that sauce and I would be happy. The spicy rice cake was delicious. The rice cake was chewy and the sauce was perfect. The army stew was so heartwarming. I really enjoyed the mix of ingredients. A little different than the ones I've had. The broth is lighter and still packed with flavors. If you get a chance, you should also try the banana maekgeolli (rice wine). It sounds weird but delicious. Overall, I would totally come back here for late night foods!

A great find tucked in the corner of a rundown strip mall. The Budae Jjigae was excellent, enough food for several people. My wife loved the chicken. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We have visited numerous times and have never been disappointed. Excellent food and wonderful service!

This place is so cute! The food was absolutely delicious, the ambience was great, and the staff were so kind and attentive. Yuna and Liam took great care of us, they recommend us their favorite soju and food combinations, we loved it all! A fun little add on was that for every $100 you spend, you get to spin a wheel for a prize, we got that chance to spin twice and got some free snacks. They also have a photo zone which my friends and I of course had to take advantage of. I highly recommend k-pocha! AMAZING. My friends and I will absolutely be coming back here!!

The tap room is clean and modern, and offers games as well. On my visit, it was dog friendly. Love the serious inclusive messaging! Ordered a flight, then a 10 oz pour for a variety of flavor. Enjoyed interacting with patrons and my companion in a local award winning establishment.

Some breweries chase trends. Cerebral Brewing quietly out-thinks them…read more Located in the Bluebird District along Colfax, Cerebral is what happens when scientific precision meets genuine creativity~and then invites the neighborhood in to drink with it. The space strikes that perfect balance: modern but warm, intentional without being pretentious. High ceilings, soft lighting, barrels tucked into corners, clean lines behind the bar, and enough room to actually settle in (inside and out). The beer program is where Cerebral really flexes. Flights span an impressive range~clean lagers, expressive saisons, juicy IPAs, thoughtful stouts, and beautifully nuanced wild ales. Nothing feels rushed or gimmicky; every pour feels deliberate. You can taste the technical care, but also the artistic risk-taking. This is a brewery that respects process and imagination. Service? Genuinely top-tier. Not just friendly, but engaged. I ended up sitting down, chopping it up with the brewer and locals alike~no ego, no rush, just real conversation and shared appreciation for good beer. That kind of interaction is rare and says a lot about the culture here. Cerebral doesn't just pour beer~it creates an experience rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and community. Whether you're dissecting a flight or just vibing with a single pour, this place earns its reputation. Come thirsty. Leave smarter. Return often.
