We came back, this time for dessert. Love absolutely everything about mango house, but especially its missions to support refugees. The family who runs Jasmine Syrian food is so friendly, and supportive of my mangled pronunciation. The snowball was our favorite dessert, hands down, as it is really good pre-prepped. The knaffe loses its crispness since it's not fresh, but still delicious. Highly highly recommend and will be back.

The beef Kabab is so delicious!!! Baba ghanoush is amazing with the smoky flavor! My boyfriend's all time favorite is beef kebab.

Storefront in a quiet food court off E. Colfax Ave.!

Falafel was perfect. Not too greasy golden and delicious and it comes with a side. I'm talking about the appetizer, so we got baba ghanouj, as the side. They were out of tabouli today, but it is one of my favorite Middle Eastern salads. We also had the lentil soup which could kill any virus for sure. Very delicious and creamy ! The mango house is where this resides and this is a place for people from different countries to show their talents and start their businesses when they come to the United States. Don't think of this as a place that has gourmet silverware and gourmet plates, but it does have gourmet food. Thank you, Mohammed for your time. It was a pleasure to meet you as a business owner and your father and thanks for the hospitality.

Chicken shawarma and lentil soup

Almost a week later and I'm still thinking about this food. I stopped in between work and an engagement looking for some delicious food fit for the cold weather. While I had heard of Mango House, I didn't realize they have the whole building with an international food court inside. Jasmine Syrian Food was one of several places (and I fully intend to come back to check out the rest!) and had a very nice selection of dishes. I picked the chicken shawarma with hummus and lentil soup. This left me with a bounty of food, half of which I took home to enjoy later. The lentil soup was incredibly flavorful and filling. The chicken was well seasoned, rice was great, and the hummus was perfectly smooth. The man who took my order was also very friendly and came to check on how everything was. It is a blessing to have so much quality Middle Eastern/West Asian cuisine in the Denver metro. Prices here feel reasonable and match the quality. Cannot wait to come back for more!

Food was delicious! Service was phenomenal. Order a pizza and entree of chicken with rice. Very happy with my plate. A+ Located inside Mango House.

The Mango International food court has a mission but the variety of choices and quality are great! We tried 3 food stalls between us and would return (and plan to) to any of them. Service was like we were visiting family and honored guests. My only caution is that the entrance is on what looks like the rear of the building (NOT the door on Colfax). Lots of easy parking back there though.

This small restaurant is one of the restaurant in food hall - mango house. Location is near East Colfax and may not be as safe at night for ladies alone. Parking is limited and difficult to find. The food and service was great. They offer reusable dish and silverware for "at here" orders.

This was my second visit to Mango House and decided to give Jasmine Syrian a try. I shared a vegetarian combo platter and a meat combo platter with my dining partner. It was just right for two hungry people for dinner(a little bread and spreads left over for lunch). All was good, baba ganoush had good smokey flavor, hummus was tasty but a little mild for my tastes. Rice and meats were flavorful. The food court is a fun place to visit!

This was the first place we tried when we arrived and it was really good. Reasonably priced, quick service. The restaurant is really small and shares cafeteria space with the food court in the small Asian strip mall.

I just had ordered lunch at one of the other food stalls in Mango House and was taking a look at menus for other stalls when I saw Jasmine's Sooksay "snowball"...Oh mama, I had to have it... chocolate, biscuit cookie, and coconut ball sounded too good to be true. I got one to go and wish I would've ordered 50. This was one of the best desserts I've had in a while, packed with flavor, yet only with a subtle sweetness. It was well worth the drive from Denver. Next time I'm excited to try Jasmine's entrees as well -- everything looked amazing!

It usually comes with 6 pieces of falafel, but I took the pic late

I have been to Jasmine twice now and loved it each time. Yesterday, I ordered falafel and knaffa. My friend and I shared them and they were so amazing! The falafel was freshly made and came out hot and crispy. The knaffa came out later and was heat hot as it's a traditional hot dessert. The only thing you have to worry about is that it's so delicious and because it's hot, you'll run the huge risk of burning your mouth. The gentleman that runs Jasmine is always so sweet and professional. I love his personality and sweetness.

Really great all around. The lamb shank and rice were fantastic. The lamb was so tender and really flavorful. The falafel, hummus, and baba ganoush were excellent. Really flavorful food and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Such amazing food I will definitely be recommending to everyone I know!

The buffet allowed me to try everything - and it's nothing like what you're picturing. There was constantly warm, fresh pita to try the hummus, whipped feta and tabbouleh. There was constantly fresh fruit out with honey yogurt that was to die for. While there was a ton of meats and cheeses to try from, the star of the show was the falafel. You can't miss trying it, it was the best falafel I've ever had. The vibes were great for brunch, and I highly recommend going for buffet style if you want to try a bunch of things on the menu.

No wonder this place is hard to get a reservation at and Michelin recognized. It is stellar!…read more The hotel it's in also has nice vibes. The restaurant has this nice open feeling to it with a full bar (you can order off the full menu if a solo or pair dining) and then plenty of tables. I recommend coming with a larger group if you can so you can try lots of things. Servers are nice and attentive. Obviously you have to try various hummus plates. The foraged mushroom and brussels sprouts were my favorite. I especially loved the jalapenos on the brussels sprouts one. The hummus itself was creamy and rich and the pita they bring is warm and fresh. The tabbouleh was fine but nothing spectacular and it says it has avocado in it but I didn't detect it. I love muhammara and theirs did not disappoint. The pickled vegetables were nice but I also love pickled anything. Absolutely make sure to get the bright green falafels. Probably my favorite of the night. Perfectly crispy exterior with a soft warm center that I'd eat over and over again. We ordered the duck but I was quite full so did not taste it. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is the scallops were incredibly underwhelming and quite bland. The scallops themselves were cooked fine but no flavor and the pomegranate sauce didn't add much. There desserts were also just so-so.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. We shared the Baba Ganoush to start. This is pureed, baked eggplant. Here tahini and pomegranate molasses were added. I am not a big eggplant fan, but this was phenomenal. The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful. The plate included a large tower of savory rice, a rich tzatziki sauce, a nice side of silky hummus, some pickled vegetables, and more pita. Another delicious offering and a huge portion. We also had soup as the entrees come with soup or salad. My friend tried the lentil soup and said it was flavorful and tasty. I had the tomato soup which was hardy and richly-flavored. This was a great meal. There's a pastry case with a choice of many Middle Eastern desserts. My friend selected several to take home and we staggered out of the restaurant with lots of leftovers that will make a delightful lunch tomorrow. A wonderful experience.
