4.7/5 -- Los Dos Potrillos (Parker) Los Dos Potrillos is one of those spots that proves you can get great, consistent Mexican food without breaking the bank. Honestly, that sub-4.0 rating is a complete disservice to what this restaurant delivers -- the food is flat-out delicious, every single time. The service has always been solid for me, friendly, quick, and attentive. And the prices? Definitely reasonable, especially for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. If you're looking for a reliable Mexican spot in Parker that hits the mark every visit, this is it. Highly recommend.

Monterey chicken. Meat was 3" x 5" in size and pounded to 1/2" thickness. Skimpy. :(

Our cousins were visiting from out of town and wanted to meet here for dinner. I stopped coming to this restaurant many years ago because it was not good. Oh well. Maybe they improved? Nope. Unhappy, rude staff. NO sound attenuation. Very noisy, especially with the mariachi band. Seriously Gringo-type food. I was underwhelmed. Their chips and are one of the truly delicious items there. I ordered the grilled Monterey Chicken and the small, thinly pounded chicken breast arrived nice and hot with sautéed vegetables beneath but flavorless rice and gummy beans took up more room on my plate. Not worth a $21 entree. The chicken itself was fairly tasty but such a tiny piece of meat was sad. We ordered guacamole table side and it was prepared with far too many tomatoes and thus didn't have a good avocado flavor. Don't recommend it. My husband got the Chicken Ranchera but had to send it back because the potatoes were not cooked and it had no creamy sauce. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants for good reliable food. Their complimentary chips and salsa are amazing and the perfect amount of spice. I believe their tortillas and chips are homemade in-house and you can really taste the freshness. We love ordering the table side guacamole. My go-tos are the steak fajitas which come on a steaming hot plate with a generous plate of Mexican rice, beans, guac, sour cream, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Their carne asada is also very tasty.

This location of Los Dos Potrillos rules them all. I have been to other locations and they're great too. Maybe cause this one is our home base location it makes it that much more special? Who knows. Service has always been great and the feel of the restaurant reminds me of someone's giant house with a ton of friends. haha! Food and variety are certainly present and can satisfy just about any palette. Bring your friends, bring the family, or even sit at the bar on a solo trip. The everlasting flow of chips and salsa will set the tone. The staff will invite you in and set the pace. All you have to do is scarf down the food. Guess what? If you run out of food just order more!

Amazing Pazole! (Only available Friday-Sunday - and until they run out of! Service is hit or miss - I'm sure that when it's not busy, the service is probably exemplary - on a busy Sunday afternoon/evening, I think they were understaffed for the number of people in the restaurant. As a single diner, I was seated quickly at a high top in the bar area. It took a while for my server to come by although chips and salsa were delivered quickly. Having lots of time to look at the menu, I decided to have a passionfruit margarita and some posole. At first, my server was unsure if they still had any of the delicious soup, but he returned to say that they did, so I got a small bowl instead of the large,as he said, it was rather huge. The frozen passionfruit margarita was quite tasty. I got the "Small" and was glad I did after seeing the huge amount in the large glass being served to someone near me. The posole, when it arrived, was accompanied by cabbage, limes, onions, and radishes. Although not a huge serving, it was plenty for a light meal, especially after chips and salsa! And it was some of the best posole I have had in a long time! I look forward to bringing my husband here when we next come to Parker.

Los Dos is always reliable for good food, good service, and great drinks! Shared queso and barbacoa tacos with my husband and he was amazed how good the barbacoa is. A little on the spicy side, so if you hate spice find something else. Queso is always amazing. We arrived at 4:15p and there was no wait and room to sit at a high top in the bar area which is always my preferred!

Solid happy hour and friendly staff. Ambiance is decent flavors are authentic and prices are reasonable what more can you ask for? I loved the tableside guac. Drinks even the well ones were on the stronger side so I can definitely appreciate that.

My daughter's dish - cannot remember name but was amazing.

