The jalapeño didn't add any spice Sesame chicken was a subtle but very sweet sauce. We didn't have the issue of other reviews of it being very bready. But the flavor was subtle Orange chicken was okay. A few chicken pieces were pretty tough. Mongolian beef was not spicy and the flavor was saved by the vegetables Lo mein was the star of the dishes. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. Overall, we faced what we have been facing with most Chinese restaurants out here. Came on a Saturday for lunch and was immediately seated. We ordered the walnut shrimp, seafood pan fried noodles, combination fried rice and orange chicken. I thought the walnut shrimp was sweet and cooked just right. The pan fried noodles had a generous portion of seafood and the combo fired rice had a generous portion of beef and chicken. We felt the portion sizes were appropriate for the family-style plates. We had more than enough food to bring home and enjoy the next day. The staff were friendly and attentive. They provided complimentary donuts at the end of the meal which we very much enjoyed. The only negative was that it was too hot inside the restaurant. I have not been here for some time but decided to try their lunch offerings. I ordered hot & sour soup with crispy wonton strips (it was hot, thick, and tasty) and also the Beef Lo Mein. The noodles were cooked perfect and there was plenty of tender beef pieces. The egg roll and wonton was as good as any I've had. The restaurant was packed and very active with a great staff moving swiftly about. Three separate servers took care of our needs, all gracious and nice. I didn't see any diners waiting long for their food including me. The Asian themed wall mural(s) are modern classic Hong Kong. I've been here before when the outside temps weren't so blazing hot and the outdoor seating would be perfect but not yesterday. All in all, we will be returning to try some more of the menu listings. From the perspective of a Singaporean who went to HK every year growing up, the food was pretty average. The best item we got was the crispy pork intestine and HK style French toast. The HK milk tea and Thai tea didn't have strong tea flavor which is what they're both supposed to be known for to counter the sweetness. Beef chao fun didn't have as much char flavor and was way too salty. Always a comforting meal at HK station! Big fan of their steam dumplings and wonton soup - I was under the weather and the soup made me feel so good. The beef fun chao is definitely my husbands favorite, so flavorful and has a slightly burnt taste, which I loved as well. I would probably skip the Singapore rice noodles, it was a bit dry for me. Been so busy that I haven't had a chance to grab food from here. So nice to be able to have dinner. Started with fried dumplings and this is the first time I've had them. So delish! Crispy outside and yummy inside. Flavorful and tasty. No weird textures. I have a texture thing. Ordered my favorite salt and pepper fish, beef chao fan and kung pao triple. It's funny but he's starting to be able to discern the subtle differences in preparation of the dishes between restaurants. This was my 2nd trip to HK station and first time I got happy family it was ok but after seeing an Instagram of someone ordering these salt and pepper wings and seeing on their page this Soy Sauce King noodle with bbq pork I had to try. The wings take 20 min. In meantime I got eggrolls which came out hot and super fast. The noodles came next and wow they were delicious. Very light and flavorful not oily just a perfect noodle with the bbq pork. The wings finally came Our super hot and with stir fry peppers on top. They were really good. I saw someone else get the Szechuan wings and those look fiery hot. It was super busy for lunch and had to try to get waitress attention but they're quick and efficient. Yes, I m also here to try out the place. Last few times, they were too busy. Sunday around 3 pm, yup. We got the seat, got to order few things. Things moved pretty quick so service was very prompt and attentive. Nice decor here and there. Food? I got the orange chicken. It was very good. Very strong orange flavor. There was few pieces of oranges but definitely strong orange flavor. Tofu with garlic sauce was good but not I was expecting. Hong Kong style? Definitely different than Hoongs Palace. I've been here quite a few times. The longest wait I've experienced was 40 minutes. And it's well worth the wait. This time around, we went at lunch time and while it was quite busy we were seated immediately. All of the staff were very attentive and nice. All three of us ordered the beef tendon soup. It's our favorite! The flat noodles were very large cut rice noodles. Perfectly cooked. They did get a little soggy as we kept eating, but I loved the taste and texture of the rice noodle. Each bowl was also generously topped with large chunks of tender tendon. It almost felt like an endless bowl and I'm not complaining. Hong Kong Station will always be a go to place for me. read more

