Las Delicias in Parker has always been one of our go-to favorites for carryout and last night we ordered for the first time since the employee to ownership change to El Delicioso Tex Mex and wowza! All the same favorites but with an upgrade! I loved the vegetable enchiladas with chunks of fresh veg and spinach topped with a bright citrus tomatillo sauce - and the flan was a beautifully soft dense texture with the perfect amount of thin sweet sauce. First time at this location and was excited to try it out. The last Las Delicias location I have visited was in Glendale and more than 30 years ago. This place leeks and cries for updates. There is no ambiance to talk about here other than tables jammed in. Feels very cluster. Food was lackluster. No flavor. There was a bottle of Tapatio to help out. Complimentary chips was addictive but I was hungry too. Got the combo #5. Chille relenos fried was the kinda boring. Pieces of chiile with cheese wrapped up in wonton skin and deep fried. Meh, just ok. I was hoping to get some pretty tasty food here but it let me down . Wasn't very flavorful, the chips and salsa were pretty tasty though. The rice was kind of yucky. I am very impressed with the new management changes in both menu choices and quality! I ate in for lunch on Sunday and had the best friendly service!! I was asked 2 times if I needed my salsa topped off. I wanted to try more items and will be back because it was just me. I loved being able to get lingua street tacos in Parker! I haven't eaten at this location in years and on this day we only stopped to grab a drink while waiting for an event to start. We stopped in and were greeted by what seemed like 20 employees. They had a TON of people working and hardly any business. Seemed odd for a Saturday around lunch time. We asked to just sit at the bar and they seemed unhappy with that but willing. I am sure one of the twenty servers wanted something to do. We sat down and the bartender handed us menus. We stated we were just drinking and again he seemed disappointed. The margaritas were okay. Tasted like premix syrup type stuff. The bartender kept asking if we were sure we didn't want to order food or wanted more chips and salsa. I think they were bored. I felt bad. The restaurant is a bit unassuming. We were greeted by a few employees, arriving a few minutes before 11:00am. Service was exceptional. But their menus did not compare to what was on their website - they had many dishes. For me, this seems to dilute their products. We ordered the combination plates (Beef Taco, Cheese Enchilada, Tamale) and (Beef Burrito, Cheese Enchilada, Chile Rellenos). The food was OK. I love their food. However, I get the same waitress every time, around 7 or 8 pm week nights. She is always very curt (rudely brief, abrupt, blunt etc) and some times she is just flat out mean. I always tip way more than I should. She has some kind of problem with me, I see her acting like a good, normal waitress should with the other patrons: Smiling, happy, on and on. I haven't been back in about 8 or 9 months and doubt I will go there again. Hopefully the new owner will make it better. Don't waste your time don't waste your money. When you walk into the restaurant, the floor is so bad they need a serious makeover. I had a chimichanga and the ground beef tasted like dog food. We've been coming here since we moved to Parker 25 years ago. Tonight was our first bad experience. Don't understand the low ratings of this restaurant. We are Colorado natives, and are quite picky about Colorado mexican food. Is there really such thing as bad mexican food? We stopped in for a quesadilla - according to INet, a quesadilla is supposed to be: "It is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside; the melted cheese contrasts the richness of the quesadilla's exterior. It's critical to have a good melting of cheese and good tortillas. It's crispy, creamy, and crispy-crunchy all at the same time, so pay attention to the mouthfeel." We have been going to Las D's almost weekly for over a decade but the one in Denver. We were so excited to see there was one in Parker and couldn't wait to try it! Our Mexican dining experience in this town have been pretty awful and I don't understand why everything is so bland and tasteless. Was worried this would be the case here given it was in Parker but we were pleasantly surprised! Everything tasted exactly the same as the Denver location and the service was spectacular! The ambience of course is lackluster compared to the Denver location but that's minor, we are here to eat great food and enjoy ourselves which we did! Another great Mexican restaurant. Service was exceptional! Ambiance perfect! I had Huevos Rancheros and it was divine but could have had a bit more beans and rice. The prices were on par. I can't remember what my son had but he was very happy and cleaned his plate. Corn tortillas tasted fresh and homemade. But the SALSA! Honestly, I'm not a red salsa gal, I like green. I don't know how people can rate this anything other than 5 stars.., it s basic, delicious, Mexican food that is muy delicioso and they have the best cheese and onion enchiladas and chips and salsa in town. The Service was good throughout the meal.. We were very happy with our choice in food. The Bean Burrito smothered in Green Chili was a big hit. The (3) Carnitas Tacos with Beans & Alvocado was delicious. Upside: The location is great!! Downtown Parker with a Parking Lot. Downside: The bar area is small. They only have (2) beers on Tap. The food is absolutely fantastic. Every time. The only entree that isn't very tasty is chicken nuggets from the kids menu. But all of the Mexican food tastes so great, reliably, every time we go. But the service is what makes me knock one star off. They are great about taking reservations and to-go food orders are always done quickly and the orders are correct. But service at the restaurant isn't the best. You rarely get drink refills, even just water. They drop your food off and ask if you're missing anything. And then you might not see the server again for quite some time. If you want dessert, you have to find your server and get their attention. Otherwise, they ignore you. read more

I came to this restaurant on a Tuesday night with my friend for some great comfort food. The service was quick and our server was extremely nice ! I asked if they had any specials for Taco Tuesday and was told that this location did not do anything for Taco Tuesday but that other locations of theirs did -which was slightly disappointing . We arrived around 6 pm and the restaurant was not very crowded -I think that having some form of special for Taco Tuesday would be great for business ! We started off with chicken nachos which were actually really good. Not greasy and the food had a lot of flavor ! I would definitely recommend the tacos. I ordered a combination plate of green Chile burrito, beef taco and cheese enchilada and enjoyed my food a lot. I do feel like the green Chile was a little bland and could have more spice and flavor to it. The chips and salsa we were served when we sat down had more spice than the green Chile salsa on my burrito. The cheese enchilada was okay and the beef taco was delicious . I would definitely eat here again. The food was priced well , the service we received was fantastic and the food was not bad. I do wish the green Chile salsa (the whole reason I ordered the dish) had better flavor and spice. Also I think there should be some kind of deal at THIS location for Taco Tuesday ! I enjoyed eating here when I lived in Parker, and still enjoy it when I come to visit. The service is always quick, the chips and salsa are tasty, and the staff is very friendly. I come here with my Mom when I visit and they always know her order. (sometimes too well as they made her her usual before she ordered when she really wanted something else!) It's right downtown in Parker, with lots of parking. They have some TV's usually playing sports, and decent drink prices. As a mostly Vegan diner I hope the refried beans are lard free, as with the tortillas, but I've never asked. Some mexican places are more traditional then others in the inclusion of lard in there tortillas and refired beans. I'll certainly return, as I have for years. I would just to eat the chips and salsa. read more