First time in 2 days before Thanksgiving. (Meant to post long ago) Wait for 6 - no reservations accepted Waited at 530 in crowded hallway with 3 kids under 8 year's. Ouch!! Atmosphere - loud & busy Service- Our server- Abel G was excellent! Just knew what we needed & served immediately. Recommend my daughter's plate it was amazing. Our fajitas were large in size and tasty To be honest the salsa was THEE best salsa we have had in CO yet. It's a bit busy and loud but drinks help

Ive picked up some dishes were vietnamese too, like they had Bo Ne, but we didnt end up ordering it, we definetely will have to next time!! Place wasnt too busy and we were greated right away and seated. Everything was clean and organized, we were given I believed iced jasmine or black tea instead of water which was new but in a good way! It was a delicious drink! Will take a picture of the mnu next time, but everything is explained well and the me u is easy to read as well. You can easily chiose your soice level as well as any allergies you might have. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and made sure to ask us how we prefered everything and made good recommendations.Service was quick and friendly and we were checked in regularly! We ordered: "Popcorn Chicken" 3/5 NOT a huge fan of popcorn chicken at all as I always find it dry and wasnt my choice of order but I was suprised! Its a lot more moist and fresh than I thought and the sauce that came with it really complimented the dish! HUGE PORTION TOO!!! Will definetely order next time as well! "Lemongrass Beef Sizzling Ribs" 5/5 This was my most favorite dish, it came in pipping hot and sizzling on a hot skillet! Our server did table service and mixed it for us nicely to enjoy, kind if reminds me of Gyukakus beef rib rice dish as well! The meat is nice and tender, marinated and grilled to perfection. The fried rice mixed with the cheese and onions were perfect combinated with the meat. Its insanely delicious and if you havent ordered it, youre respectfully insane. "Tonkatsu" 4.5/5 There are so many options to their hotpots but we decided to stay basic, we will definetely try the other broths next time! The broth was insanely delicious! Each hotpots come with plenty proteins/veggies. Ours came with lettuce, different tofus, sliced beef, ?fish cake?, immation crab, clams, and more. We have also ordered Taro Milk Tea and Strawberry Creme at the end which tasted so fresh and delicious. It definetely wasnt too sweet, it was just perfect. Im glad we saved room for the drinks hehe. Price was fair for all the food we ordered, everything had good portions and we could even share one main dish perfectly. Tasty Pot offers hearth, fresh, and insanely delicious food with great service! Do not be alarmed if you are not too familiar with cuisine as the staff will help you out and make good recommendations! Will definetely be coming back regularly!

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

I had also heard several coworkers talk about how good the food was, so I decided to place a takeout order for my family. When I picked up the order and got it home, I was amazed by how much food was in the bag. The meal arrived packed in foil pans--two smaller pans and one long pan. They also included napkins, tartar sauce, ketchup, and hot sauce packets. The portions were extremely generous. There were three of us eating, and we had enough leftovers to enjoy for almost three days. The meal was a little pricey, but considering the amount of food we received, the value was actually pretty good. As for the food itself, I wasn't as impressed as I expected to be after hearing so many people rave about it. The food wasn't bad, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. The best way I can describe it is that it was just okay. To be fair, this was a takeout order. I don't know how long the food sat before I picked it up, and some dishes simply don't travel as well as others. I suspect the dine-in experience may be much different. Although my first visit didn't quite live up to the hype, I appreciate the generous portions and attention to packaging. I'm willing to give Pappadeaux another chance in the future and try the full dining experience before making a final judgment.

It's definitely giving date night energy: low lighting, candlelit tables, and a cozy-but-busy atmosphere. Every time I've gone it's been pretty packed, but I've never had trouble snagging a seat (and I never make reservations). Honestly, it's become my go-to for a solo night--cocktail in hand, spicy book in the other. My routine? Friday nights. I settle in with my book, order the Thai calamari (which has the perfect punch of flavor), and wait for the 9pm special--$0.99 oysters until close on Fridays and Saturdays. Such a steal. The servers are always great, but Chris really stands out--attentive, kind, and totally gets the vibe of letting me relax and enjoy my drink and my book. I also came during Denver Restaurant Week and did their 3-course menu: calamari (obviously), the sea bass (which surprised me in the best way), and the blood orange olive oil cake... WOW. Light, citrusy, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. Most recently, I brought my boyfriend and we finally explored more of their oyster selection.
