3.5 stars - this location is near I-25 and Colorado, so make sure you have it straight because there's another one further north on Colorado by 9th Avenue. This location is pretty decent, though it has been a little bit hit or miss for me. The food is always tasty and well-prepared but I've had some issues with long lines and the ingredient line running out of certain items right as people go up to order. I wonder if this is just a staffing issue, as it seems like they need more people working at busy times. It's still a convenient option when in the area, but you might want to order online ahead of time and skip the line. read more

Really enjoyed my experience at Cava this week! It's been many months since I've made a visit, and after a strong craving and being in the area I decided to stop in. The woman helping build my bowl was very helpful and even let us try some of the options such as the broccoli and eggplant. She was able to make suggestions and answered all of my questions/accommodated all of my requests. The food was great, I had the falafel and veggies with both types of hummus, and greens/rice/lentils as the base. It really hit the spot and was a delicious and very filling meal. Loooooove Cava. Everything here is so delicious, you really can't go wrong. The option to do just grains, just greens or both as a base is a nice touch. I always get both. The meats are always fresh and I like how you can add as much veggies as you want AND three sauces. Food was good and service was fine. The staff weren't wearing hairnets and had tight tee shirts. The one making my food raised his arms to bare his hairy underarms just about over the food. I really want to come back because I like the food and concept, but please have uniforms that are looser, comfortable and cover everything up. Also, it just seemed like there was no manger in the restaurant and everyone was winging or trying to 'figure it out'. I love how many options CAVA has -- whether it's your base, protein, veggies, or toppings, there is never a shortage of options and fun things to add! I also like how there are a lot of healthy options....Definitely a fiber-packed meal! For the price, I think portions are very generous; I can usually either get two meals out of a bowl, or one meal that leaves me full for 12+ hours. The last time I came here the brussels sprouts weren't fully roasted and there was either some sand or tiny rocks in the lentils that led to a few tooth cracking scares -- do not be like me and chomp aimlessly! Love Cava! I got the Chicken and Right Rice bowl. The food is fresh, tasty, and a good portion. It's perfect for lunch where you don't want a heavy meal that makes you feel sluggish afterwards. The bowl was healthy with a mix of both rice and arugula. The tzatziki, hummus, and a bunch of veggies and toppings made it so flavorful and tasty. I ordered Cava for the first time yesterday through the app, which is really user friendly and nice that it shows the ingredients, allergens, and calories. My food was ready when I arrived, and I noticed the restaurant was very clean and bright. I got a salad bowl with arugula, splendid greens (would be nice if there was description of this in app), hummus, eggplant, tzatziki, grilled chicken, most of the toppings, balsamic date vinaigrette and hot harissa vinaigrette on the side, and the free side of pita. I think they forgot the broccoli but it's okay. I didn't really need the dressings but they were both tasty. I loved that I could add all the toppings without extra charge. The bowl was about $12 and was enough for a whole extra meal, and the leftovers was just as delicious. The meal was pretty healthy overall. I get the hype of Cava now and definitely will be returning. I hope a closer location will open near me in Lakewood! read more

I'm writing this review solely based on the quality of the food I got as a takeout at this location of Cava today (unfortunately the service wasn't great; the lady who assisted me never smiled and was very blunt towards me.) The lentil avocado bowl was probably the best Mediterranean bowl I've had in a while. And despite the size the total calories is less than 500 (if I'm not mistaken.) This is unbelievable to say in a few words. Now I can't wait to go back there and try other things on the menu although I'd hate for that blunt lady to assist me again (LOL!) If this place had low quality food then I'd never go back. But since the lentil avocado bowl impressed me so much this is a good enough reason for me to go back and get more of what else this place has to offer. It sure was a nice transition from what it used to be (Zoe's Kitchen) to this new place, Cava. I had enjoyed Zoe's tremendously and yet Cava is much better in overall menu and quality. read more
