Weekend lunch, late weekend lunch it is. Lot of people ask me where is the best Korean restaurant and I would say... Silla. Yes there are lots of KBBQ around the town but if you still looking for authentic Korean food, Silla is legit. Yes, they do very good KBBQ if you are into it. Today's visit, ended up getting the mixed cold noodle (bibi naenmyeon) and seafood soon tofu to share. For the bibinaegmyeon, there are only few Korean restaurants in Aurora who can make this and Silla consistently delivers delicious naengmyeon. For the tofu soup, it is deferent than Tofu house that I frequent alot. Bigger size for sure. I didn't have a room in my stomach to order galbi but if you are hungry, this place does it right. For one person, they will grill for you at the kitchen. Its meaty, full of flavor and comes with lettuce as part of the order. Since the new owner took over, ambiance has improved in a good way. Clean and inviting with bits of modern twist?

Came here to get the Bossam a few months ago but haven't had the chance to write a review! It was super good and the pork was so tender. I love eating it with the garlic and jalapeno slices and it was a perfect blend of spicy and svaory. They have a large menu of popular Korean dishes that I definitely need to come back and try. I also really enjoyed the assortment of kimchi! It's a cute little spot and the three female servers who were helping us were so sweet and even offered us a free kimchi pancake which was also really good!

I keep coming back here whenever I'm craving Korean food in general. Food: They are good at dishes across categories - naengmyeon, soondobu, hangover soup, BBQ, bibimbap, etc. It doesn't matter what we've ordered so far, it's been satisfying. Love their side dishes - they change it up so it's never boring. Vibe: Casual. Great for big or small groups. I would also be comfortable dining here alone. Service: Fast to average. Never had to wait too long for food even when they're busy. The staff in my experiences here have either been reserved, nice and polite or very friendly, polite staff, depending on who's working. Just like in some parts of Asia, I like how there's a service button at the table for when you want to order more or get the check. Price: $$. Reasonable for the location and what you get.

We haven't visited this restaurant since the pre-pandemic days so our time in this restaurant today felt special and nostalgic! We loved everything that we ordered today! The Galbi was tender and nicely marinated too! The Gom Tang was perfect for a chilly day and super flavorful! Seafood pancake was so crispy and tasted so authentic! My favorite part of the meal was the Banchan side dishes! The staff were so friendly and attentive too. I love when waitstaff notices that you need water filled or that you need more napkins without you asking them! We will eat here more often. The soups will be so comforting during the winter months:)

AMAZING FOOD. One of my favorite kimchi stews I have ever had. I'm craving it just thinking about it. I would highly recommend for anyone who likes Korean food. The service was also decent they were very quick to provide us with everything we asked.

Finally came and tried for lunch after recommendations for authentic Korean. The place was full for a holiday weekend during lunch which wasn't surprising. I like having the option of trying more specialties that I can't get else where and this did the trick. If you like your ham hocks and pork belly this is it. I enjoyed the banchan as well as it tasted homemade vs bottled commercial stuff. They had some private rooms too which worked well for our party of 15.

Great bonchon with an extensive menu. My group tried and assortment of meats, soup, appetizer and cold noodles. All items were flavorful and well prepared. Service could have been better with an extra server. Quiet relaxed atmosphere.

Had a great time at Silla for KBBQ. Arrived on a Saturday night to no wait. Place is decent sized with booths set up to BBQ your own meat. We got the special 3 that fed 3-4 along with some Mandu and beer. Meats were all delicious and well marinated. Sides were also plentiful with lots of options. We were very well fed with the amount! They have a button you can press when you need assistance and when you'd like to pay. Overall great KBBQ place, I'd return again.

Not very welcoming to non-Korean speakers - one of the servers who seemed like an owner was not very pleasant. Seemed out off to have to serve us. The male server was much nicer. Not attentive service. We had to track them down for more water and to check out. Their banchan was pretty good. Kimchi and mac noodles in the mix. He decided on the cold noodles and me seafood stew. The food was okay. I think I prefer our usual place as their service is friendlier. Shared parking lot.

