This may be my favorite Mexican restaurant I have been to since moving to Colorado! I got the #8 dinner combination which was a crispy smothered tamale and chile relleno. My husband got the carne asada. We both got the house margarita. We also got the sopapillas a la mode which are made to order for dessert. So fresh and delicious! They also let you choose your spice level which I really appreciated. Everything was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The tamale was the best tamale I have had in a really long time. The sopapillas were the best I have ever had. The staff here were very friendly. The restaurant is cute. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food made with love, this is the place! I had the best fried Chile Relleno and Carnitas Taco, absolutely delicious. My friend had the fried tamales RICO!! Adriana welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness that we felt like family from the moment we walked in. They were so busy for Mother's Day but were gracious and friendly. We got there early to avoid the crowds. Lunch was winding down but take out was ramping up. Wanted something light so I decided on the seared ahi salad. He got the pork burrito. The chips and salsa were really good. Fresh tortilla chips. Crisp and tasty. The ahi was so fresh. Adriana's is by far my favorite local place to go. I'm a south Texan and the Migas are delicious!!!!! I crave Adriana's food when I am here in Colorado! She is adorable and so friendly, the food is incredible (beyond the migas!), the place is absolutely adorable, and looks authentically Mexican. Adriana's has Great food and the Deep Fried Tamales is something new to me. The Tamales were exceptional. Adriana provides great service and is a very cozy place. The food and margaritas are consistently very good. It is definitely not relaxing when the waitresses are flying around like their pants are on fire. Barely saw our waitress tonight. The chips and salsa finally came about the same time our meal did and drink were empty and the restaurant was not completely full at the time. Had to ask for her a couple times for a water refills and then got a handwritten bill that wasn't itemized. This is not a large restaurant, so I don't know where she went, but then two different waitresses come by and three visits when they wanted the bill paid. That's backwards service. It was very rushed and uncomfortable. Reply: We were there for 2 hours because of the delayed service and certainly not by choice. I am sorry you don't want to hear that, but as a business owner, you should want to know where improvements can be made. Coming from a long time customer that should be important to know that something was definitely not right! I would have liked a second margarita and to try the peanut butter pie, but once again, no one came by for quite sometime and by then, we were late to leave. Had we received an itemized bill in the first place, there would not have been any further delay in trying to get the bill paid and us on our way. We were not mad about it, just had legitimate questions and were verbally given the wrong pricing information which led to another question that was finally and easily clarified. Had the waitress not left so fast we could have asked her. What food was ordered is not relevant and was not the problem. Happy to turn the table over, but cannot do it on our own. Thank you for the delicious food and drinks over the years and those things get 5 stars. read more

We went for a drive out Franktown way and stumbled on this treasure. We walked in to a bright friendly atmosphere punctuated by a sunny waitress behind the bar who instructed us where to sit & handed us menus. Place was busy, and for most of our visit she was the lone remarkably efficient wait staff. It was fun just watching her! Then the food. Wow! I ordered the shrimp taco plate. We're not talking those tiny shrimp-- there were huge shrimp in 3 tacos. Wonderful flavor. Husband had the #2 combo & lived it as well. Great place for lunch! Our group of 30 was seated quickly on the deck and served chips and salsa right away. Even with the large amount of orders, we only waited 20 min to get our food. The chips and salsa had great flavor and the mild chicken enchiladas were filled with chicken and the sauce was delicious. I'll visit again. read more
