Yummy Chinese food. Today was Christmas Day and they were bustling and full. We ordered the usual. (Refer to pictures.) Service was courteous. The mapo tofu is a bit on the spicy side. The fried fish also has heavily peppered batter. Still delicious. Have been here a few times already. Would come back.

This is the best place in Denver for Chinese food and probably the best place for asian food as well. The crispy sweet and sour pork was on point. The taste and texture are both exquisitely authentic. The pork bones are also amazing. Everything I had was delicious.

Sweet and Sour pork looked great but the texture was a bit off.

Got take out from this place, definitely wasn't worth it. Got a seafood noodle soup but the seafood was just meh. The broth was ok, a hint of spice and flavor but overall not too much. The noodles were very disappointing though. Flavorless and the texture was very unsatisfying. We also got a sweet and sour pork which we were wishing had a better texture as well. Overall, just a bit disappointing.

Best pork egg rolls in this area, and we have tried a few places looking for good ones. I tried the Special Spicy Chicken and my wife got the spicy beef noodles. Portions were huge. We only could eat half of it, but everything was very good! We will come back because I want to try some other stuff we saw on the menu also.

I have constantly been on the hunt for the perfect bowl of beef noodle soup. Lo and behold I have found it (I think). I still have a couple places in mind but the day I went to China Cafe I had no expectations. While speaking Mandarin made it easier to navigate the menu, I zero'd in on that one dish. I ended up ordering scallion pancakes and beef noodle soup. The scallion pancakes were ok. Guess I have grown accustomed to making them at home that even some restaurants are a bit off. On the flip side though, the beef noodle soup was amazing! This is a dish I grew up with so there are many nostalgic and specific flavors I actively seek. This order checked off all the boxes and definitely hit the spice level too! Flavor was certainly present but also the temperature of the broth was spot on. I dropped by at 4:30 to a smallish and quaint restaurant. By the end of my meal the entire place was packed with a good mix of people. My recommendation would be to come with a group and order multiple items so everyone can try a little bit of everything. Most of all, enjoy!

The service was great and the food was the best I have had in Denver. I'll definitely be back to this hidden gem! Best pork egg rolls!

Northeast has three typical dishes that most people would prefer to order first: Da-la-pi (Sliced Green Bean Flour Starch Sheet), Guo-bao-rou (Fried Pork in Scoop), and Di-san-xian (Stir Fried Eggplant, Potato and Pepper). If any restaurant can cook the best for this three dishes, it must be authentic.

Ordered Kung Pao Shrimp and Sesame Chicken, along with pork egg rolls. The shrimp dish was luscious, flavorful, and spicy! In fact, the dish made my nose run, a rarity indeed. The egg rolls were a standout too, and much to my liking. The wrapper was crispy and not too tough. The Sesame Chicken dish was nicely flavored and not too sweet, but the bits of chicken were overcooked rendering the pieces chewy and dry. I will definitely try this place again.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. Then the string beans and a new dish - sauerkraut fish filet. The sauerkraut fish filet reminded me of the Vietnamese catfish soup but no sweetness added. Very good dish and will def order again. Also love that they have quality rice here.

We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

The deal came with a free dessert to share, either a pandan cake or mango mousse. We decided on sharing and dividing the cake and boy, was it delicious! Just a few small bites to end our wonderful meal. As always, the service was very good and since we sat outside to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, the ambient was perfect: not too noisy at all. Wendy Tong, owner of Chopstix Fusion, is a lovely lady who welcomes her guests with great hospitality, and her husband is a phenomenal chef who, not only can cook these dishes, but can prepare some mean Chinese traditional dishes. If you have not eaten here, it is highly suggested that you stop by and instead of smelling the roses, smell the cooking that is happening here. Your nose, mouth, and stomach will thank you!

However, the food was delicious. Everything was super flavorful. Portions are pretty good as well. My go to order at every HK Canto style restaurant is the beef chowfun. If it's good, I'll come back. And the beef chow fun was some of the best that I have had in CO. I don't know. There was something about it where it had enough sauce cooked in the noodles but also a good quantity of meat as well. It wasn't overpowered by onions like a lot of places do. For desserts, I tried the ube tiramisu and the pandan coconut cake. Both were very tasty and they're not too sweet which is code for Asian approval on sweets. Service is friendly and food comes quick. It is a small restaurant tucked in a corner so WiFi is nonexistent.
