    Sampler Salad Plate.
    Stacy M.

We had to try this place today after I read about it. We were greeted by a very pleasant waitress, Anastasia with fresh bread & butter. Our drinks were cold Armenian flavored soda (Pomagranit & Peach). We decided to try things out with a sampler plate of Jajukh, Russian Potato Salad and Armenian BBQ Veggie Salad. All wonderful in flavor. For your main course we had their Stuffed Cabbage (which was a different play on Polish Golabki) which was very tasty! We a tually took our leftovers home south us! Everything was fresh and then folks are very nice. We will go back as I am interested in trying their Kebabs and other specialties.

Fortunately when we arrived, only two of them were occupied (I did notice that quite a few people came in to pick up takeout orders while we were there, tho). Anyway after perusing the menu we decided on the following: - A cup of Solyanka (soup) - Beef, turkey, sausage, cabbage, olives, carrots, pickles - A cup of Borscht (soup) - red beets, grass fed beef, onions, carrots, potatoes, served with the spoon of sour cream and fresh herbs - Hinkali - 5 large Georgian style meat dumplings. Served with our special spicy tomato sauce - Cabbage Meat Roll (Golubtsi) - a cabbage roll dish consisting of cooked cabbage leaves wrapped around meat fillings seasoned with garlic, onion, and spices. Served with sour cream. - Honey Cake - Layered cake with light touch of honey and pastry cream between layers. OK. This was a TON of food and each dish (except the cake) came with sour cream. Both cups of soup were incredibly filling (glad we didn't order bowls, but a bowl would be a nice lunch by itself maybe with some bread). Everything was delicious and portions were large. We ended up bringing most of the dumplings home since we were so full (they reheated pretty well the next day). The Solyanka was a real surprise. I'd never had a soup with olives and pickles in it before. It was really yummy! Our server was nice and very polite, and the restaurant is very cute and clean. I would definitely eat here again.

The waitress was very friendly and told us that the restaurant has been operating for over eight years that's always a good sign. The food was excellent. We tried the vinaigrette salad, manty, and potato dumplings everything was very tasty, fresh, and clearly made with care. We also tried their homemade fruit compote, which was especially enjoyable. The service was fast, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we left with very positive impressions. We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys European cuisine

The food is good, the service is slow, the decor is beautiful green and white, but the dining area is always filthy. The staff do not keep up with cleaning off the tables, chairs, benches, and the floor. I have observed this on every dine in experience. The napkins are hidden behind the register. I wish that restaurants offering fresh produce would use organic for the dirty dozen which Crisp & Green does not. The sound level is good because I have never seen it crowded. The parking lot can sometimes be full but there is a lower level. I like the wraps, salads, smoothies, and açaí bowls. Focus on customer service and cleanliness for 4 and 5 star reviews!

They could pick a bowl or salad. All the ordering was done online and was delivered to us, so I did not have any interaction with the staff or get a vibe for the location. My biggest pet peeve with doing large orders online is that many places don't label what the item is. So it takes longer trying to figure out what the food is and who ordered that particular item. This place was even harder because many of the menu items had the same ingredients. I personally chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad. It had mixed greens, romain, tomatoes, cucumber, blackened chicken thighs, avocado, bacon, pickled onions and ranch dressing. Overall it was a decent salad. The chicken had nice flavor and it was a great mix. While the ranch dressing was tasty and herbaceous, it was also pretty intense. I didn't mind it too much. The veggies were fresh. My complaints with the salad that made it just okay, came from the soggy mix greens and the over red wine vinegar taste of the pickled onions. I couldn't even eat the onions and I love a good pickled onion.

Owner seriously needs to get a clue! I came in to get their…read morespecial chicken wraps, which honestly shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to prepare. What I witnessed while waiting was unbelievable. The hardworking young woman behind the counter was doing absolutely everything. She was taking orders, making food, handling the fries, processing payments, and trying to keep up with customers, while one other guy somewhat helped her, looked like he was new. She was literally running around nonstop and sweating so much that she looked like a football player trying to take on an entire team by herself. There were only about four customers inside, yet the operation was complete chaos. A customer before me had ordered a pizza that was made incorrectly, and after waiting 25 minutes, she demanded a refund because she still didn't have a proper order. Meanwhile, I waited 28 minutes for my chicken wraps and still had nothing. At that point, I requested a refund and left. What made the situation even worse was seeing the owner sitting outside casually chatting and sipping water with someone for the whole time that actually was also an employee while all of this was happening. The hardworking girl even went outside to ask for help, but instead of stepping in, the owner sent her back inside to handle refunds and continue preparing orders by herself. On top of that, the restaurant itself didn't leave a great impression. There was a large object sitting in the dining area covered with what appeared to be a plastic sheet, with parts sticking out from the sides. It looked out of place and gave the restaurant an unfinished, neglected appearance. If this has been sitting there for a while, it should have been addressed long ago. Customers shouldn't have to look at covered equipment or storage items while trying to enjoy a meal. This is absolutely ridiculous. I genuinely hope that young woman finds a better job with better pay because she deserves it. She was the only person making any effort to keep the place running. The owner needs to understand that running a restaurant isn't just about serving food. Customer service, supporting your staff, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment come first. Until that changes, I can't recommend this place to anyone.

The saj flatbread is a chewier pita that I really enjoyed. The jalapeno pesto sauce is more like a chimmichurri, but delicious no matter what you call it with lots of fresh jalapeno and herbs, not a ton of heat. The salad sides can be a bit bland without adding sauces, my wife loved the hummus. Baklava was walnut filled, crispy, not too drenched in syrup so it didn't get soggy. The person who helped me was friendly and courteous, could see her double checking the orders to make sure they were right which I really appreciated. The place looks and tastes like it should be full all the time, but has been nearly empty when I and coworkers have gone so lets change that, this place should be packed.

Glenda had the Shroomani Salad with tofu, sweet potatoes and arugula. We both thought it was delicious! I had the special summer Peaches, Almond and Goat Cheese salad and honestly, it was an underwhelming experience. The three main special stars of the salad, were not that well represented in the serving. In other words, there should have been more of these 'highlighted' portions in the salad. With that said, maybe the server, who was a pleasant guy, was light handed when it came to divvying up the showcased items. There's a 'decent' chance we might return and another, more savory salad will satisfy my palate. One last thing, when the servers are using the same gloves to move the food pans around, from the fridge, prep stations, etc...and not changing into clean gloves when they handle salad materials and food itself, that's a big turn off for me. A mixed review...

Edgewater Public Market is a great place to accommodate us - lots of socially distanced seating, open spaces and friendly folks like at the Lucky Bird to cater to just about any taste you may have. Today? The Farmhouse Salad with roasted chicken did it for me. I love the fatty nature of this salad - creamy ranch dressing, bacon and yummy blue cheese! No complaints from her. I may try hers next time - roasted chicken, cabbage, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, buttermilk dressing and Buffalo sauce. Yum!
