Very good falafel, eggplant was decent too but too expensive $9 for 6 slices. Service is very good, it's a casual place so nothing fancy to expect. Entrees are large portions, Greek salad was quite small portion.

Best middle eastern in Denver. Great service as is the custom. Wonderful food. And easy street parking. My fave when visiting.

Solid middle eastern place with a pretty extensive menu. I have ordered a few items for take-out on different occasions. My consistent experience with this place is that the service is stellar in this family run place and the prices are reasonable for the current climate. The food is flavored well and consistent but not always the most tender cuts of meat. I do enjoy supporting this place and they could be a 5-star review with slightly better cuts of meat. I personally would not mind paying the difference in price for a better product.

Newish to the neighborhood and decided to give Phoenician a try. We ordered to-go and had a couple of drinks while we waited. Gyro Sandwich and Greek Salad w/ Gyro. Ambiance of the restaurant was cozy, yet open and family-oriented. It was very clean and the bar top was glistening. My only complaint is that we ordered a side of pita, but when we got home we didn't have it. We weren't charged for it, but still disappointing.

Front counter. Fairly empty today. Sadly.

Sadly disappointed. I was looking forward to trying this place with my half-Armenian mother-in-law who thought this place would live up to its star reviews. It was almost empty when we arrived on Saturday evening at 5:00 PM and the employees seemed eager to be helpful. Our server was very sweet. We ordered grape leaves and garlic dip with pita for appetizers and the grape leaves were fresh, warm and tasty. It was served with a yogurt dip which had little flavor but the garlic dip had ALL the garlic in Denver whipped into its fluffiness. It was actually too garlicky (I can't believe I'm saying that) but I added it to all the rest of the food I ordered which helped a little. While the pita bread looked freshly made, it was too hard and crispy to enjoy, like some ingredient was missing or the flour was old. My "salad" was comprised of chunked cucumber & tomatoes with a sprinkle of red onions but no dressing. Kinda bland. The 3-kebab plate I ordered came out smelling terrific and the rice was fabulously fragrant but the koftka was dry and over cooked as was the chicken kebab. The lamb kebab was tender and tasty however. The hummus was beautiful to behold but was sadly flavorless. It's like they forgot to season this batch when making it. A band began to set up prior us leaving, so perhaps it was good that we left. I really wanted to like this place but regrettably I cannot recommend it.

Took my son here for dinner before our concert. The place is decently sized and casual. Our waiter was ok and not as attentive. He was young. Not sure how long he worked there, but I gave him grace and not let it bother me too much. He was very nice which I liked very much. We started off with some falafel to share. The falafels were delicious. My son ordered the meat combo plate which comes with pita bread. He chose two beef and one chicken kabobs. I ordered the gyro plate which doesn't come with pita bread. His serving of pita bread was more than plenty to share. The pita bread was so delicious and warm out of the oven. My son really enjoyed his meat combo plate. He said he liked the chicken kabob more than the beef kabobs. I really enjoyed my gyro plate. I also ordered a piece of baklava to try too. The baklava was good and not as sweet. It's definitely great for people who needs to cut back on sugar. The baklava was ok for me. I still like Jerusalem's baklava the most. This place is good. I would come back.

Second time here, great service and delicious, generous portions. Go for the labneh, garlic sauce, and good on everything. Not toum, don't get me wrong, it's more of an aioli.

The buffet allowed me to try everything - and it's nothing like what you're picturing. There was constantly warm, fresh pita to try the hummus, whipped feta and tabbouleh. There was constantly fresh fruit out with honey yogurt that was to die for. While there was a ton of meats and cheeses to try from, the star of the show was the falafel. You can't miss trying it, it was the best falafel I've ever had. The vibes were great for brunch, and I highly recommend going for buffet style if you want to try a bunch of things on the menu.

The restaurant has this nice open feeling to it with a full bar (you can order off the full menu if a solo or pair dining) and then plenty of tables. I recommend coming with a larger group if you can so you can try lots of things. Servers are nice and attentive. Obviously you have to try various hummus plates. The foraged mushroom and brussels sprouts were my favorite. I especially loved the jalapenos on the brussels sprouts one. The hummus itself was creamy and rich and the pita they bring is warm and fresh. The tabbouleh was fine but nothing spectacular and it says it has avocado in it but I didn't detect it. I love muhammara and theirs did not disappoint. The pickled vegetables were nice but I also love pickled anything. Absolutely make sure to get the bright green falafels. Probably my favorite of the night. Perfectly crispy exterior with a soft warm center that I'd eat over and over again. We ordered the duck but I was quite full so did not taste it. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is the scallops were incredibly underwhelming and quite bland. The scallops themselves were cooked fine but no flavor and the pomegranate sauce didn't add much. There desserts were also just so-so.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. We shared the Baba Ganoush to start. This is pureed, baked eggplant. The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful. The plate included a large tower of savory rice, a rich tzatziki sauce, a nice side of silky hummus, some pickled vegetables, and more pita. Another delicious offering and a huge portion. We also had soup as the entrees come with soup or salad. My friend tried the lentil soup and said it was flavorful and tasty. I had the tomato soup which was hardy and richly-flavored.
