    Orange Chicken

Unassuming little place in a strip mall off of County Line and Quebec. The staff is extremely friendly, I often see them greeting folks as regulars. You really get a close neighborhood feel from them. It's a small interior, but quaint. We usually do takeout. The Chicken entrees are my go-to. The batter is light and crispy, and I never have an issue with soggy chicken! Today, the chicken was so fresh that is was still piping hot - perfection. The general chicken is my favorite sauce, but I like the orange as well. Though, my orange chicken has less sauce than usual would like, it was still delicious and I appreciated that they made sure nothing would soak up the moisture and get soggy - I don't need something drenched in sauce. The fried rice is good, flavorful, but it would be nice to have some eggs, scallions or veggies in it. Still flavorful and nice, regardless. We usually add on a vegetable egg roll or crab Rangoon to complete it! So overall, very happy with this location and I would go as far to say it's my favorite Chinese takeout in the area.

Located in a small strip mall, Egg Roll King is unpretentious. However, this establishment is doing things right. On a Saturday early evening, there was a steady flow of customers coming to dine in or to pick up orders. Service was helpful and prompt. The food was delicious and portion sizes were good. I had the Curry Fried Rice (prepared mildly spicy at my request), my wife had the Cashew Shrimp, and we shared the Vegetable Egg Roll appetizer.

Learned about this location through Tik Tok. The shrimp eggs rolls, chefs kiss. Ordered lunch special which came with entree, fried rice, egg roll, and a wonton. The food was ok. I prefer my wontons on sweeter side. Service was quick and food hot when it came out.

Had a great lunch here on Saturday. Fast, quick, friendly service. A robust menu of Asian dishes. I had the King Pao Triple Delight lunch special served with hot and sour soup, fried rice, and egg roll. The food was hot, fresh and very delicious. The combination of shrimp, chicken, beef and fresh vegetables was just perfect. Definitely coming back here for more.

We've been looking for good Chinese food in Colorado for 7 years and still haven't found it. It was ok, not great. I don't like the "egg rolls" in Colorado. These are actually spring rolls. Egg rolls have a much thicker crust. Lunch portion comes with soup, crab Rangoon and the "egg roll".

To go food order from Egg Roll King.

It ended up being so good that we came back a second time before leaving town! Everything we ordered was delicious. Over our two visits, we tried the HK lemon tea, HK milk tea, shrimp wonton noodle soup, beef brisket noodle soup, HK-style French toast, beef chow fun, salt and pepper wings, scrambled eggs with tomato, and egg shrimp noodles. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying, and it really felt like authentic Hong Kong-style comfort food. The shrimp wonton noodle soup and beef brisket noodle soup were both excellent, with rich, flavorful broths and great textures. The beef chow fun was perfectly cooked, and the salt and pepper wings were crispy, well-seasoned, and hard to stop eating. The scrambled eggs with tomato was simple but comforting and well-balanced, and the egg shrimp noodles were another standout, fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The HK lemon tea and milk tea were exactly what you'd hope for from a classic Hong Kong café. One of the highlights was the HK-style French toast. It was rich, indulgent, and incredibly filling, definitely something to share or save room for! As a nice surprise, the staff even brought us complimentary deep-fried buns served with a sweet condensed milk dipping sauce, which were absolutely delicious. The portions here are generous, and there were still so many menu items we wanted to try. We honestly wished we had been staying longer so we could come back again and work our way through more of the menu. Dinner service can get quite busy, and there may be a wait, but it's absolutely worth it. Between the authentic flavors, generous portions, and welcoming hospitality, Hong Kong Station was one of the highlights of our trip. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

The HK milk tea and Thai tea didn't have strong tea flavor which is what they're both supposed to be known for to counter the sweetness. Beef chao fun didn't have as much char flavor and was way too salty. Walnut shrimp was decent and pan fried noodles just tasted kind of one note to me, and the flavor of store bought noodles.

I liked the people, the place, the menu, the location, but honestly I paid $30 for leftovers that I can't eat. It's a shame. I've never before seen anything this greasy. The owner came out to my car after I exited and asked why I didn't like it. While I respect that, he explained that what appeared as grease was instead, sauce, and that it was flash fried. The problem is that neither the sauce nor grease had taste or spice. When I placed several pieces of beef on a napkin, they saturated the napkin with oil. Maybe it's an oily sauce? They were generous with the beef. The beef quality was pretty good, and the vegetables were unique enough to merit praise. If it were me, I would ramp up the taste quotient in either the marinade or sauce, eliminate 90% of the oil, as it's unnecessary, and add spice. This could be a healthy dish if they used avocado oil, way less oil, and reduced the salt.

That's exactly what happened at East Moon. The menu is huge. Sushi, ramen, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes... basically something for whatever mood you're in. Usually when a restaurant tries to do that many things, something suffers. That wasn't the case here. The sushi nachos were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Honestly, I could've made a meal out of those alone. The combination of fish, mango, avocado, sauces, and crispy wonton chips just worked. We also ordered gyoza, beef pad thai, a Hawaiian Dragon Roll, sashimi ceviche, and tonkotsu ramen. Everyone at the table had a different favorite, which is usually a pretty good sign. The service was also genuinely friendly, which always makes a difference. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm craving a little bit of everything.

Many places we have tried have the wrinkly ones, but the picture here did not look like that, and thankfully, I was correct! We also got the general tao's chicken with fried rice, the stir fried rice noodles, and the crab cheese wontons. The crab cheese wontons had a sweetness to them, that we both really loved, honestly, these are probably my favorite crab cheese wontons I've ever had. The general tao's chicken, fried rice, and noodles were also good, but the stir fried rice noodles were our least favorite, they just seemed to be lacking a bit of flavor, but my husband also thought he was ordering lomein and not rice noodles, so that is also his bad. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.
