Went here the other night. Not busy at all. Let me preface that the food is spectacular in taste and presentation. However, the service, especially the younger girl who "greets" you (and will eventually take your order), needs a bit of an attitude adjustment. It is pretty obvious she doesn't want to be there. Not engaging, likes to slam down menus and plates on the tables. Yelling in the back at the staff, etc. I would 100% go back for to-go order, but not for a sit down. Kind of sad as this could be a great spot for a meal out. For food it is, mind you. But feeling like you are an annoyance while dining inside doesn't warrant a sit-down again. read more

We came back today for probably our seventh visit to this restaurant. The hummus was great. But the accompanying pita bread was delayed. Chicken Shawarma was very good, as was the mango drink. Pizza was poor to terrible. Young girl waitress seemed overwhelmed by the luncheon crowd. It seemed like everything worked better when some of the earlier servers worked here. we still like this place but it seems like it's on a downhill run. If this trend continues, we're going to drop into the two star range and we won't be coming back as often. our server did say on the way out that their oven is not working properly and they hope to get it fixed sometime soon. Would've been nice if we got that information before we ordered the pizza. read more

I had lunch here about a month ago (mid-week, 1-1:30-ish). I perused the menu and decided on the Half Grilled Chicken Plate (a half marinated chicken cooked rotisserie style and then finished to perfection on the grill. Served with garlic dip.) It also came with rice, salad, hummus, and pita. It was a (very) sizable meal and tasty. I was expecting a little more Middle Eastern spice on the chicken, but it was fall-off-the-bone tender and tasty nonetheless. I'm not sure how they 'finish it on the grill', but I guess I was expecting crispy skin and some char that wasn't there. Again, it was tasty so this really isn't a complaint as much as an observation. The rice, garlic dip, hummus, salad, and pita were very good! The restaurant is a bit spare and could use a bit of atmosphere, but it was fine for lunch and was clean. My server was a bit reserved, but still friendly and answered my questions. All-in-all, I plan to come back and try some of their other offerings! read more

If you are passionate about Yelping, it's always a privilege to be able to be the first several people to utilize a new business which needs input from people. This new Mediterranean/Syrian restaurant which has been operating (officially) for only two days, I was able to stop by and experience their service/food/ambiance on a sizzling early summer day on June 22, 2025. This echoes their restaurant name so perfectly, right?? Upon arrival and the moment I stepped in, this young lady upfront was smiling and welcomed me with a question, "Is this for here or to go?" She wasted no time! Before arriving, I perused their menu on their website (yes, their website is up and running) and set my eye on a few items. And of course, they were on the physical menu booklet as well so I asked for that. And they are/were, 1) Spinach Sambousek (5pc) and 2) Appetizer Sampler Plate. Whereas I was able to order the first item, I could not order the second one. The young lady (even after inquiring about it to the person in the kitchen) said the appetizer sampler thing wasn't still in their system so she kindly asked me to order another one. Ugh! Bummer....(I was so looking forward to getting me this plate so I was a bit disappointed with the situation.) I thus went with the Falafel plate which I found it under the Lunch Special section. Yup, this was kind of understandable for a business that's been open only for a few days. I took this as a soft opening phase??? The inside of the restaurant didn't have much and yet it was very clean. This is also understandable for a brand-new restaurant. I am pretty sure they will gradually start decorating the interior in the coming days/weeks. The young lady kindly offered me a complimentary baklava (which she's been doing that to all people who come in and dine or take out.) What a kind gesture! At home, I took a bite into the Sambousek and the Falafel. Sambousek is deep-fried but not greasy with oil. Very light almost like a samosa or sambuusa type dish. The Falafels are/were seasoned with some interesting spice which I couldn't make of. I quite fancy whatever the spice they put into them. Well, in conclusion, this new restaurant that took over the poke place sure is a new addition within my close vicinity. My hope is that by the time many notice them, their menu items are fully available. As much as the lady is/was so pleasant to me, people will have no problem with the "service" part they offer. P.S. When I was at the restaurant, there was an older couple dining in the warm dining area (not sure if they run AC at all; it sure was very warm inside). At the end of their meal, the lady walked up to the front and gave the young lady a commendation for the soup they consumed as they liked it very much. Excellent middle eastern food! Wow what a surprise tucked away in a little strip mall on Colorado blvd. The service was excellent! The restaurant is large with ample seats, so it's perfect for big gatherings! The food arrived in 15 mins of ordering. We ordered the king combo (see pics), and a side of fries! Delicious food! This small neighborhood Syrian restaurant was fantastic from the service to the presentation. We stared with the cucumber salad that had a light zesty dressing that had a lemony flavor. Next came the dips. These were both so creamy and airy. The hummus took me back to when a friends mom made fresh hummus and it was so creamy and full flavored with a good balance of tahini and chickpeas. The garlic dip was extra fluffy and had a great balance of garlic. It wasn't overwhelming like at other places. The meat platter was huge! This could have easily fed 4-5 people. The rice was flavored with cloves and was perfectly cooked. There were beef kabobs, chicken and beef skewers with veggies and lots of onions with parsley, lemon and seasoning. These combined were all complimented by the fluffiest pita I have had. We ordered pita to take home because it was so good. Thank you for this amazing meal. read more

