My mouth hasn't been this happy in a long time. The flavors were abundantly clear that their goal was to satisfy my taste buds. The texture of everything was wonderful too. The soup dumplings are worth devouring. The pork bun is what life is meant to include. Our server was top tier. I turned the menu over to him and he did not disappoint on any and all of his recommendations. We found Miya Moon on Yelp and decided to brave the Friday evening traffic and drive 40 minutes to try it--and we're so glad we did! We arrived around 6:30 p.m. It was busy, but we were seated right away. The restaurant is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered several dishes to share, including the fried green beans, cucumber salad, mini fried pork bao, and beef and onion dumplings. The green beans and cucumber salad were definite highlights--both were fresh and delicious. The mini fried pork bao were also excellent, and with 10 in an order, they were surprisingly filling. We ordered only a few items but left completely satisfied. Lupe was our server, and he was attentive and quick throughout the evening. Our water glasses never sat empty, even on a busy Friday night. We finished with the sweet taro buns, which came with three per order. The buns were wonderfully soft, and the sweet taro filling was delicious. The only thing I would love to see added is a selection of mocktails on the drink menu. A few thoughtful nonalcoholic options would have made the experience even better. We had a great evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We're excited to visit the Broomfield location and continue eating our way through the menu--especially the crab fried rice, mango pomelo sweet buns, and more of the dumplings! read more

We're regulars at Miya Moon and frequent diners so we expect a certain level of service. However, our recent experience was quite disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we weren't seated promptly because the restaurant didn't have a table available. We were offered a spot at the bar, which we accepted. About 15 minutes after us, another couple arrived and were seated immediately in a booth we had been promised. The waiter spent about 20 minutes chatting with them, even though the restaurant was completely booked. We also noticed that the diners were handing him a large wad of cash when they paid their bill. Another issue we've had is that the food is not properly spaced out between courses, which makes the meal feel rushed and poorly managed. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily uncomfortable. For a restaurant that should know how to handle reservations and provide professional service, this was a major disappointment. In the future, we'll stick to takeout instead of dining in. The food is always excellent, and we'll just enjoy it in the privacy of our own home. read more

An easy 5 stars! We tried an assortment of items on their menu. We had their cucumber salad. Very fresh and flavorful! We got the beef dumpling the pan fried pork buns, the xiao long bao buns. The dumpling and bao buns were so good!! We also got the short ribs and lo mein. Lo mein was the best lo mein I have had in a really long time. The short ribs were very delicious. I got the temple of smoke cocktail. So good and very Instagramable. It came with a bubble that once popped all the smoke is released. If you like smoky flavored drinks I recommend this one! So so good- went to the lone tree location and the one on broadway. The sesame chicken was SO good. We did also try some of the dumplings - I wish they had more chicken options since I don't eat pork, and I wasn't a huge fan of their veggie dumplings but other than that would definitely go again to try other things they have on the menu read more

After talking about Miya Moon's new offerings, as soon as the weather improved, had to try these out . Their Lone Tree location wasn't very large, featured a giant Monkey King statue at the entrance, accompanied by a smaller one nearby. The owner probably had a fondness for the Monkey King. The interior was elegantly decorated with a pleasant ambiance, with a private room and a sizable bar counter. When arrived, it wasn't too crowded yet, but by lunchtime, customers started coming in steadily and the place was nearly full shortly. Ordered pan-fried pork buns, juicy soup dumplings, pork and mushroom dumplings, and Wagyu fried rice. Also wanted to try their brown sugar rice cakes, but the server said they were out of stock, so have to try this next time. It's worth mentioning that the tableware here was quite high quality, even the napkins felt premium, making a great first impression. The pan-fried pork buns were among the best in town, soft on top, crispy underneath. The outer layer was fluffy yet chewy, while the bottom was golden brown, crispy, and savory. The filling was tender, and flavorful. The skin of the soup dumplings was thin but bouncy, with a tender, compact filling. The broth was rich but not overly abundant. Overall the taste was very satisfying. The skin of the mushroom and pork dumplings was smooth and chewy. The filling was delicate, with a deep, savory taste that balanced the earthiness of the mushroom and the unami of the meat quite well. The Wagyu fried rice was perfectly cooked, with each grain distinct, fragrant, and chewy, carrying a delightful wok aroma. The stir-fried Waygu beef was tender, while the marbling added depth to the rice's flavor, resulting in a surprisingly tasty dish. The Dandan noodles and Crab fried rice with curry of the table nearby looked quite tempting too. Besides the brown sugar rice cakes, will try these two next time. Wanted a later evening dinner on Sunday with some friends and this one of the nearby options open until 9:30. Only one other table was taken, though another couple came in after we sat as well (around 8 pm). Our server was very friendly and explained the menu and options. We ordered a few appetizers - the cucumber salad was alright but not quite as tangy/zesty as others. I thought the chili wontons were pretty good but husband was not excited by them. My friend got the seasonal tempura (I think) pumpkin - super good! But tasted a bit more like a dessert than a main dish. I opted for the mapo tofu dish for dinner. Had a decent flavor, including the numbing szechuan peppers. I think the dish could've used a little more salt, but otherwise a decent (and not massive) serving of the tofu, pork, and rice. Prices were reasonable for all the dishes. The 4 stars is primarily that the food was decent though not amazing and the music was a bit too loud/bassy - something about the speaker placement (I guess) made it reverberate where the booth seating is and it was a bit too thumping. read more

