We drove an hour to try this place and I would happily do it again. The restaurant itself was beautiful, the service was excellent (Tony was great!!) and the food was amazing. We had the Ajarian Khachapouri and Baba Ganoush as a table and I'm still thinking about both of them several weeks later. The Grilled Shrimp had amazing flavor as well. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Such a shame that I can't give a lower rating than 1 star because this place certainly deserves it. And this pains me to give such a review because as a fellow Armenian I expected more. But this place has the WORST customer service ever. We are traveling from out of state and specifically drove out of our way to go to this Armenian restaurant. My elderly parents, myself and my child come in along with my dad's service dog - who by the way has a Federal service license and is extremely well behaved. The waitress said we had to leave because dogs are not allowed. We advised her that as she can see from the service dog vest and the LICENSE (yes we even had a badge for the dog) she is allowed in a restaurant by law. The waitress then begins to argue with us and threatens to call the Health Department if we don't leave with the dog! Which we tell her go ahead the dog by law is allowed. Well as you can imagine we decided to just leave because after the horrific service we had on the whopping 2 minutes in that place there was NO way on God's green earth we would give them a penny of our hard earned money. You would think that there would be better treatment to their customers especially fellow Armenians that came all the way to try out their food -- and to boot, the place was completely empty so they seriously needed the clients anyway. Ugh RUDE. Don't bother going. Anyway who turns away 2 elderly people and a child is not worth your valuable time and money. read more

Above all else, this is the only place in town where you can get Hot borscht! Even the so called kosher deli's don't have it here! Tho not as meaty as hole in the wall in Sevastopol, which has an entire boneless beef rib in it, it'll still do just fine! read more

We first indulged in khinkali and khachapuri in 2023 at a Georgian restaurant in Poland. We were delighted to find those dishes -- the first a large soup dumpling, the second a pillowy, savory pastry with cheese and sometimes egg -- close to home in Aurora at Ochag Bar & Grill, an Armenian restaurant with specialties from across the region. We had  khinkali, khachapuri, marinated egg plant and pilaf.  Yes, we ordered too much. All fresh and tasy. The service was warm and efficient. There's something about being called "guys" in the friendly tone our waiter there used that always makes me feel at home. We happened to be there on a busy evening. Beautiful new restaurant with Armenian/Eastern/Mediterranean dishes. The ONLY place I have found Dolmas/Dolmades with rice AND meat. All the Greek restaurants in the area are vegetarian. I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. If you are looking for something other than Mexican, Indian, Asian or Italian, please check out this place. We need more like it. read more

Went for dinner with friends. So loud (106 DbA) , louder than a jet engine for context could not visit all night. Unbelievable volume to the music absolutely no relief and the most ridiculous experience I've ever had trying to have dinner.. UNLESS YOU LIKE NOISE SO LOUD THAT YOU'LL NEVER HEAR AGAIN AVOID THIS PLACE IN ALL COSTS. food and Service got all that great anyway. We happened upon this place as we were shopping at Lenny's for golf items. We peeked in and it looked like they were set up for a party, which they were but told us we could come in for dinner as we were early. The place is very pleasant inside. We had a very nice wait person who spoke Russian and another language. We had no idea what kind of restaurant this was but we are always game to try something new. Turns out it is Georgian/Armenian with a mix of a few other countries. We ordered hummus first while we perused the rest of the menu. Hummus was quite good. We then ordered Lahmajoun which is a Turkish Pizza/flatbread topped with ground beef. This was very tasty. We also ordered a Chicken Shawarma which was also very good. For dessert we got a cake that looked like a peach and filled with dulce de leche, very good. We would come back as the food was excellent, portions were quite large and the wait person was excellent. They were serving a fruity looking drink for the party in pitchers. I asked what that was and it was described to me and they gave us a glass to sample, Another tasty treat. It is called Kompot, a Ukrainian drink with apples and other fruits, not too sweet and very refreshing. Ask for this! BTW, we ordered appetizers and it was plenty of food! read more

Made a mistake not going there sooner. It is wonderful! Ambiance beyond expectation! Owners paid attention to every little thing that makes dining pleasant. Like having fresh flowers on tables. We went there for lunch. I ordered grilled shrimps, my friend had marinated cabbage and samsa. Everything was just great. Next time I will take pictures because serving was very unique. We discovered Ochag recently and went with another couple this evening. The food was absolutely delicious. I am of Armenian descent and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered a lot of food: Appetizers- meat platter (sujuk, basturma and beef sausage), lamanjou (Armenian/turkish pizza), and the katchapouri (cheeses in puff pastry). We then ordered the eggplant stuffed with beef and herbs, rice pilaf and lamb kebobs. We really enjoyed everything and Christina, one of the owners, was friendly and very helpful in answering our questions. We also ordered a bottle of the Georgian red wine (saperavi sanadimo) which was surprisingly very nice, especially with our meal. We will definitely go back and recommend it to friends. read more
