    Bowl and side of Pita
    Lauren D.

Really enjoyed my experience at Cava this week! It's been many months since I've made a visit, and after a strong craving and being in the area I decided to stop in. The woman helping build my bowl was very helpful and even let us try some of the options such as the broccoli and eggplant. She was able to make suggestions and answered all of my questions/accommodated all of my requests. The food was great, I had the falafel and veggies with both types of hummus, and greens/rice/lentils as the base. It really hit the spot and was a delicious and very filling meal. Additionally, the pita is fantastic and I haven't had anywhere else that's like it. Would highly recommend for a quick Mediterranean fix!

Loooooove Cava. Everything here is so delicious, you really can't go wrong. The option to do just grains, just greens or both as a base is a nice touch. I always get both. The meats are always fresh and I like how you can add as much veggies as you want AND three sauces. I'm a saucy guy so I love all the sauce options The staff is always super nice and helpful and patient as you decide all the goodness to choose from. I also appreciate how clean the Cavas are and not only with the food prep area but also in the drink area and trash areas. Highly reminded a visit here

Ok for fast casual I loved this!!! Pita sandwiches or grain bowls and you can build want you want OR the have some classic combinations! This pita sandwich was quite large and a bit messy in a good way! Lots of chicken, hummus, olives, lettuce and more. Really a fun lunch location that tge line is long for!

Whenever I'm in Denver, a visit to CAVA is a must. As a vegan, the diverse menu options never disappoint. The food leaves me feeling healthy and satisfied, and the value is unbeatable. The friendly and kind staff make each visit a joy. Can't wait for my next stop in Denver! I ordered the Greens & Grains Bowl: Greens - Arugula Grains - Brown Rice Dips + Spreads (up to 3) - Hummus, Roasted Eggplant, Harissa (spicy, but good) Mains - Falafel Toppings (unlimited) - Pickles, Cucumbers, Slaw, Kalamata Olives (I don't remember what else) Dressings (up to 2) - Lemon Herb Tahini & Balsamic Date Vinaigrette It was so good!! :)

Okay I LOVE Cava. Literally why would you eat at any other fast food spot when you could just get Cava instead? For a quite reasonable price for the portion, you can choose from a million different options to fill your bowl. Anyone who has dietary restrictions, or is just a picky eater can find something delicious. Personally I always get overwhelmed because there's so many amazing options, and I don't know what to get! Wish we had more Cavas in California :,)

The buffet allowed me to try everything - and it's nothing like what you're picturing. There was constantly warm, fresh pita to try the hummus, whipped feta and tabbouleh. There was constantly fresh fruit out with honey yogurt that was to die for. While there was a ton of meats and cheeses to try from, the star of the show was the falafel. You can't miss trying it, it was the best falafel I've ever had. The vibes were great for brunch, and I highly recommend going for buffet style if you want to try a bunch of things on the menu.

The restaurant has this nice open feeling to it with a full bar (you can order off the full menu if a solo or pair dining) and then plenty of tables. I recommend coming with a larger group if you can so you can try lots of things. Servers are nice and attentive. Obviously you have to try various hummus plates. The foraged mushroom and brussels sprouts were my favorite. I especially loved the jalapenos on the brussels sprouts one. The hummus itself was creamy and rich and the pita they bring is warm and fresh. The tabbouleh was fine but nothing spectacular and it says it has avocado in it but I didn't detect it. I love muhammara and theirs did not disappoint. The pickled vegetables were nice but I also love pickled anything. Absolutely make sure to get the bright green falafels. Probably my favorite of the night. Perfectly crispy exterior with a soft warm center that I'd eat over and over again. We ordered the duck but I was quite full so did not taste it. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is the scallops were incredibly underwhelming and quite bland. The scallops themselves were cooked fine but no flavor and the pomegranate sauce didn't add much. There desserts were also just so-so.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. We shared the Baba Ganoush to start. This is pureed, baked eggplant. Here tahini and pomegranate molasses were added. I am not a big eggplant fan, but this was phenomenal. The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful. The plate included a large tower of savory rice, a rich tzatziki sauce, a nice side of silky hummus, some pickled vegetables, and more pita. Another delicious offering and a huge portion. We also had soup as the entrees come with soup or salad. My friend tried the lentil soup and said it was flavorful and tasty. I had the tomato soup which was hardy and richly-flavored. This was a great meal. There's a pastry case with a choice of many Middle Eastern desserts. My friend selected several to take home and we staggered out of the restaurant with lots of leftovers that will make a delightful lunch tomorrow. A wonderful experience.

Many more had shown up here before we left, however. As it was happy hour, we tried three different appetizers: falafel with hummus, dolmas, and harissa carrots. While the dishes didn't appear to be a huge amount of food, they ended up being plenty. Everything had really nice flavor. As it was my wife's birthday, she got the free baklava for dessert. My daughter and I both thought it was fantastic...maybe one of the better baklavas we've had in a long time. My wife thought it was fine but has had other versions she'd liked better. Service was quick and strong from the start. All food came out surprisingly fast. We'd come here again if on/near Tennyson Street and in the mood for a good Mediterranean experience.

The restaurant inside was quite clean and well-maintained. I liked the simplicity in the dining interior. This was a nice start. And yet.... The menu - Quite small and limited. The laminated menus were at the register so I glanced at it. As I didn't see much on one side, I flipped it to see if there was anything on the back. There was nothing. I first thought that I would order a few things from the appetizer section but it didn't seem like it would be the most economical way so I turned my attention to the "The Real Deal": entree section. And oh boy, everything is/was so expensive unless you would order as a pita. For instance, the Shawarma Chicken is $21 as a pita, $25 as a baguette and $32 as a plate; the Ribeye Skewers is $34 as a pita, $37 as a baguette and whopping $42 as a plate. What?? Seriously?? After seeing these insanely high prices, I had no choice but to go with one of the cheapest items: Sabich (plate). I had no clue what Sabich was so I asked the young guy what that came with. And he said it's eggplant and eggs. Okay, sounds good I thought. I am a plate person so I went with that and it is/was $26. I'm not trying to be stingy here and yet after tax and tip, the total was $35. This is like ordering a good-portioned plate with some meat in it. At that point, I sure was crossing my fingers for the quality to be excellent or at least good. Sabich wasn't bad. It's a vegetarians plate where well-seasoned carrots, purple cabbage, eggplant and (hard-boiled) eggs (2) were placed in a round container. It came with a deliciously dense pita bread and oh my lord, French fries!! I have seen it where one of the accompaniments in a Middle Eastern or Mediterranean plate were French fries at least a few times in the past and this is a big no no or turn off for me. Why French fries?? Can they not put tabbouleh or hummus or something more closely associated with the very cuisine?? Or am I being picky or snobby here? As soon as I got to my car, I immediately started digging into the food (I had a yoga class to attend so hence the late lunch in my car.) Sabich is/was "okay" at its best. As I have already stated, the pita bread was delicious. Also, the two sauces that came with the dish were quite decent (I especially liked the yellow one) but other than that, this wasn't a dish I could rave about it. And the portion size wasn't that generous either. And I paid $35 for all of this? I feel like I wasted my money on something that was simply and painfully overpriced. Ugh.... I don't think I will return to this establishment. The only reason why I am giving this place a 3-star review is because of the pleasant young man upfront. His warm smile and meaningful "thank you" when he handed me my food were the only memorable things I could think of.