We arrived on a Saturday night and it was a packed restaurant. Good news is that we got there later in the evening, folks were starting to finish up their dinner and tables were starting to free up. The restaurant looks nice and can't go wrong with DBZ on the big TV! We ordered a few Tapas to try and for my entree, I went with the curry. Entrees were all fine, but the string bean was my favorite. Nice crunch with some garlic/salt chunks. Entrees came out shortly after and the curry was tasty. Creamy, has a hint of spiciness, and good balance of meat and veggies. Overall, we had a good experience here and the staff was very attentive. I would definitely return! read more

Miya Moon in Lone Tree has quickly become my favorite Chinese food restaurant. From the moment you walk in, the interior sets the tone with a moody, fun, and energetic vibe that makes it a great place for a night out. We usually order the sesame chicken, salt and pepper asparagus, mala steak fries, and either the vegetable or beef lo mein, and it is always an absolute feast. Every dish is packed with flavor and perfect for sharing, though it is tempting not to. The menu is incredibly satisfying and consistently hits every time. The staff is attentive and genuinely friendly, which really adds to the experience. The cocktails are excellent as well, and I almost always order the Old Fashioned, which they do really well. We can never wait to go back, and Miya Moon has easily earned a permanent spot in our restaurant rotation. read more

Went here after my hubby's appointment in Lone tree Kaiser. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted something a bit special and Miya Moon was the place. Our server, Lupe L. was GREAT! I had the orange chicken that was so crispy, not soggy like a lot of orange chicken. It really had a wonderful flavor. Oh, we had dumplings and another appetizer that was divine! My hubby had the crab fried rice with curry. The rice was superb, I should have got that! When we got there with reservations at 11:45 am, there was only us and two ladies there, but by the time we left about an hour later, the place was almost full. Reservations I believe is suggested and I can see why, but not really necessary and I saw something online that stated the suggested dress code is business casual, but it is not, just make sure you have on shoes and a shirt...LOL! read more