Some of THE best and authentic Chinese I've had, especially in Colorado. This is probably gonna be my top or second top restaurant in the state. They have some dishes that aren't commonly served, like pork intestines, which they do SUPER well. - Salt and pepper pork chop: It wasn't as great the ones I've had back in California. The meat wasn't tender, and it felt overly salted with a little too much MSG. I do enjoy that they're more bite sized than the dish usually is - Singapore rice noodles: I didn't know that the Singapore noodles are curry noodles lol. They felt a little powdery, as if the spices weren't fully incorporated/grabbing onto the noodles. Very well balanced dish, and one of my favorites. - Bok choy: Standard bok choy. Wasn't overly salted or anything - Scallion pancake: These were better than I expected, my only complaint is that there weren't more lol. They were a bit burnt, so would've appreciated less of that. - Intestines: No photo was taken, oops, but these are my FAVORITE. It's SO MUCH better fresh, and I'd come back just for these. As one of the few restaurants offering authentic Hong Kong style cafe dishes in town, Hong Kong Station certainly captured the taste buds of its customers and was still quite busy Sunday afternoon with packed dine ins and even more take outs. Had an urge for something sweet, so ordered the french toast and Vietnamese coffee. A layer of peanut butter was sandwiched between two thick fluffy toasts, with a melting butter on top of the toast, drizzling with rich condensed milk, while the Vietnamese coffee neutralized a bit of the sweetness. After only ordering takeout, I finally made it to eat in person at the restaurant. This is a solid place if you're craving HK or Chinese dishes. They have two different menus essentially - one side is the American Chinese dishes for those that like Chinese food but only the main dishes like sesame chicken and the other side is more traditional Chinese dishes such as variety of clay pots. However if you want to venture, there's English translations next to the Chinese characters per dish. I have tried a variety of things on the menu and the eggplant claypot is a favorite of mine. The noodle dishes are also pretty good along with the fried rice. The walnut shrimp is always a good seafood dish. The twice cooked pork was spicy but delicious. I had the Hong Kong milk tea and that's quite good. It's not too sweet. You can have it hot or cold (although the cold can run out). It's small and can get crowded. There's a decent amount of seats. Service is friendly. Food comes out pretty quick. Plenty of parking. read more

Authentic, friendly, and delicious. Bonus: lots of gluten free options! I got the beef chao fan gluten free, and I nearly cried. I lived many years in Malaysia, and the flavor took me back. And I didn't get sick, so it was truly gluten-free. The staff were friendly, though a bit rushed, but it was busy and I was asking a lot of questions for my allergy. These peop's know how to optimize the turn on their tables. While there - the guy at the front counter was the bday celebratory starter. A cute version of "Happy Birthday to you" came on the speakers in the restaurant. At first I thought it was a glitch in the sound system because it was startlingly loud and it was not immediately apparent what was happening. However I began to see one staff member carrying a plate with a piece of cake with a candle. The staff began to all gather around a table of 12 people and started clapping to the song. The diners all then joined in and started singing and clapping too. It was cute. Memory maker for any birthday celebration! Love this place. Highly recommend. I'll be coming back for sure! This place is highly rated so I stopped in for a quick lunch. It's in a busy area and have their lunch service down to a science. The service is very quick as we were served within five minutes of ordering. The downside is the food quality, with the food being delivered on cafeteria trays. The sesame chicken was heavily breaded and lacked flavor. Ordered a soda gets you a can, not a fountain drink. I've honestly had much better food at plenty of other Chinese restaurants. The food comes out family and whenever it's freshly prepared. We realized after we ordered that we selected mostly from their Hong Kong specialty menu. The star of the show was the bubbling beef brisket and tendon pot. The texture of tendon isn't for everyone - make sure you love it because over 50% of the stew consists of tendon. They do serve the dishes with a lot of rice and some sweetened buns at the end of the meal (this was not very good so we didn't finish the free dessert). The walnut shrimp was perfectly fried and tossed in a luscious mayo dressing topped with toasted walnuts. The beef flat noodle was great. The disappointing dish was the salt and pepper pork chop - I was counting that was served with bones but it was boneless and a bit dry.
