We came here on Halloween night after leaving the club, and it was definitely pretty packed with customers, which made sense given the holiday. Despite the crowd, the service was still really good the person to take our order was attentive, friendly, and did a great job keeping up with everything going on. The workers in general were really nice, which made the experience enjoyable even with the busy atmosphere. I personally am not a huge fan of this type of food, but I decided to order fries, and I have to say, the seasoning on them was absolutely delicious. I liked them so much that I even asked for extra, which is always a good sign. I was a little upset, though, because I had planned to get a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Unfortunately, this location didn't have it on the menu. Don't laugh at me, but I suggested this spot because the Phoenix location I've been to multiple times sells a really good grilled cheese and tomato soup, which is why I thought it would be perfect for a late-night meal after the club. It was a bit of a disappointment to find that the menu wasn't consistent between locations. Other than that discrepancy, everything else was great. The food we did have was tasty, the drinks were good, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The vibe is very much a college town feel, which makes sense since it's right near DU. It's casual, lively, and a fun place to grab a bite late at night, especially after an event or night out. Overall, I'd come back again, but next time I'll double-check the menu at this location first if I'm craving something specific like the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Other than that, solid service, tasty food, and a fun, college-town atmosphere. read more

Got this food from Uber eats- for some reason it was a "top rated" Mediterranean restaurant on Uber eats. Well I should have looked in yelp, bc I was not impressed. My food (which was 22.00 for a gyro plate) was mostly rice, there was not much meat and a lot of it was literally charred. The dogs still ate it haha but barely. The hummus was good, the pita seemed fresh, but was flavorless. Uber eats order was delivered quickly, so I am assuming service is fast. For what I paid I am very unimpressed and will not be ordering from here again. read more

After a long day at school, my friend and I drove over 30 minutes for some PitaFresh. Went here around 10:45. My friend is a vegetarian and clearly ordered a calzone with no meat. I heard it. The food took a while to come out, but we weren't upset at this point. My vegetarian Gyro came out and was delicious. However, when my friends calzone came out, there was meat embedded in the crust. It took her a long time to rally courage to speak up because she normally doesn't make a stink at restaurants. When she finally went up and asked, the man she ordered from completely denied her asking for no meat. This was strange, as I presume the customer is always right. It took a lot of back and forth with the employee being quite rude. In one moment he urged "You can either pay for a new one or stay with that one". It got to the point where my timid friend backed off and we just left. Not a nice employee. Gave the Calzone to a homeless person, even he thought it was gross. read more

Reordered and they sent the salad but no utensils. 2 hours later finally getting my food, how am I supposed to eat this salad in my hotel room?? I'm thrilled to report that after enjoying our meal this evening (via UberEats), Pita Fresh is back and more delicious than ever! I love this place, the food's usually great, but FOR CRYING OUT LOUD... nearly every time we order delivery (this time Door Dash) they forget to include the pita bread. Sometimes they include some but it isn't the correct number of pieces based on your order. We're not over here trying to eat hummus with a spoon! Work on your staging, team. read more

I went in on a late night around 2 AM. I work late sometimes and get hungry, but there isn't a lot of good choices out there around that time so I was glad to find this place I was greeted by a young lady who is very nice. I ended up getting the beef Shawarma plate, it came out to $20 they made it fresh. The picture is when I got home of the street is a Jerusalem Restaurant. I have been going there forever but they stopped staying open late. The beef Shawarma was really good. The rice was good, the hummus was OK it lacked a little flavor, but the pita was amazing. This is our 2nd visit at Pita Fresh. My fiancé and I ordered 2 shawarmas; 1 beef 1 chicken & hummus. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich for my daughter. After taking a bite of the chicken shawarma sandwich I noticed a crunchy texture which I spit out immediately ! come to find out it was a piece of glass ! Now this could've been very dangerous for my daughter to eat. So I threw the shawarma sandwich away ! I did not let her take a bite or eat it. From dirty tables to half broken lights, to questionable cleanliness. I frankly think they care as much about food quality as they do about the appearance of their place. Which is quite sad in itself. I will be the first in line for a delicious hole in the wall mom and pop and frankly this is just a hole with some dirty walls. So many better options around here. Looks like today's visit is my 5th check in at this location. Had hard time trying to place order when we are having communication difficulties. Cashier couldn't speak clearly. They are also changing the menu board. I was trying to order from left side wall with the old menu. Basically, a new board and higher price. They got lot of options and hope the growing pain will be thing of the past. I will be back to try other interesting offer like calzones and pizza. read more