Very pretty restaurant with wonderful ambiance and service. We ordered the chili oil cucumber salad which was yummy and fresh. It was served on a very beautiful plate. Wow! The wife and I wanted to try something new, and hadn't had Chinese cuisine in some time, and had seen an Instagram reel about this spot. We took the short drive, and did it over deliver. We started with the Sautéed Green Beans, Snow Crab Wontons, and Cucumber Salad - All were delectable! I was particularly fond of the green beans (maybe the best i've ever had). We then proceeded to over indulge on the Mini Bao Pork Buns, Drunken Noodles, Kung Pao Chicken, and Veggie Lo Mein. Paired with a few cocktails, of which, were crafted perfectly, in a warm and welcoming ambiance. Wow! This place is spectacular from dining decorations, to service, and food! This place feels very retro and trendy. I love it. We arrived in good timing before the dinner rush. Everything on the menu just looked fantastic. We ordered quite a few dishes to try. All dishes were all FANTASTIC! Our top favorites were the honey tempura pumpkin and the salt and pepper asparagus with curry aioli. Mmmmmm, we finished pretty much everything except for the marinated short ribs because we were so full! Lol We finished about half of that order, so we did pretty good. We made a reservation for 2 at 6pm a week ago since this was gonna be our slightly late valentine dinner. We got there a little bit before 6pm and it took a while for someone to even come up to the front to say anything. There were 5 tables open with plates and silverware ready and yet they kept telling us they're getting a table ready. I was a little annoyed at this considering they sat someone who walked in before they sat us almost 15 mins after our reservation time. What's the point of having reservations when it's not even honored in the first place? I am a little bitter about losing out on the opportunity of a booth because of this. Our server seemed a little flustered but he was trying his best. We ordered (with our ratings) the mango lemonade $6 (8/10) and Jin shui $11 (5/10) for drinks and ordered the chicken lettuce cups $12 (8/10), honey spare ribs $12 (8/10), black pepper filet $20 (6/10), crab fried rice and curry $25 (6/10), and veggie lomein $14 + combo meat $6 (7/10) The honey spare ribs had great flavor and would be rated higher if they were a little more tender. Definitely need some wet wipes for this dish since the sauce can drip! The chicken lettuce cups had great flavor and for someone who usually picks out herbs for being too herby (yes, I know it's weird), I ate these up cause it was cooked in well. Lettuce could've been a little more fresh since it wasn't crisp. The lomein was my favorite entree if I had to pick one. The only thing I have a complaint about is that it's kind of a small portion for $20 when I can get a bigger size for less and it's just as good from a fast food Chinese restaurant. The beef pepper filet was kind of disappointing cause there wasn't much flavor??? I could feel the black pepper and feel the heat but there didn't seem to be any flavor really. No savory umami with a hint of sweetness that would've made this dish amazing. The same can be said for the crab fried rice. I was confused while eating it (without curry by the way since I don't like coconut) because there was heat but it overpowered the flavor and I didn't know what I was tasting. Overall the tapas were definitely my favorite. This place has a lot of potential and I do plan on coming back to try other dishes. I think they have some kinks to work out in both the front and the back but the restaurant itself is nice. It's quiet and spacious and the lighting works well with what they have. I didn't like having a light directly above me and yes I am still bitter about the booth even while I'm typing this review 2 hours after dinner. The reusable containers are great but hard to close and I absolutely love the bags!! I'm glad there's some restaurants being conscious about things like this. Maya Moon has a really fun vibe with the lighting and decor and unique private dining rooms. It definitely feels like modern Asian fusion. I recently went for the second time, the first was their soft opening in NYE which didn't offer the full food/drink menu but was a great experience. This past time I was a little disappointed with the service, our drinks took an exceptionally long time to arrive. They were very busy and had lots of people waiting for to-go orders as well as waiting for a table but it still seemed to take longer than necessary. The food was ok. We shared a salad and the greens were a bit wilted, didn't taste fresh, and wasn't impressive. My entree was tasty but it wasn't really anything special I had the jalapeño beef. We arrived shortly after they opened. The restaurant was dim, a bit colder than anticipated but seemed to be set up nice for those busy times - good dividers between the booths. We tried a few appetizers - Egg Drop Soup, Pork Belly Buns, Salt and Pepper Asparagus, Chili Wontons, and Homemade Pork Potstickers. The Egg Drop Soup was hot and tasty, it hit the spot on a cold day. The Pork Belly Buns had a nice surprise - I am not sharing, you can try them. The Salt and Pepper Asparagus were a welcome change instead of French Fries. The Homemade Pork Potstickers had a nice sear, adding even more flavor. I feel like they should tell us at the beginning because we kept waiting for our server to come. When someone finally told us about it, he was rude about it. How were we supposed to know?! The egg rolls ($6) came with two tiny portions. They were delicious. My friend got the black pepper steak ($22) . It came in a clay pot over lo mein type noodles. It was okay. I got the beef pad see ew ($18) ... the one item on the menu that was not Chinese lol. I really wanted beef chow fun (Chinese) but all they had was pad see ew. It was pretty good for pad see ew, but I still preferred beef chow fun since I don't like sweet and savory. The only items on the menu are basic Chinese restaurant (including takeout) items. While that is mostly what you care about, I've also gotta give this owner props for spending some money on the vibe and atmosphere. Simply put, the best Chinese restaurant I have found since we moved to Castle Rock. Lovely decor, friendly service, and delicious food. It's going to cost you a couple of bucks more than a Chinese food slop factory but it's well worth it. I especially like the Kung Pao chicken and the Mapo Dofu. Their hot and sour soup is also yummy. I cannot believe we live right next door and are only just now visiting this place. It is safe to say it will definitely become one of our regular spots. This has truly been the best restaurant experience I have ever had. From the warm welcome when we walked in to the moment we sat down, everything was perfect. Our server Lupe was not only incredibly helpful but also fun, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. The food itself was outstanding. I am a very picky eater and it still completely blew me away. I cannot wait to come back and try more dishes. The restaurant is decorated so cool and the ambiance is absolutely top notch. On top of that, every detail of the experience felt so thoughtful, from the beautifully designed takeout bag, which I am definitely keeping, to the overall atmosphere that made it feel like dining in a luxury five star restaurant. I had an outstanding experience at Miya Moon. From the moment we walked in, the attention to detail was obvious. There was beautiful decor, a warm and engaging staff, and food that was truly exceptional On our way out, we met the GM ,Rich, and complimented him on how much we enjoyed the entire experience. Rich described the concept as "elevated Chinese" and that's exactly what it felt like. Even the touches stood out: high-quality branded to go containers and a reusable insulated bag for leftovers. My friend, who lives in the area, was thrilled to discover such a great gem so close to home. Did I mention the food was exceptional? We ended up splitting four appetizers.