This restaurant has such great tasting food. I had the hummus and meat (chicken shawarma) plate. The chicken was tender and had fabulous flavor. The hummus, and garlic dip were outstanding too. The pita bread was fresh and yummy. My husband had the lamb shank and commented on how tender it was. He too enjoyed the pita and hummus. The rice was some of the best he has ever had. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our visit! The ambiance was okay. Pleasant music was playing and there were interesting international destinations being shown on the televisions. read more

Have gotten food here three times now and I have to say it has been consistently good. We've tried the gyros and the chicken shawarma wraps. If your torn between both I'd say the gyros. They're a bit more hefty and filling. The times that I've gone the servers have been great, I like how the restaurant always looks clean and put together. read more

The food is good. Unfortunately, the server is extremely rude. She gave us the menus and slammed them in the table. When she brought the waters, the water went all over and she never clean or bring anything to clean up table. She is too young, inexperienced for waitressing. We tried different times and she is acting the same way. Manager should consider to get someone else and improve their customer service. read more

My fiance and I tried this place for dinner tonight and we were so impressed! I ordered the beef kofta and my fiance ordered the lamb kebab. The hummus was creamy and delicious, and the both the lamb and the kofta were juicy and perfectly cooked. Five stars for the food. One star for the dining-in experience. Our waitress was rude, the bathrooms were filthy, and the music was terrible. During our entire meal, the loud music was tuning in and out and was extremely annoying. I'm not sure why they wouldn't just turn it off as the reception was terrible. It was also slightly cold in the dining room and we had to wait a long time for the waitress to take our order. It's almost as if they don't really want customers to dine in. I would strongly suggest that you pick up your food like nearly all of the customers that we saw that day. Avoid dining in because it's a miserable experience. read more

Wonderful family owned little gem! Found this place couple weeks ago and have been back every Sunday for dinner. The menu is huge with options for everyone. Our favorite is the Syrian combo for 2, comes with mixed meats (beef, chicken & lamb; as well as rice, hummus/garlic dip, pita bread & 2 salads) The meats are perfectly cooked and just melt in your mouth, the flavoring is the perfect amount. The portions are very generous, we always have some leftover for lunch the next day! Can't forget about the BAKLAVA!!! Some of the best in town, made with all pistachios, you can tell it's made fresh daily in house not to overly sweet or with a lot of filo dough. I was really looking forward to trying this place. Even drove 30 mins from home just to try their food but... I got very sick. My partner also got violently sick shortly after. This was yesterday. We had plans to go to W Virginia this morning for the holiday and we had to cancel our flights because we couldn't leave our home. I also asked for extra garlic sauce and I received not two but zero in the order but that seems trivial, all things considered. The prices are great and the menu looks delicious. I was in and out so I can't speak on the service. These things happen but it was a pretty costly incident for my fiancé and I unfortunately. read more

Wanted to try this spot for a while and finally had the chance. Took my son along. It took over 20 minutes just to get our drinks, there was 1 other table. The young lady behind the counter had a lot going on on her phone. My son ordered a strawberry mango JUICE. What came out was a smoothie. It was good, but not juice in any way. My food was ok. A little bland. My son ordered a burger. A plain burger just, cheese, meat, ketchup. It came out without ketchup. And burnt. Like, very burnt. I waited about 20 minutes for her to bring the check but, no check. Went up to the counter to pay and she asked how it was. I told her the burger was way overcooked. In her words, "yeah they do it thay way to give it more flavor. If you want it normal, you have to ask for it undercooked". Why on earth would I ask for an undercooked burger on a first time in? She didnt ask how he wanted it cooked. Just brought us a burnt burger and said oh well. Will not be going back. Maybe they should employ a no cell phone rule when standing at the counter and customers are waiting. read more

Went in the afternoon. No one was around to help us for 5-10 minutes. The server finally came out of the bathroom and took our order, then she was hanging around eating a sandwich and putting her feet up outside. They had trays of baklava out uncovered on the counter next to where people pay, so we didn't order that. Our food took awhile, even though we were the only ones there. The chicken shwarma pizza was a unique idea, but pretty bland. Like a kid's cheese pizza that they dropped some shwarma on. Probably wouldn't come back to try anything else. read more

My husband said the pita bread was very good. The rice was watery, the chicken swarma was lacking flavor and the service was fairly poor. The server is also the cashier. She was very distracted by making personal calls- her conversations were loud. She got our order wrong and insisted it was correct. There was no hummus, tomato, tahini or lettuce on my Sandwich which is how it comes. She insisted it was there. And grabbed and pinched the pita bread with her hands. She then brought out the correct order as it is on the menu and said the kitchen got it wrong. Not a good experience. The gyro was ok but pickles were odd. I won't return or recommend.