I have been craving Bossam for so long but I have NEVER ate it. I looked everywhere and Silla is the only restaurant I saw that serves it! This was my fiancé and I's first time at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We walked in and we were greeted right away. Mind you, it was lunch time during a weekday and it wasn't as busy so we were seated right away! Our waitress was super kind! Every seating does have a cooking stove. It gives off really homey and small business feels indoor. We only ordered the reg Bossam and it was enough to feed 2 people. We really enjoyed it because it came with sides + lettuce!! Not having Bossam before, it wasn't bad for my first time!! Some of the pork was a little bit dryer (the meat part) but for the most part it was good and had a hint of flavor. It comes with a side of fermented cabbage. It def had a taste to it which I didn't mind but my fiancé did not enjoy it. Otherwise, we enjoyed adding all sorts of sides with our Bossam! By the end, we were stuffed and happy with our choice! Def will come again :)

I've been coming to this particular Korean restaurant since I was a little girl. I want to say it's one of the original Korean restaurant in Colorado. We recent visited to eat their cold buckwheat noodles soup (nengmyun). Which is perfect for really how days. I love their lunch menu just for that. You can order it with a side of kalbi (Korean short ribs) or dumplings. The portion size is a little on the smaller side. My tweens were still hungry after their lunch meal but for less than $20 it was well worth the drive. The service was on the slower end, it always have. We didn't expect any difference. Don't expect to order and eat, and pay within 30 mins. They remodels this place years back to make it more modern, it's not all about the vibe but their food. If you're ever in the Aurora area looking for authentic Korean food that's not hyped up on social media, check this place out!

Their lunch menu for naengmyun + galbi used to be $19 in December 2024. Price increased by 47% in 2 weeks to $28

I realize businesses need to raise prices due to inflation and the current state of the economy. However, I find it absurd for a business to increase a food item by 47% in just 2 weeks. Many people including myself, frequent Silla for their popular lunch set of naengmyun + galbi, which was $18 in mid-Dec 2024 but by Jan 2025, the price jumped to $28. I understand that price increases are necessary, and I've noticed many other restaurants adjusting their prices as well (which is normal and expected). However, Silla is the ONLY restaurant I've come across that raised its price by such a significant percentage in such a short time. I'm not sure what their other food items are like but I couldn't help notice this change. While they explained that the naengmyun is now a larger portion (which is true) and due to higher meat costs, the galbi portion was actually slightly smaller. Imo which still doesn't justify the increase. As for their mandu lunch set, not sure when this change happened, but it is no longer their handmade giant kimchi mandu. It came with 4 kimchi mandus that tasted and looked exactly like the frozen Pulmone ones I get from hmart. Super disappointing. I have family members and friends that are restaurant owners (even those that own a kbbq restaurant) and they all find it mind boggling that a restaurant was able to increase it by this much and so quickly too. Many of them mentioned around a 5% increase is expected annually but find 50% unusual. For context, a lunch set of naengmyun and galbi for two people now costs around $75, including tax and a 20% tip. Thought this was worth noting!!

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

Unfortunately, the experience was mixed--and ultimately disappointing. Before the meal, I stopped by the restroom to wash my hands. Both soap dispensers were empty or not working. I notified the bathroom attendant, assuming it would be quickly addressed. At the time, I brushed it off as a minor oversight. One of the highlights of Korean BBQ is always the variety of vegetable side dishes, and this visit did not disappoint in that regard. The assortment of banchan was plentiful--definitely the best part of the meal and something I always look forward to. However, the main dish fell short. I ordered the Kalbi Tang, which was quite disappointing. The beef ribs were clearly undercooked; the meat was tough, bristly, and difficult to chew. Instead of the tender, slow-cooked texture you expect from this dish. After the meal, I returned to the restroom--and to my surprise, the soap dispensers were still not working. This was no longer a small issue. It raised a serious concern: if customers didn't have access to soap, it's very possible that employees didn't either. The thought that staff might be handling food without properly washing their hands is unsettling and frankly unacceptable. I once heard a food inspector say that if you want to judge a restaurant, check the bathroom first. If they don't care about maintaining a basic level of cleanliness, it often reflects what's happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced that idea. While the side dishes were enjoyable, the combination of poor entree quality and concerning hygiene issues makes it hard to recommend returning anytime soon.
